Well first away game for me for about three years and what a game. Credit to the whole team, gave 110% Played two of the fancied teams and bossed them both. Two of the best midfields in the division were nullified. All heroes tonight and kept going to the end. Young Shackleton as well did his bit. In the Merlin before game and a couple of Derby fans reckoned our style would suit them and they would kill us on the break. Could not find them after game, probably threw themselves int Derwent. Hope we have enough players to keep this up all season as i think any team will find it hard to stop us scoring. Defence were like terriers, some mistakes but they were onto everything. Onwards and upwards.

Totally agree, just got back. Derby fans reckon that they’ve played the best team in the division and that we’re this years Wolves. Let’s hope that they are right and that we get protection from the ref when we play against the likes of Millwall as they’re bound to try and take players like Saiz and Roofe out by fair means or foul. Things are looking good and we’re getting rave reviews from the unlikeliest of sources.

Just watched the Sky short docu on Leeds. I believe Victor Orta has been wrongly vilified. He admitted he made mistakes but showed me that he cares about the club and what they are trying to achieve. Its not often i can use the word integrity in our sport but this man has it of that i have little doubt. MOT.

George. Dint think he’s up too that standard at the minute either. So funny too hear his comments last week saying all what needed changed at Leeds United and all that was wrong behind the scenes. Obviously didn’t mention he was clueless and couldn’t manage the players at his disposal. A world class coach seems too make s difference. Not some boyo down the road for pennies.

May seem an odd statement but I think MBs real test comes next Saturday!
So far we've played two teams who have un-successfully tried to go toe to toe with us. Next week I expect a team who'll be delighted to take a point and will play accordingly.
I have no reason to believe MBs tactics won't pass that test but it will be interesting to see how he lines us up and if he changes anything.

A fantastic unbelievable win tonight, seems to be a new found spirit in the team. First Yorkshire Derby next week, so let's carry on from this as these games have been difficult for us in the past.

Be interesting, we have the cup game during the week as well, I would imagine that there would be some changes for that, Saiz, Hernandez Roofe, might get a rest.

I would imagine that a lot of sides are going to be thinking about how best to deal with us. Problem with just sitting back for 90 mins is that if you concede a goal then the whole plan has to change. Even if they stifle the creativity, easy to see us getting a goal from a set piece.

Agree about defence, think we do need Pontus back in there and Berardi giving us cover from the bench. If Douglas and Ayling are forward, Phillips really does need to hold back. At 3/ 1 and 4/ 1 we look more comfortable but with only 1 goal advantage we creek a bit. If we score 3/ 4 goals each game no problem.

Advantage to most teams. 2-1 is always a dangerous scorrlime. But tbh. I think we actually could have been a few more up only for Scott Carson. And beradi imo is doing ok. Surprisingly. I do like his aggressive endeavour. My word. It’s look soooooooo good at this time. Baring injuries. Will get get fitter. Stringer more confident. = goals wins points. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺😀😀😀.

Great to see Roofy getting two goals and mom again! Defence held together by threads every now and again but won't matter if we score so well each game. Loved Bielsas first substitute, Shackleton, great little opportunity for the lad! Saiz back to how he started, incredibly difficult to deal with and some sublime touches from him. Also, one moment where he ran back the length of the field to defend, shows his commitment .

Still early days, but Bielsa is clearly having an impact, motivating the players and getting better performance from fringe players.

Just goes to show you what good man management can do. Last season Klich was a dud, not given a chance to show what he could do. Yes, we're only two games in but the lad is showing his class for a manager who clearly believes in him.
On a side note I've just sold the three piece for twenty quid on ebay and bought five blue buckets for the family to sit on. If it's good enough for Bez, it's good enough for my lot.

Indeed Mick, great to hear from you. I believe Bielsa is the Messiah, he energises players, gives them confidence and belief, takes the fear out of making mistakes and empowers them to express themselves. On a personal note, not such a good time, my lovely mum has just passed away after a short illness, what was kindly loaned has been returned to the universe with thanks and sadness.

Cheers Ed, not too bad considering, she was a spritely lady of 85, had a fall down her stairs and was paralysed from the neck down, awful for her, the night she went into hospital she asked for an injection then kind of chose her fate by refusing food liquids and medication, as quite honestly I would have. It is better to celebrate and be thankful for a life than be sad for what we have lost and how it affects us. She had an amazing life and has left a lasting legacy, how many can achieve better than that.

I saw Klich early on last season, and I really didn’t rate him either. But what I love about Bielsa is he gives people a chance to see what they can do with his ideas. Kilch made the most of preseason, as did Shackleton in a more low key way. Great examples to the other players as well, shows what can happen if you take the opportunity given to you.

We’ve got to fit, Forshaw, Pontus and Bamford into this team!
