Ok here goes, we are not playing to our strengths!we have players who can go forward and take the ball through the opposition! Attractive football? We want to win games but playing around and counting passes is just wasting time - attack their goal and put it in the net! Defend our goal and stop them from scoring! Look at how they set up and counter! It's not rocket science - oh and I have had a few beers🎅

Don't remember poring that! It appears that I turn into a football manager after a skinful! Awesome😆

Well I can't disagree with most of what is written below, especially by Liverlass, and I'm finding myself agreeing more and more with Smitch (especially about Sloth), so things must be bad. I've been a huge fan of MC, and of Redders - and I only expected mediocrity this season with a view to building next season. But at the moment, mediocrity would be an improvement. I'm beginning to wonder if there's an obvious reason why Redders doesn't have his assistant in place yet. I truly don't know what the solution is - but I'll think it over with my vodka (and perhaps some torro rosso in it)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Are you trying to say that Liverlass and myself usually talk rubbish?

Agree0 Disagree0

Smitch. Quite the opposite! I am saying there was a time when I more or less disagreed with most of what you posted, but that's not the case any more. And I would never accuse anyone of talking rubbish, everyones' opinions are equally valuable. And none of us (including Redders unfortunately) has a magic wand

Shocking, don't know what the game plan was but we looked tactically poor all over, the forwards don't seem to have a direct roll, they are wide then central, when our full backs push forward wide the front 2 can't get into areas to get on the end of crosses,
For the first half when we moved up the pitch we where leaving 3 men on the halfway line to mark 1 man, could go on but its disfuctional in all departments everywhere, Adryan needs to earn the shirt, he should have buried the header chance, he wimped out, he is technically gifted but to get the fans respect you have to spill some blood, we need to start playing ugly or Div 1 is calling.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Redders has got to start showing he can get the best out players at his disposal, which are those players who are best first XI and benchers who are game changers when it`s needing turned around. Keep hearing "we know it`s not good enough", "will put things right in training". WTF is really going on here, the `r` word is starting to creep uncomfortably into my thoughts, will things ever improve here`s hoping and praying.
I think MC should invest in contracting a very good manager long-term who really knows football players, tactics, motivation and how to win, this will pay dividends in the long run - Tony Pulis is my wish.

I know you don't want to hear it, but this a mostly Cellino's fault. He brought in 15 players I think, most of which were average journey men from around Europe. Our best players were already here before Cellino (Warnock, Mowatt etc). He is also a crook and has consequently brought all kinds of trouble onto the club (rest assured there is more in the pipe line!). His 'manager eater' tag means that no quality coaches will entertain taking the managers job and his knee-jerk reactions bring mockery to our club. GFH are equally as culpable by the way (but for different reasons). He should find us a buyer (with deep pockets) who will run the club in a steady, progressive and sensible manner and who will build a team ethos of expansive, attractive and technical football (like Southampton & Swansea). I love Cellinos passion for the club & football, but he is not good for LUFC in the long run I'm afraid

the man has done more good for lufc than anybody has done in the last 12 years . Am sorry but 12 years of shat will not be sorted in just 1 year it's going to take time pal so give the man a chance and abit of time . In cellinio we trust .

Agree0 Disagree0

Very intelligent post, in fairness to Mr Cellino he is passionate about the Club and does on the face of it appear to have financially stabilised the Club, there however are lot of bad things as well. Everyone in life deserves a second chance but the latest conviction is far from the Chairman's first.

The irrational sackings and appointments, Hockaday, Milanic and the unfortunate departure of true Leeds people such as Richard Naylor are all decisions made by the Chairman himself. I am personally very pleased that Neil Redfearn is promoting youth and given my only involvement with professional football has been building new stands, I'm not really sure I'm actually that well qualified to criticise excessively - he will have a much better idea from training than most of us on who is actually playing well.

Whatever many fans would appear to believe with regards to neat football, it will all come right soon etc the evidence would appear to be that this team is not the equal of last season's team which even flirted with the play-off places, albeit briefly, something on current form looks very unlikely.

The offer we received for McCormack was I think too good for almost any Championship Club, especially one in financial trouble to turn down but he is a big loss in my view and has not been fully replaced. Michael Tonge may well not be the player he once was but unlike some, he uses his experience and I always believe he is giving 100%.

A sale into a more stable ownership would I believe be in the Club's long term best interests.

Anyone else getting fed up with excuse after excuse. Each week it's we'll learn from this & we'll put it right in training & we've been working on this & that all week. Jeez I feel like banging a few heads against the wall. We need some experience in the team. I'm all for giving youth a chance & everything but Dawson instead of sloth. really? There are problems all over the pitch & I just can't see where the next win is going to come from. We always have a crap Xmas but now we are just crap all the time & only have the odd decent game. Not good enough for a city & club of our stature. Really really fed up with our pretty passing football team with no bite or fight. Can't bare thought of league one footy. Very worried now. Mot

Totally agree, why can all the fans see that Sloth is probably one of our best players yet the manager can't. it was the same last year!

Agree0 Disagree0

The Sloth and Dawson one made me put my head in my hands. Dawson was dropped from the bench in favour of Sloth which I thought, well done Niel. Then Adyran comes off and Dawson replaces him . Niel sounded on LUTV on Friday that he's under pressure.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree Liverlass, the team were poor today but the head coach must start to learn from the regular mistakes he is making. The bench again only had one striking option. How many times this season have we been chasing the game with no real options on the bench. Tactics/formation used from game to game are repetitive and therefore predictable. Substitutions are like for like swops with no change in tactics/formation. If a system had not worked for the majority of the game why would it work with a change in personnel? Today we were losing one nil and Redfearn took off Adryan and put on Dawson. Why not have them both on as we were chasing the game? His final substitution in the 87th minute was to bring on the human dynamo that is Tonge until Warnock went lame and then he put on Berardi instead. It was the 87th minute and we were still losing one nil. Why did he not sacrifice a defender, go three at the back and introduce another midfielder to chase the game? Redfearn's decision making has to drastically improve as we are sinking fast however or the next game you will see Tonge introduced in a four or five man midfield because he is that predictable

Agree0 Disagree0

Second that Liverlass, not impressed with what I saw today.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on Liverlass

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Liverlass can't agree about pretty passing . Our passing was woeful today. Only about twice did we pass it more than a couple of times without giving it away.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can somebody please tell me what bianchi brings to the team?? shocking for their goal you can tell by the reactions of pearce and cooper!! right hand side of midfield my arse he's just a passenger mowatt and warnock have got a good thing down the left but poor sams got all the right hand side to himself bianchi just seems sit around the halfway line hell he can't even press to far forward because bianchi is a liability covering for him

I feel sorry for the fans who pay to see this rubbish week in week out - blame the managers, blame the players, blame the owners, blame the FL - can't quite figure what is wrong but there is, we have changed the managers, players and owners and nothing changes!! When was the last time we won more than 3 games on the trot - maximum of 6 points from our next 6 games -

well team that was one problem they didn't know what the other was doing passing crap mico goes out wide for ball then nobody in middle darka was doing nothing looked lost a case of one step forward and then three steps back . crosses going to deep and then no one there well we should me safe but we're not total confusion a pitch sam gets ball a pace then stops he should be going past they backs and getting ball into area great for one game them rubbish for next 4

13 Dec 2014 18:16:17
I don't think Refearn has a clue how to use his substitutes or who should be on the bench. Yet again he only had one striker, when you are chasing the game you need to put players on that can score that vital goal. Against today's opponents (Fulham) he made three changes all of them like for like when the team was chasing the game. Why he substituted Dawson for Adryan puzzles me when two attacking midfielders would have presented Fulham with problems. The final change a defender for a defender was an absolute joke if he carries on with these tactics we could be looking at a relegation scrap come the new year

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't kid yourself we are already in a relegation scrap!

Leeds have been shocking both on and off the pitch for most of this season. The appointment of awful managers hasn't helped but just when you think the players are starting to gel it all falls apart again. I was one of BMD's biggest critics but if I were honest I don't really think much has changed at all and I think the league position show's that. I really do worry what's ahead.

Redfearn has to go, not a knee jerk.

1. Picks the same team despite losing 4-1 last game

2. Brings Dawson on instead of Sloth

3. Playing boys v men

Time to start from scratch! Manager not good enough and team not good enough! We need an experienced Manager and some experienced players! Apologies for the negativity all, but this ain't good enough. We are on a downward spiral. At this rate we MAY become good enough to make next seasons playoffs! Anybody think we could do better than that is deluded!! No spine! No passion! No defence! No flair!! No hopers!! Tired of this rubbish!

Apart from wats on pitch
We seriously lack any impact players
Who on the bench would make opposition worry? 0
Sharp as our striker option is a joke
Better off with a youth player teams don't know than a striker that can't strike.

Slot is back today, offers more than Tonge and Dawson for me

Is it common knowledge that ticket prices go up £5 once the ticket office opens on matchday? Looked this morning at East Stand and tickets were £37 incl of web fee. Was in a bit of a rush to get my lad to footy training so thought I'd do it on return. Ended up paying £42! Checked with ticket office and they said that's the way it is. Seems a bit rich as you'd think they be keen to sell off any spares by the morning of the match!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

13 Dec 2014 13:46:47
Don't know about common knowledge mate but I got fleeced with it on the second home game, I also have a membership card, which you get 3 five pound discount vouchers with, and you can't use them on match days either.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its similar to selling airline seats. It ensures that the club maximises incomes. The club makes an offer to sell seats at £5 less for an exclusive period. the membership know that if they do not buy them by a certain date - the price increases.

It creates loyalty amongst the membership and ensures that the "supporters" do not hang on until the last minute in the hope that there will be a fire sale of cheap tickets prior to kick off (no unhappy members paying more for their tickets).

the club can also identify trends with regard to ensuring that category bands are set for future matches and what alloctions of seats are available for sale (which stands to open and how many staff are required to manage the game).

The net result is that the income yield is higher fro the club by operating the selling of tickets in this manner.

hope that explains it!

13 Dec 2014 18:16:08
Normally buy well in advance but for a couple of reasons I didn't know I could definitely go until this morning. Don't really expect prices to go down but keeping them the same seems fair, as many people probably need to buy on the day. 2nd half pretty dire, Doukara looked disinterested, Sharp lively when he came on. Too many crosses flying across the box with no-one on the end, draw would have been fair based on our first half performance. May be controversial but I'd play Norris and Morison next game for a bit of bite and to give some of the others a rest as we definitely tire after about an hour.

5-1 to us, glad to see Cooper is a regular now and don't rule out Del Fabro because of his age, played really well with Coops in U21 and looks classy

Id consider giving him a game soon, test him out. Monty and Sloth should feature more Imo also

Agree with Monty and Sloth as well would offer more off the bench than Tonge or Sharp. Still say needs to use more players will burn Cook out before new year. Bianchi also looks like he needs the bench for a game or two as he doesn't gel too well with Sam.

Wakey wakey boys and girls. 10 mile run for Mick this morning to keep me looking trim in my match day shell suit, then a quick trip to the barbers to tidy the mullet before the trip to ER. Looking forward to a good victory today 2-1 (Aunt Luce with both goals after the assistant refs arm falls off raising his flag two hundred times for offside against him). Whatever the outcome, I'll be in holed up in Spoons later looking like a dribbling wreck.
