Cant see a call up personally, think there's a few in front of him, 4 England regulars then through into the equation Wilson and Watkins, think Southgate would pick them first.

1. Llorente. groin injuries are tough to heal and easy to reaggravate and make worse. Am not hopeful that we’ll see him til Mid Dec
2. We need more depth. and the U23s are really not yet Prem players.
3. Positives is Bielsa develops players not just buys and deploys players. but the bedrock of the team is still aspiring.
4. Pablo was pissed at being replaced . partly because we were losing. partly because he had a few minutes earlier rattle one off the goal frame. amd partly because of who replaced him who I don’t think he thinks that Tyler is up for the job as much as he is. it’s a fair assessment imho but. the team has thrived on being a collective relatively harmonious unit.
5. With no KP back, Llorente out and Rodrigo only just returning, it’s going to be tough against Arsenal. not looking forward to it.

Point 1 we need Llorente back asap but as you say it might not be any sooner than Mid December hopefully not later.
Point 2 especially when we have injuries we clearly need more depth
Point 3 the positives also have been without a shadow of a doubt Bamford and his goals. But the team need all the other players to contribute with goals and assists too. That's where we miss King Pablo every season he has contributed with lots of goals and assists. We need more goals and assists from Costa, Harrison, Rodrigo, Raphina, Klich, KP . goals from the defence at corners heaven forbid!
Point 4 you are absolutely spot on re Pablo . Bravo Toronto.
Point 5 I think it's vital that the players grind out at least a draw against Arsensl which will help regain some vital self confidence and momentum. Hopefully KP. and Llorente are playing for Leeds asap with Rodrigo as we really need our best players.

Question for U23 expert Spanish and anyone else.
I wonder which (if any ) of our current youth set up will actually make it and come through to be regulars in the first team?
Geldherdt? Shackleton? (He has not made it ( yet) for me.
Its been many years now since our last DEFINITIVE youth success KP ( and possibly Vieira ) broke into the first team on a regular/ permanent basis.
In the past 60s,70s 80s and 90s we have had soo many youth players come through successfully to play regularly in the first team
but it appears to be happening less and less frequently now.

Baz I am expecting Drameh, Hosannah, Huggins, McCalmont, McCarron, McKinstry, Gelherdt, Greenwood, Edmondson and Dean to feature for the first team with some minutes before the end of 2021. Who makes it and takes their opportunity difficult to predict as many factors involved. I still maintain it was a mistake to permit Corberan's departure.

I keep hearing that Bielsa is known for bringing through into the first team, developing and improving young players.
Bielsa has certainly improved KP hopefully he can do the same for the likes of MacAlmont and others.

Baz I'd say the brightest prospect is Gelhardt but anything can happen. Youth players can surprise and disappoint as they mature. Nearly a decade ago we had a lad billed as the next John Giles. He was released and after more than 2 years at his latest club still awaits his non-league debut for a popular seaside town in North Yorkshire.

Just wondering. U23 lose to Blackpool. Is it a good thing allowing youngsters experience this. Good for body and learning but what about confidence and ambition. I would prefer players go out on loan. And I think we have proven already how small our squad is with injuries. If we lose anymore this break we are knackered.
If the upcoming can't beat Blackpool how will they perform in prem. I'm not knocking the players at all more so the logic. It's ok saying the future looks good but just dosent sit right. I know one or two players don't make a team but one or two should be able to make a diff. Just saying. Are we being over optimistic with impending injuries and the youngsters waiting.
