Warnock to walk before sacking.
Last season, we only manged 3 wins out of 14 and went on a downward spiral. Now in a downward spiral again - 5 wins out of 16. Performances continue to be dreadful.
Hopefully the takeover will provide the new manager with decent funding and allow him to get rid of the many underperforming players.

Warnock was supposedly given the job in order to get more out of the players than Grayson could. He failed miserably on that one and is continuing to do so even with his own players. I am not in to change for change sake but i would love to see a young guy like Freedman given the chance to really build for the future, we have missed out on him but maybe Terry Butcher/Tim Sherwood for the future.

This whole season was a joke from the start. GFH have not had LU at its heart - If they did - they would have got things sorted out speedyly and if that was not possible then drop off. There is no way even if we had Harry Redknapp to get us in the PO's. Blame KB and GFH for this mess. KB for NW and GFH for dragging this saga.
I heard from a very good source last night that the reason the takeover has not been done is that gfh have been ready to do it on more than one occasion,but mr.bates has has held things up time and again with his stalling tactics,probably so he can continue milking the club.how people can say he saved the club i don't know,he has not done what any decent chairman would do and try to take the team forward,he has been happy to con the fans and line his own pockets,this man has ruined the club and got richer doing it,great business man horrible human being, take the money now and go please!you have done what you said you wanted to do all those years ago and that is not just make us a laughing stock, but take us once again close to what would be a potential relegation and further ruin.well done mr.bates.

Paul Green is a CM or at a push play him on the right. Today we play him in a back 3! Lees has an eye injury, not an ankle or strain an eye injury, so he will have been training as normal, so would have been fit. Why oh why did he play probably one of our best midfielders in a back 3? He then brought him off and in my opinion he was one of the only players in the team who did ok despite being out of position. To replace him with one of our best defendcers!! Play a back 3 by all means, but with 3 defenders. NW I want you to succeed, but I seriously doubt your tactics.

Bored of reading all the rubbish from the arm chair followers. Today's result is a shocker but we can hardly judge the a team playing with 9 men! The give their all today. I must stick up for varney aswell. Not been a big fan of his but over the last few games he's earned his place. Becchio's form warrants him starting on the bench while all the brown haters obviously don't go to the games. I travel home and away but I think I'm the only fan who think white is rubbish. Why do leeds always ruin my weekend! I was so confident today too. I rate NW hes a good manager but like SG he didnt have too many players to choose from. My only complaint is I want to see a bit of football, a few one twos, some nice through balls, and most of all a nice solid defence. Is that to much to ask? I took my family today and it cost me £130 with petrol etc. Even if we lose and play well then that would be something. Long ball is too predictable and you have to have the right players for it which we have not, were no stoke. Never thought i would say that. Anyway with Rudy out and Pearce banned I think NW will feel the pressure especially with new owners in our next match. Hope we get jerome on monday, thats something I guess. MOT, Vinny.

Here we go again, Leeds lose and everyone starts wanting Warnock out, the fans didn't turn up and the Bates out chants ring again, very boring now! Today we started off better than we have for weeks, we looked threatening and we actually passed the ball around well, Pearce got sent off and we still had a chance, at this moment in time it was only 1-0 (which was offside) Austin getting injured changed the game he was bossing the midfield and then the flood gates opened but apparently it's NW fault? 9 men against a Udinese reserve side with a lot of pace and energy! Leeds gave it a real go in the second half the effort was tremendous from the boys, all you who are slagging Varney off give the bloke a break, he ran his socks off today, we got a goal from his efforts but no people don't notice that they just want someone to put the blame on, if anything Kenny should get a large % of it because his efforts for the goals were poor, just like Litas goal against us 2 weeks ago, so slow to react and they were soft goals to give away! Time for Ashdown to have a run in the side, take over will be done next week according to David Haighs brother in law, and at the end of the day if you don't like what's happening on the pitch, don't go! Or if you're that passionate then support the team like the fans did today! I live in Exeter and go nearly every game, even if we're poor I'll still go because I don't take it for granted! This is the most deluded post on here for some time - and I've read some drivel since I started coming on here about 15 month ago.
We were not bossing midfield, or any other part of the pitch for that matter. Warnock doesn't even know what midfield is. His long ball game bypasses midfield. 1-0 was flattering us at half time, just as 6-1 was pretty flattering by the end.
What's more, this result has been coming for weeks. We beat Barnsley but could easily have lost that game by the same score - their shots on target in that game outnumbered ours 6-1 - and ours was a dodgy penalty. We were shocking against Charlton and Wednesday but somehow picked up draws. That's 5 undeserved points picked up in 3 games without which we'd be down around the relegation zone.
As for their first goal, I was in line with play and I've watched the replays - it did not look offside to me and even if it was, what were our players doing poncing around with their arms in the air. You get back, get a tackle in, THEN you worry about whether it was offside.
When you're down to 10 men you DO NOT make all of your substitutions with 45 minutes to play. That's asking for trouble - and guess what - we got it.
Warnock's hoofball belongs in the dim and distant past. With a bit of luck he'll be history very soon.
Can't believe anyone is still backing Warnock.

I think everyone is over reacting. We are only 7 points off the play offs. Bates is clearly on his way out and investment is on its way we have some good youth and a good team base. With 4 or 5 exciting players with a bit more flare abd imagination we won't be that far off where we need to be. Is fans just need to keep the faith and not get on everyone's backs. That result is extremely flattering for Watford and they just had too much space. I have faith that we will still get play offs.

We ran out of subs because, with 10 men, Warnock used all our subs with 45 minutes left on the clock. That was irresponsible in the extreme.
I've been posting 'Going Nowhere Under Warnock' for many months - usually to a string of abusive responses of abuse from people on here mostly posting drivel like 'In Warnock We Trust'. Can't you see how dated his approach is? He's a dreadful manager whose recent record is mostly very poor (QPR aside). His successes, such as they were, were in the long-ball past. Football moved on, Warnock didn't, and some of us understood enough about the modern game to see this coming.
I also posted 'be careful what you wish for' when people were calling for the head of our last, rather better, manager, who never had a 2m pre-season transfer budget but still took us to 7th in this league. Well, you got what you wished for and look where it got us.

The night is always darkest before the dawn. Losing 6-1 at home to a below average team like Watford demonstrates the level of investment required in this team. A minimum of 5 new signings in January of quality, followed by another 10 in the summer (likely we won't get promoted). A decade of this appalling dross, results like 6-4, 7-3, 5-0, 6-1....what a joke. Let's hope this result/performance demonstrates the work needed by GFH and prevents them thinking they can muddle through with a few cheap signings. Hope this is a watershed moment, otherwise this season could quickly descend into a relegation campaign. I've just about seen every Championship club play this year, I would say we are the worst team in the league by a country mile.

I'm fed of with Warnock. The worst run of form in a very long time has seen my confidence in him plummet. How the hell did he achieve so much with other clubs in the past; he appears to me as though he has no managerial knowledge at all. Starting Varney over Becchio is madness!
Plenty of other managers have formed very successful teams with close to no money (for example Dougie Freedman at Crystal Palace), so lack of investment is not an excuse he can continue to use in order to disguise his errors. Results aren't going to get any better looking at our fixtures. Millwall, Palace and Leicester are our next three, and I would be very surprised if we picked up any points from these extremely in form sides. Times ahead look dark I'm sorry to say.

I believe the uncertainty around the club at boardroom level for years, which the fans have felt too, gives so much depression. This affected the last squad and its got to this lot too. I know they are all bargain buys however other teams play well and confidently with low value players. Funny thing is I can't see GFH making a massive difference, they hardly sound awash with recent success.

If this takeover is going to happen it needs to happen soon,why kenny and not ashdown? why varney and not beccio? why bring on brown at half time is what people ask,well i will tell you,warnock was looking for a DRAW! i love the club i have supported them for 40yrs,but again there is no stability .we can all blame bates,but he dont pick the side? We have to be honest most of this team are not good enough to play in the championship,we are as i write currently 2-0 down to Watford again a much smaller club than ourselves, but have had recent change of ownership and the chairman has provided necessary funds to build a very useful squad, When we get the investment we have to hope that they are very significant funds which can completely change the squad, the problem is that a lot of players we would now like to get rid of are on contracts and will be difficult to shift, therefore we will have to keep them at the club and pay their wages and incur the cost of paying them as well as the new players who of course due to them being hopefully of a much higher standard will demand high wages. I believe that the following players are not good enough to play regulary, they are Brown,White, Becchio,Tonge,Kenny,Norris, Varney and Kisnorbo that is 8 we clearly need a bigger squad anyway so i think we need 10 players between now and January some on loan immediately and the others to be purchased in January.There is no point having loads of loan players because 1. you can only play a certain number at one time and 2. players here permanently will be better in the long term to build team spirit and know they will be staying long term
I know fans will not agree with Becchio but his game is very limited he can not play when he has to go forward, of course he will get some goals but his all round play makes him in my opinion not the player we need to get us into the playoffs.
The questions left are whether Warnock thinks the same about his current squad, and what 10 players can we get hold of, if we dont we will be mid table at best this season, and now it is 4-1 to Watford another great Saturday so i better finish before it gets worse
Really good I completely agree we need to sign at least six new people now and at January to have any chance of getting into the play offs this year

What we see here is the sum total of a decade of Bates is shafting our club. The lack of talent on the field is appauling. Ok going down to 10 men will make it difficult but dont understate the damage done by him. We have had some fantastic players at this club which could have got us out of this division a long time ago. Bates has imposed a wage structure which ensures we cannot compete with any serious contender in this division. At present the only way we will leave this division is by relegation. Bates and gfh provaricating over the takeover is a massive worry. It has been 'imminent' and 'only days away' for months now. Utter fiasco. I no longer have any belief we can turn this season around. The players need an urgent lift and it seems NW is unable to provide that at present.
What money on us talking about an 'imminent' takeover in jan?!

Solution, probably gonna cost GFH twice as much as they thought on players, plus the manager seems devoid of the ability to ' dig in and keep in touch', somebody has to be accountable.
