Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Just wait till sly cover a home game.and how things have changed, and how great it is to be here, all the condesending rubbish. who cares what others think or print, the proof is in the actions. debts cleared, working capital without the McCormack money thrown in. isn't it great that the club owes nobody anything not a penny. and that for the first time in a long while. and we can call the shots, pick and choose. be the masters of our destiny. I for 1 am grateful, whatever the future brings. Mister Cellino, is doing more than most expected, and I for 1 having previous posts shoved slowly and firmly down my throat.MOT

Loan enquiries for Jack Grealish & Jordan Ibe. Ibe wants to come. Liverpool will accept depending on transfer activity.

Enquiries made for:

Max Clayton (Crewe)
Brendan Galloway + Delle Alli (MK Dons)

Could be the young British talent & long term vision Cellino was talking about :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Grealish & Ibe are both great prospects but not sure they are what we need. We seriously lack any leaders at the moment

If Berardi is a right back and we are in negotiations to buy him does anyone else think it's possible that Byram could be utilised as a right midfielder?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hopefully, he is great going forward and has the energy to cover for the right back

Hope so. His talent is wasted at full back

M C talks to BBC in regard to Leeds almost being debt free .
He has held a board meeting and a figure of 10 plus mil of historic debt is being repaid .
Once this is concluded he will start talks to buy back E R.
No wonder the guys been looking at cutting things, I do a gut feeling that he was not aware how much debt etc the club was in .
my gut feeling is that his intentions are for the best, hopefully are new look team will better than hoped and he can build on that .

3 classic quotes MC gave - you've got to love the guy!

"I found out that most of the games that are close to Leeds we go to by bus, but we don't have our own. Why not? I would love to have a Leeds bus and I am going to buy one."

"My way to work is to not just sign players for one year but for the next 10 years. I might not live longer than that."

"The decision to buy back the stadium had been made before Ross was sold but now we can use that money for the deal. We want to take back our house."

Massimo Cellino is demanding (not asking) players live in city.

Thoughts?

Getting the feeling that he will be ruling with an iron fist.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

About time someone took control.

I love this guy!

Agree0 Disagree0

Good about time

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a bad thing

Agree0 Disagree0

He pays the wages! I seem to recall brian Mcd saying he wanted all his playing staff living in leeds! no body made a big deal of that

Big financial troubles at Leeds.

Very little of the RM money will be invested back into the squad.

More cost cutting likely. Matteo and Hunter to leave from the clubs staff.

Club will have to cut squad wage bill further.

Free transfers only from lower leagues in Italy and UK.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This post amid reports were virtually debt free and buying Elland Road back, where the hell do you get your informaton from, most negative post I've seen on here for ages, Cellino is doing just fine, MOT.

Agree0 Disagree0

Y the hell you talking rubbish! w have already got rid of all the players he didn't want and are signing players! how i'd that cutting staff! you are obviously just trying to wind every1 up! today has been a great day for leeds fans and things are looking better than they have done for a very long time! keep your crap to yourself!

We heard it once from Master Bates but then came sudden destruction. This time its different. My jury has returned. I love the Italian.

TV was painting a very different picture.

Why has Bates bought the club again and put Ridsdale back in charge?

Change the bloody record can you?

£11million for a half decent player and we have financial problems?

All debts gone?

Just hope we can shift the GFH leeches next.

Boukara is a big strong lad who played understudy to Serie A big hitter. Made an impression at Juve Stabia last season and was first on most Serie B wish lists, especially Virtus Lanciano. A bit raw a fantastic physique but nimble too.

anyone hear the rumour that we 'only' won 16-0 last night because nobody dared to score the 17th in fear of upsetting MC?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Love it, whatever we do there's always a reason we don't do better. lol!

11 Jul 2014 13:21:23
I think the majority of the money from the sale of Ross will go toward buying back our stadium, as MC already had funds toward the players that he wants to bring in. I can't see the recruitment strategy changing much from what he already planned.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

11 Jul 2014 12:50:19
MC has said the money from the Mcmoney sale may well go to buying back the ground. I quite like that idea as renting your own home is just wrong.
What are your thoughts, ground or players?

Massimo, Massimo, Massimo, where have you been all these years?

It seems from a respected journalist that we have signed another 2 players, in the form of Jonathan Rossini and Souleymane Doukara, not only that we are a solid financial position, with the funds to buy back Elland Road!

The cost cutting wasn't very pleasant, I know, but things clearly needed to be done and he was the only one with balls big enough to it.

I still feel we are 3-4 players short of a decent squad, so here's hoping more of the same continues and we become a force next season.

Stay positive.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Its all good news for once . MC is not just saying the right things, now he's putting his money where his mouth is and turning our great club round. MOT

Nah, ssn says we are skint and in desperate financial trouble so it must be true.

. makes you wonder why they want to show so many of our games live next season?

Maybe they think they can get it cheap.

WOW is all I can say to Cellino quotes

Leeds now debt free with working capital of 20m + sale of mcormack

Rossini, Doukara, signed but not confirmation from FL also confirmation from Salerno

MC is big admirer of Matt Smith and he certainly wants to keep him as he will only get better

some kind of deal with GFH to buy back Elland Rd.

ER will not be re-named as the name is special to LUFC

Rossini now training with LUFC

New players are not at LUFC for money

in discussions with Gaetano Berardi but fee is being haggled over

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hopefully all this super positive news will shut the 'doubting Thomas's' up for a bit?

Can't wait for the season to start. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

They will find something else to moan about Chris ;(

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jul 2014 11:34:17
Would winger Djamel Abdoun released by Forrest be worth a punt by LUFC?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The phrase "released by Forest" should answer your questiom Daz

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, I understand that, but he might not fit in with what Pearce has in mind - Pearce was a CH after all, & never really played with wingers!
MOT

{Ed007's Note - Pearce was a LB.}

Swiss centre back Rossini now training with Leeds in Italy, just the paperwork needs sorting till it's confirmed, same goes with doukara

Yes opposition was poor. They play in a regional division across the Italian Tyrol. On the continent, they have municipal facilities, usually very good, and produce a town/village team. The council will employ coaches. The technical ability tends to be good, and competition for places in the first team tends to be strong. In Italy, everyone wants to play. The nearest equivalent I can think of is Yorkshire Amateurs at Bracken Edge and beating them 16-0 would be no mean feat.

Hi ed, do you know if we have max clayton on trial? A fan asked Luke Murphy to invite him to Italy on t*****r and he did. Seen a few articles saying he's on trial with an un-named club for two weeks.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - I have heard he is on trial with a Championship club, a lot are saying Leeds, but I cannot find any proof of this}

He's off to Sunderland for 1m.

Just wondering if Dave hockaday will be quoting 'when I was at forest green rovers' next season.
Serious point now, I know the 16 goal thrashing was against part timers etc but I really think matt smith could star next season, he had a good first season in a poor team where crosses were as rare as victories, will some decent wingers he could become a legend

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Quality crosses need a quality finisher on the end of them. He's improved a vast amount since he arrived and I hope he has a good season but in my opinion he's clumsy regarding headers and first touch and no natural eye for goal.

Given the right service I reckon Smithy will bang in 20+ next season

I hope he does mate I really do but if he bags 20 he will have missed 60 I just don't like I body shape, first touch etc.

Those of you who remember Ross McCormack, he hasn't as yet done any media for Fulham and failed to make any appearance at Fulham's defeat at Rangers yesterday. Are there issues for him to sort? I wonder if he, as Leeds captain, had a little paddy. And speaking of Paddy, as Matt Smith weighed in with six yesterday, Kenny weighed in at Thorpe Arch.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - he has done media for them. He had pics taken at training etc. He is just beginning preseason for them and not fit to take part is all.}

He did pics, twitter etc he's been given extra time off before pre-season. That what my cousin told me and he's Ross friend.

According to reports Norris was decent in midfield yesterday. I know they were amateurs but wondering if Hock will like him enough to keep him. If he on low wages, in theory he ought to fill the role of Brown and be a useful squad member. I always thought the Reading lover was unfair toward Norris.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Norris although technically lacking always gives 100% on the pitch IMO. Not sure his wages are cheap, think he is on at least 10k a week, we could do better with that wage
