Only at Leeds could we be linked with another low scoring, injury prone player from abroad and willing to offer him a long contract, while one of our young exciting prospects is likely to be snapped up by another club because we piss about divering about offering him a better long-term contract. As much as I dislike Allardyce for his greed that led up to his dismissal from the England job, I do think he is a good football manager who can get a team playing. All pie in the sky though as we will never get his calibre of football manager at Leeds with the set up we currently have, doubt very much he could work with Orta.

Are we about to make the same mistake with the Nigerian forward we are allegedly about to sign from Capri in Italy. Signing another less than prolific striker and putting him on a long contract. Surely for the reported £3 million fee to sign him we can find someone who knows this league. If we insist on signing him at least do it on a short contract with the offer of longer if he proves himself. Could be another ekuban.
