Heard he is quite talented and Bubs type of player but let's step back a bit. Doubt if Citeh would be selling if he was the next Roanaldo or Messi. Worth a punt to see what Bubs can turn him into.

Unless you manage one of the top teams with money your chances of trophy success are limited.
Bielsa with the players he has had available to him at Leeds has proven his true quality.
With a net income surplus as a result of transfers out, he has produced a team that has been at the top of the table this season and last.
Whilst playing a great brand of football, very unlike the usual kick and rush style played in the Championship.
Given the money and players available to him since he has come in, our display in the first half against Arsenal clearly demonstrated how good a coach he is.

BUT It's just that if we don't go up this season again . Bielsa will most probably be gone and so will will

Martyn G, I hear you. If we go up then the moaning will continue. 'we need to invest more', 'we're buying too many players'. It'll always be something.
When people can moan when we're top of the league with a 9 point cushion to 3rd place, and playing some of the best football I remember seeing at Leeds for MANY a season, they'll always find fault.
Me, I'm enjoying the journey, not fixating on the destination. I've certainly had worse seasons supporting Leeds.

Bazooka I enjoyed it far more than the 14 or so before it because last year was progress on anything in the last decade for us. We aināt Barcelona or PSG With endless funds but there aināt many others out there playing like us and getting the support like us on the money weāve spent. ALAW? All I hear is complaining about signings or lack of them before weāve even done them. Letās wait until window shuts and see weāre we are then. You may all be pleasantly surprised or disappointed before you jump down my throat and say it but letās get behind them and Kay sera. MOT BOYS.

How can anyone not be happy about how this season is going so far and the progress we have made. Yes blew up last season, first one for Bubs and first one for players playing this style. Think we will have learned from that. Yes we can moan about odd games and performances and whether a player is good enough but come on we are top 9 points clear of third and performing better this season. Jan window will be whatever it is. Whoever we sign will be what management have agreed on. I have my preferences but doubt if they will arrive but i will be happy with any arrivals that will strengthen the squad. Looking forward to rest of season and i will probably moan at some point and if we blow up again you will never hear the end of it but right now i am loving it. Onwards and upwards.

Love Bielsa but there remains the nagging fact that in his career he remains the ' nearly man'in terms of winning things with his teams running out of steam second half of the season due to the small squad
Hopefully Bielsa, Radz and Orta will not repeat last season's January window mistakes AND also we are blessed with an injury free second half of the season
We MUST get promoted this season.

Wouldnt it be amazing if Biesla and Leeds turned it all up on its head and together we started winning trophies. Championship trophy, then the League Cup (whilst remaining in the PL) then the FA Cup (whilst vying for a top 6 finish)

Maybe that is because of the challenges he takes on. Iām sure if he went for all the top clubs with unlimited resources like some managers he would be able to win it all. But that isnāt his style and never has been.

We have issues with too many loan players this would not only resolve it but also give more stability.
Obviously could cause issues on FFP and whether especially JH would want to be sign for a Championship club permanently.

harrision is 8million apprently which at the start of the season i'd of scoffed at but now i would say get him signed which is credit to the lad and belisa for sticking with what to me and many was a dud
mellisa looks like a must buy but if we can wait till summer then i'd wait and spend money on a defender right now.

If we do NOT go up this season neither player its extremely likely that Leeds will sign neither player.
It really is a crucial January window and a crucial second half of the season for Radz, Orta, Bielsa . I hope they don't mess it up again.

From those players' perspectives. Do they really want to sign for leeds in January. I can't see any reason that they would. They are playing well so they know that there are going to be clubs that want them.
If leeds don't go up then if they had signed for us they are destined to another championship campaign. If they haven't signed then they are free to move where they want
If leeds do go up then they know they will be playing PL football next year
A lot of posters on here make the assumption that if Leeds want then leeds will get. I can't see it that way myself.
