Andros Townsend. Who would have thought?
Yes he was crap when he played for us. Oh yes and so was that Ross Barkley. Oh, and Johnny Howson, Fabian Delph etc etc. I really don't know what we expect from our players.
Townsend had a heart as big as a pea when he played for us.

How can you compare McD with the last ten managers when the others were at least backed and funded to an extent, not asked to perform miracles with the same players from the previous management?
I like Brian as a manager but he has been funded more than any of the Bates era managers, he was given 1000000 to spend on Murphy, don't remember Warnock or Grayson been given that
No warnock just spent 800k on peltier, 500k on pearce and 400k on kenny don't make out like he had nothing to spend because he did and gfh funded them all

And Grayson wasted 500,000 on Pugh
Pugh isn't that bad, and he's fairly versatile. So i'd keep him anyway unless he's on big wages
