Jannson may be back tomorrow. Hope he wasn't just hung over or throwing his dummy out after possible spat with colleague. Not a doctor but if your too ill to play on Saturday with no previous symptoms getting fully fit to play on Tuesday is a big ask. However a 40% fit Jannson is hugely better than a fully fit Cooper.

He missed the game against Cardiff because he had a spat with Bartley in training all sorted out though now these things happen onwards and upwards. M. O. T

Not very good is it if true. Spose to be professionals. Straight after signing contract throws a tanty. Mmmm?

Speculation, why is it not possible he might have just had a 24hr bug? Guess that wouldn't give everyone cause to speculate eh.

Its the fact that its so unusual. If not illness whatever it was cost indirectly three points.

Garry Monk said he'd had a throat infection, that should be the end of it as far as I'm concerned. Save your conspiracy theories for other things :)

Conspiracy theories - what us leeds fans never!

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Feb 2017 14:18:44
Well as you know, I'm never one to entertain conspiracy theories (cough) , but there were a couple of shady characters looking not too dissimilar to Neil Warnock and Shaun Harvey lurking about outside Pontus's gaff in the early hours of Saturday morning. So I'm reliably informed. Obviously I was at home tucked up in bed. Officer.

Works hard but not very productive going forward. Would make a very decent wing back.

13 Feb 2017 20:07:43
To be fair he only plays 60-70 mins must work hard as for viera not sure what the fuss is about he as a lot to learn seen players like him end up playing non league. M. O. T

id play dallas over beridi at left back, beridi is a liability and weak point in team, good teams will focus on him and target him to get at us unless cooper is playing then just hit ball forward

14 Feb 2017 07:23:08
Is this a genuine post about Berardi being a week point or just a wind up?

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Feb 2017 08:21:18
Berardi is not a weak link defensively, he does not venture forward as much as Taylor

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Feb 2017 10:34:54
And works hard. Beradi saved at least two goals against cardiff. Way better than dallas at defending. Dalkas works hard but not really fast enough or much of a goal threat.

his goal against blackburn was quality, and when they were warming up for that game he was banging in some right finishes . i know that doesn't translate into being a good match player . but he's got the technique in practice so i hope Dallas' name starts being a regular feature on the score sheet! I also know we could have done with him scoring since the beginning of the season . but better late than never!

14 Feb 2017 14:21:03
BW, just stop with this Berardi weak link tosh. He's GOOD. You are getting as bad as the one from kangaroo land and Wood

If Bristol City can be "got at at the back" then is this the ideal opportunity to attack. ie play Pedraza and Barrow. One Defensive Midfielder. Hernandez more forward to support Wood or even Roofe up alongside Wood. Too radical?

Time for radical I think

when wood was out a while back . we scored three . players were getting into box . question is why don't they do this when he is playing . we should of signed a strikr, to late now . so up to other players to push up into box . players look fitter than other seasons . but not getting into goal scoring positions . no point putting ball into area if nobody there . so come on lads finished the job off . were all behind you

Having looked at our remaining fixtures, I think we should gather a minimum 21 points and a maximum of 30 from the possible 45 available. I've based this on the fixtures we have against the other top 6 teams and our performance against them this season, eg minimal return and then account for Fulham and Brentford away, not saying its going to be tight to qualify for play offs but to do so i think we need to upset one or two and from our midfield performance of the last 2 games I am beginning to have doubts about our finishing position this season, on the whole been a great journey but come on boys we need that final push and some players need to make another step up in level

I think it is time to release the shackles a bit. Unfortunately our main attacking threat is looking jaded to me. Hernandez cannot seem to get past 60 minutes. For me this is an accumulation of having to do Woods work and having no support from midfield. I am a Bridcutt fan but he needs to start to play 30 yards higher up the pitch, he has the technical ability to play in tighter areas in the midfield rather than dropping deep to get more time on the ball. Vieira needs taking out of the first team equation for a bit before his confidence gets shot to pieces. This means bringing Philips back for me, yes Monk needs to tell him to play forward but he has more natural ability than any of the others. You cannot play O’Kane with Bridcutt it is an either or situation, they are both too defensively minded. As I have said before on here Woods is not helping himself his runs are predictable and his hold up play is non-existent. Yes the boy can finish but when things are not going our way he is a passenger. I truly believe Roofe could do an exceptional job at 9, his touch is usually on point and the way he attacks areas in the box, the way he gets in front of his man I am sure goals will start to flow. I cannot see why we need a big man at 9, Woods wins 0 headers and cannot hold onto the ball for toffee. Also Roofes work rate is top, if he is working the back four Hernandez isn’t releasing him to play. Imagine the forward balls he could play with Roofes movement and pace on either wing whether that be Ped, Barrow or Sacko (please not Dallas) But we are all Managers aren’t we

Never looked at roofe as a number 9, probably because wood has done so well there this year. Your flaws in wood are correct but he's still a great striker. For me we want to be playing roofe, Hernandez, and pedraza as the 3 in behind, and then to bring on either Dallas, sacko, Barrow, or douks anywhere across the top 4. For me roofe could do some damage at number 9, but we need it from somewhere and quickly. I like your thinking though

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Feb 2017 10:42:40
Dont think sacko is good enough for us. Douk no good as sub. Agree. Roofe, fed, hernandez and wood are our best attackers. But how about taking wood off every now and then? He never comes off. Push roofe and ped further forward.

Agree0 Disagree2

13 Feb 2017 16:37:44
Tend to agree with you Mighty If Roofe runs the channels he could become a nuisance to most defences and IN the box he could be our fox. Wood has scorred goals butter rarely worked his own. He has turned them in when someone has put it on the end of his boot.

Who else do we have to cover Pontus, other than calamity cooper?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont think its all cooper. Aiyling at fault for second.

Ayling or McKay are next best CB's

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Feb 2017 11:06:56
For the second ayling was, but cooper leaks goals every time he plays! For when no Pontus for me the back line needs to be
Beradi, Bartley, ayling and coyle (maybe) . Could viera be an option for right back?

Bartley was terrible too

Not happy So much bad about cardiff game Far too many back passes No movement up front None of our striking players posed any type of threat. Roofe, who i like, should have had 2-3 goals. Bridcutt was, as said below, sitting behind central defenders. Sacko was absolute waste of time Hernandez at least tried. But. No style or guts. didn't look interested. Monk should have prepared them better as warnocks sides always battle. Very disappointed

How can you say sacko was a waste of time, he was the only player who got in behind them all game and looked like creating anything at all, plus with Pablo dropping deeper he was his best outlet when he had the ball.

Without commenting on Sacos play You have to feel sorry for him if he gets to the by line, looks up and wonders where is everybody?
