I think he would work well there as he can run, he can dribble with a bit of work on crossing and shooting he could be a very good opinion what is your opinion ed {Ed013's Note - Unless Brian works some magic with him I can only see him as a Left Back, but I am happy to be proven wrong mate}

Even Grayson said that he always thought White would ultimately move to an attacking midfielder/winger!

A goal to shot ratio of 3-4 is world class. Garth Bale averaged 8. 8 shots to goal ratio last season. The likes of Ronaldo and Mesi put away 1 out of every 3-4 shots. I pray White is that prolific. Wakey White.

I am really annoyed that Carson has gone to Wigan to fight for a first team slot. I really wanted him back at Leeds and would surely have been a given for the first team. And he is still reletively young so would fit the mould.

Paddy Kenny has always been better than Carson, even when he was playing for England.

Nothing wrong with the goalkeepers we have at the club already not many better than kenny in the championship

Aidy White is being re-trained into a utility man sort of player, an off the striker role. Could this be our own "Gareth Bale". Similarities obvioulsy from the fact he is a left sided defensive player.

I really like this idea as he has been under used over the past few seasons, bearing in mind he is pacey and has a degree of skill in his feet.

Difference being that Bale is a big, powerful direct sort of player whereas White is a little, scampering type of chap. Nothing alike!

Sorry, bale big, powerful and direct? From what I've seen he is fast, skilful and loves going round defenders.

Yes. he's 6 foot, built like an athlete and runs at defenders. i'd say the poster's description fits that.

I wonder if the player macD is looking to bring in is richard stearman. A center back who can also play right back 25year old in his last year of his contract. And also being chased by Ipswich, macD did say there was another club involved. Then again it could have been upson I suppose but I think he is trying to bring in players with sell on value and upson won't have that.

Its great to have a man in charge willing to reconise and reward whites efforts and try something new. Proves he has an exact plan and formation for next season. and definite players he needs in certain positions, which we prob won't know until they arrive

Don't know if you have been watching White in recent seasons but he lacks most things except a bit of pace - and that is not exceptional when compared with others. McD will have done wonders if he can get White to play well. I hope he doesn't waste too much time if it turns out to be 'a bridge too far'

Think people forget how young white is he still got things to learn

Said few days ago 3 players will challenge for hole behind strikers, attacking midfielder. Ross, Dioufy and White. That leaves 2 remaining players to accompany Murphy in maybe a diamond at times. Green or Austin. Think BMd will prefer Green initially and unless we get someone better in can see the other player being Tonge or Dawson. We really need a winger though instead. Buy Wabara and put Byram right wing.

I just think mcd is a smart cookie and will already know who his starting 11 will be. He will play differently to what we expect. He has a point to prove and he will do it. Forget how players played last year
