Is it just me or is anyone else fearing derby, without Jansson available? I saw the game v cambridge at a bar in Singapore while we were in port but will not be able to watch the derby game. I have not seen many games this season and rely on the comments here of people who did watch. Not impressed by Cooper in any games I have seen. Optimism aside, do we have a good chance to beat McLaren ( does he do a good Derbyshire accent? ) ? I really have a bad feeling for this game.

I have been feeling the same, especially with it being nugents first game. I've got a suspicion it could be a bit of a caning, such as 3:1 (nugent getting one and once the other) . Hope I'm very wrong though

Not so much worried as nervous but if we are to go up this season these are the games we need to be winning. They probably should be more worried than us. If we beat them we'll be 8 points clear of them, obviously the other way round means we'd only be 2 points clear of them! This is what makes it a massive game. Don't forget matches at this stage of the season in recent years have either been meaningless or desperate to win to stave off relegation. It's nice be at the top for a change! ☺

it is not as good as his dutch accent! i also fear a loss tomorrow. think they are in form and we could be tired and without players and due a dip. that said i have seen us a lot this year and we don't need to fear anyone we are a good team and can win even when playing badly

Great result for us. Wendies/Udders to draw, us to beat Derby (hopefully) and Fulham/Barnsley to draw and the points gap will start to open up below us. MOT

Remember jaap stam's comments on how football should be played after we beat them recently. Nice to see his football philosophy is paying off. Just watched them lose to qpr. The result doesn't matter though. They had 72 percent possession and one shot on target. Shhhhhhh jaap.

Think we've missed a trick not signing winnell from Barnsley for a few hundred grand. Leeds lad who would have been a good back up for wood. Near the middle of the transfer window and not active enough in my opinion. let's get moving. We will not get in play offs with this squad, no chance.

Another glass half empty post, would you have expected us to be in the play offs with this squad at this moment in time? . would Huddersfield fans? . hard to get players in January, if we get one and one only and it's the right one the last day of January, then it's worth the wait, still just about half a season left, no need to panic buy

Agreed lots of us said we would be happy if we pinned down the loan players and I'd be happy with that and maybe one or even two newcomers remember we need to offload a few

Haha, that post really made me laugh Slough, tell me exactly how we are getting left behind, name one club in the championship either above us or below us that has signed any player you would have liked us to get? . we certainly aren't getting left behind, monk will know what he wants and if he can get the right player I am sure he will get the backing.

have to agree with the more positive posts for a change, this sqaud did wonders over the xmas period with many key players missing. I can't see how we are getting left behind or how we can say this squad when missing players still getting in play offs is not good enough to make play offs when the players have returned to fitness?
On a forward note many crying out for forward, was at the millwall bournemouth cup game. the Wall player Morrision looked very tasty. any one think he might be worth a shout?

Agree frus would rather sign right player at last minute than panic buy. Only need a couple imo. We are in playoff position beat Derby and its looking even better. what's the problem.
