Reading gfh lastest blog it seems like it will be another struggle next season, I find it funny that David (I bought a scarf so I'm a Leeds fan ) haigh never mentions how much they earned last year all he bangs on about is what the company did in the early 2000's it's sad to say but I really feel that haigh and Patel bought Leeds with money they dint have tryin to sell it straight on making a nice profit but now it seems they can't find a buyer so they selling bits off the club just to pay the loan repayments back. I really do hope I'm wrong but after reading in depth about these 2 plastic leeds fans I'd say are pretty much down and out! A REALISTIC LEEDS FAN

just give gfh time. I don't think they have done owt wrong and seem to be heading in the right direction. if they were intending on a quick escape why would they be changing the shape of the club in such a big way.
gfh have probably been discussing there plans for the future other the last few months deciding what to spend money on and how fast. either over 1 season or over several seasons.

I for one am fed up with the negativity the season ended Seven days ago and there are now Three months to go before the new season gets under way and 50%+ of the posts are GFH have no money and we should buy back all of the players we have sold in the last 5 years - time will tell what money GFH have and as for the return of players who left WHY? - Let's move on -Warnock has gone, BMD has improved the football without spending a penny that's Two positive moves! - Marching on together not divided

Well said mate. New manager new start. Mot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly. Even with this current squad, a few youth players blooded and 1-2 freebies in and out, we will play better football and finish higher with mcd. Extra dosh will be a bonus. This season will be better - money or no money. If gfh haven't got money and can't find bit by bit investors they will cut and run rather than lose the lot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hooray, no more beckford talk no more we ain't got any money talk.

Regardless of whether we have investment or not I am Leeds fan looking forward to a better season than last, if it isn't a better season I will moan then but I will still be a Leeds fan ( I can't help it, I wake up every morning a Leeds fan). Give BMc a chance to weave his magic and support him while he does, if he does not and he has no support then it is time to stand up and protest. Come on guys doom and gloom when it is needed but optimism first :o)

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree, more positivity please. Really looking forward to next season, new gaffer who seems to have made positive impact already.

have leeds honestly got no money?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No one knows yet, but I belive we do

Agree0 Disagree0

Money or not I think we MUST keep byram to show the fans that the days of selling off our best players are over, if we haven't got any money to spend then we need to sell off a lot of the squad players, to raise the funds, so the likes of norris, tonge, brown, pugh, and a few others can go use some of the youth to fill the squad then get in at least two quality players, to show some sort of ambition for next season,

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds have the money I am sure but bmd
said he was going on holiday and when he got back things will happen be patient

the problem was never the fact we sold our best players off as we usually made a profit. the problem was we never invested that money back into the playing staff to improve the squad. I think byram will end up going in the summer for somewhere around 8 million. its a fair deal for everyone as long as its invested wisely spread between 5 players.
i would prefer gfh to find investment and not have to sell anyone of quality but a championship player with a value of around 8 million is a risk for leeds to keep, whos to say he's not going to get injured and then we have no player and no money

I've heard 5 of the 7 names on bmds list are free transfers?

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't sell players just in case they get injured, why have anyone in that case, we must keep our best players if not then we are doomed before we start next season mcd may be a good man but even the best managers need good players keep byram and invest in good players if they won't or can't invest then they should sell to someone who can

yes but when the player is worth 8-10 million then surely you sell him and buy 2 or 3 quality players that are a little older with more experience maybe around 24-25 yrs old, that's how you become a better squad

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes the problem with that is that we don't buy quality, or spend any decent money on the squad

Fulham interested in Stoppila Sunzu so we won't get if they bid. MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Everything has died down on the transfer front for him so I think we should make a move 1 - 2 million should do it

Agree0 Disagree0

And after all it was bmcd who was after him but due to contract issues, agents lying and work permits he couldn't leave Zambia so I reckon we've got a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently Reading were told that he was a free agent but then his club informed them that he had three and a half years left on his contract, funny one! Though I reckon £1m-£2m would make them sell.
