Picked my Sunday teams as well in the vain hope that I have some extra funds to re-invest.

Evening siblings, on a different note, been glued to the olympics, how good are team GREAT Britain. No host country has ever performed well in the subsequent olympics, we gained 65 medals in 2012, 29 of which were gold. Well, I reckon we are going to smash it and get very close to those totals, if not beat them.

Perhaps the reason they both work for radio stations covering Leeds games has something to do with it. Not being funny. just saying.

Hope this is true and were even closer than ever on getting the bridcutt deal and all that needs sorting is his personal terms. i'd like to think something like that are probably already agreed as he's been pushing to get here.

A very good friend of mine who is a season ticket holder at Bristol City said of Luke Ayling "He's good, solid and experienced, a bit surprised we sold him, might be manager player personality clash, should do ok for you. "
Fingers crossed. MOT.

Bridcutt and osman by end of weekend perhaps? Not massive on osman but never followed the fella so can't really comment tbh. who's this zulte lad from Belgium? Any good?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

12 Aug 2016 13:15:08
both have prem quality and will make a difference osman think could be great in this league with hernadez would frighten any champ defence. speaking of champ defences where is our new cb you know we are in touble when hess is asking to bring back bellendchi.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2016 17:43:17
Agree with you Berm Osman still a quality player esp in championship always thought we need someone with experience in the middle with Bird coming and a new c/ b things are beginning to look better .
I still think we will struggle to make top six and should sell Taylor and go for the lad we were linked with from league one, the reason he wants to go .

Post on HITC site: Predicted Leeds United line up to play Birmingham: Two changes from Evans

Eh? What's Evans going to change on Saturday. His pants? Probably not unless he's had them on for a week. A lightbulb?

Ffs, whoever wrote that headline needs to give his little old head a shake - you only had one job!

What do you guys think of Botaka loan. I would have liked to see him on right with Sacko on left if we are playing with one striker. He would improve with game time and who else we got to play down right. Will help him progress getting game time at cov but he could have done that here. Just seems to me like we limited our attacking options. Or will we once sgain play some one out of position. We get these players with potntial then want them to add something to their game. Sort defence out and let them do what they do best.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

12 Aug 2016 13:07:18
I think he splits opinion, myself I think he shows promise but the final ball is often missing. That said I don't really rate Dallas. I hope Botaka has a good season and returns a more confident player.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Aug 2016 13:17:10
give him game time, I don't think he is up to it, flashes of good play but not enough. think roofe, hernadez, sacko all better and with dallas botaka is way down pecking order so maybe best for everyone.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Aug 2016 18:15:49
Agree bw but none are natural right sided players. Sacko best on left, dallas as well roofe and pablo best through middle. Why not use them where they play best. Got rid of our only natural right midfielder, he will improve, has more talent than dallas and grimes. Not saying move won't be good for him but leaves us lacking again. Byram was fed up of playing there when we had Montenegro in reserves. Unless he is getting another right midfielder don't make sense to me.

Agree1 Disagree1

12 Aug 2016 21:59:32
Sacko and Dallas are all right footed natural right wingers, Hernandez is a left winger. Roofe can play anywhere in the front 4. Botaka is not good enough yet, needs a run in a first team in English football. Best move for all parties provided charlton play him.

Given that Ayling isn't that quick and he is not renowned for his crossing ability I wonder if Monk is thinking about playing him one of three at the back.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

12 Aug 2016 10:38:01
Given that some of the transfers in that we all wanted have turned out crap in the past . Maybe one that we don't find over inspiring will turn out real good? for a change . Will reserve judgement until we see how he performs.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2016 11:12:57
Think he will be playing cb. Decent player but not inspiring signing. Must say I agree with signing players who can play more than one position gives more options. let's hope he shines.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2016 12:02:58
I may have read more into the Ayling signing than there is. Given the lack of depthhe might have been brought in as cover for the back four and not as a regular starter. I can't work out a am at the moment that might give Birmingham a game. Certainties to play would be Green; Cooper; Bartley; Taylor. (Right back- any one of three depending on fitness) Up front Roofe and hopefully Antonson not Wood. Midfield:- Hernandes. The I'm Stuck. Dave; Dallas/ Sacko, Phillips? . It's not really inspiring but who else have we got? Personally, although not a great fan I'd play Murphy but, although more controlled, that's not great either and he's not in Monk's plans. Grimes? He can play but hasn't shown much yet. Mowatt? If he doesn't score he doesn't contribute and We look seriously under powered in midfield yet again. Could be a long afternoon.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2016 13:19:36
you're right grimes hasn't shown much yet we have played two games give the lad a chance to get his feet under the table. wood is a must start for me. I love wood like you love bellend. that last line didn't read right. jump on that one speedy. again that didn't read right either.

12 Aug 2016 14:13:07
I think of Wood thou do of Belusci. We can't watch the same games. I finished my last season of football playing in the Sunday league. Wood have even struggled there.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2016 20:36:24
agree hess and thing is we both clearly are passionate and have a good understanding of football, that is the beauty of it two people can watch the same game and see different things, same thing has to be said about luke vardy so many managers picked him and for the life of me I can not work out what they saw but they saw something.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Aug 2016 23:47:14
Never been one to be negative before a player has put in a shift for us but . Given the state of the defence and the potentially decentplayers we have been linked with its a bit disappointing. Ayling is not in the plans of a team that finished five places below us and comes with no great reputation. I hope he does well but I'm not holding my breath. Appears its a result of lack of ambition, not much cash and/ or not been the attraction we once were.

Probably some truth in what you say Hess, like you I can only hope that the young man settles in and fulfils his own potential, that only comes from within and your own relenting desire.

12 Aug 2016 09:20:22
I'm hoping we have a case of the Tom Lees with Ayling. Lees was criticised regularly by a lot of fans and many didn't care when he left for the Wendies. The majority would have him back in a heart beat, I'm sure and now he looks destined for the Premier League (hopefully not with the Wendies) . Who saw that one coming?

MM.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Aug 2016 11:18:33
Think Lees was unlucky here. Hope new lads are given time to gel and play as a unit with a plan. If some one is playing out of position or with donkeys you can't really say how good they are.

11 Aug 2016 22:29:53
So given our new acquisition who are your favoured back 4? Do we play Ayling as CB or RB? In the absence of Beradi I personally think LC is up to the task and will mature and improve with more game time. CT is still our best LB so who do I guess Ayling with KB or Coops? The other dilemma is of course Bamba is our Captain and Monk has publicly backed him! Thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

12 Aug 2016 00:59:09
Although Ayling can play anywhere across the back its been reported he's not very quick so i'm guessing FB isn't his best so porobably better at CB.
