I have a thumb down stalker. I know who you are, I know where you are, and when I see you, I will thumbs down you. ! #boycotthumbsdown #dontreallygiveacraptobehonest 😜😂😂😂

Believable6 Unbelievable9

14 Apr 2018 23:01:51
Bright I've had the same for months and noticed almost everyone on here has been getting thumbs down. Chill my friend it means nothing I just laugh at it

Agree2 Disagree3

14 Apr 2018 23:27:08
Don’t let it get you down Bright, you know we get the odd troll from other sites here who do it just for mischief. Your post was both factual and Leeds positive so probably an interloper. Keep posting Bright we need the light this season !

Agree3 Disagree1

15 Apr 2018 00:05:49
It's probably that swadlad

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed033's Note - Don't worry, i've solved the thumbs down problem.

15 Apr 2018 03:37:39
I prefered them there. Its good to guage others opinion. Ok you get the odd idiot but shouldn't let them ruin a good feature. Thumbs up if you agree!

Agree4 Disagree0

15 Apr 2018 08:25:53
Ed, can we have our thumbs back please?

Agree2 Disagree1

15 Apr 2018 09:34:20
Bright you are certainly not alone, take it as a backhanded complement.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Apr 2018 09:45:40
Thanks Ed. I’ve just given myself a thumbs down so all you sensitive banterers out there can have a little happier Sunday. Tbh, this Sunday seems a little happier to me having an extra day to recover from the post loss depression 😢

Agree1 Disagree1

15 Apr 2018 13:27:21
Defo just laughing it off. I'm not really that sensitive! 😜 So have the thumbs been ditched then Ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed033's Note - What's happened is everyone else who is logged into this site sees the thumbs, but you don't.

14 Apr 2018 20:37:33
Just saw some stats re BPF. Since he came into the side only Angus Gunn at Norwich has made more saves, and as an average per game, not a single keeper has made more saves. Now I know that's a bit of a slight on our defence and midfield, but how well has the lad done since coming in! ?

Believable6 Unbelievable4

14 Apr 2018 21:09:59
Yea and I'll admit I was sceptical about him when he first went in but he's put our others to shame

Agree2 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 21:40:38
He has done brilliantly well and surprised a few people. I would have no qualms about him being No1 keeper next season

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 21:41:48
After his loan spell at York, I was too Martyn. Glad to be proved wrong!

Agree2 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 21:57:09
Maybe the same can be said of Pearce and O'Connor. Time for one more please.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 22:17:03
Agree 100% Brightwhite, he has been a massive plus in a very bad season.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 23:03:14
Oconner looks good just needs to beef up a bit. I'll put him on my diet, should do the trick

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Apr 2018 05:59:31
He has really stepped up to the Mark, seems to have a good attitude as well. A rare positive in a dire season.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2018 09:11:11
Should have been involved in first team a long time ago. Would expect to see Machuca, Dalby and Sarkic involved next season if we are serious about about bringing young ones through. Pearce in my view has earned his place and will only improve. Not sure Paudi is ready for a full season. Players like Clarke, Rey, KunT, Strujik, should have a role in cup games to test how good they are. nsley players All depends on who comes and who goes in summer. If its true we are looking at three Barnsley players think this 5 year plan might last forever.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 20:14:55
Only beat 1_0 by villa, maybe there's still a chance of the play offs lol

Believable5 Unbelievable3

14 Apr 2018 20:34:06
Errrrmmm. The dream is still alive?

Agree1 Disagree2

14 Apr 2018 20:41:38
Don't be silly Martyn, there's more chance of Barnsley taking a leap in the direction of safety in the next ten days. oh

We’re leeds and we’re always living the dream

14 Apr 2018 23:04:40
Time to lighten up guys, seasons over and look on the bright side it can't be any worse next season

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Apr 2018 10:32:37
Really hope it doesn't get any worse!

Agree0 Disagree1

15 Apr 2018 11:11:46
Again, don't we always seem to live in hope Brighty

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 20:00:20
One thing that has worried me a bit about PH is that apart from bringing a few youngsters in, which a massive positive although injuries may have played their part, he hasn't really made any drastic changes. Pretty much the same formation and same core players even though we're getting played off the park. They may be good players in bad form which is why he's sticking with them, but even so such a run of poor performances requires something to change otherwise it's just the definition of insanity

Believable4 Unbelievable2

14 Apr 2018 20:17:52
Good observation OLeary. Think it boils down to the same problem TC had. We brought in players to play a certain way / style, and as many say on here, there's no plan B, because we don't currently have the right / versatile players for a plan B.

Agree0 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 20:41:27
Not much of a Plan A either!

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 21:06:07
So why appoint a limited hoofball manager when we clearly don't have the players for that style of play?

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 21:43:30
Don't think he wants to play hoofball, not based on what I've watched, anyway?

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 23:06:50
To be honest bright I don't think he knows what style he wants to play his self. Not with what we have the squads too mish mashed

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 19:35:03
Congratulations to Wolves and their supporters, well deserved and by far the most consistent team in The Championship this season. You see Radz this is where being ambitious gets you and having Orta gets you nowhere!

Believable6 Unbelievable2

14 Apr 2018 20:10:39
The difference is luck. Their owner happens to be pals with Mendes, allowing them to sign players and managers who normally wouldn't give them one look.

Agree0 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 20:20:55
Yep. They play some great football, and have walked it! We just need a "super agent" instead of Orta! I wonder what reception they will get in the PL? I read that clubs are already discussing their use of agents? Could be an interesting one!

Agree1 Disagree1

15 Apr 2018 11:09:09
Wolves have been creative with their use of players from the said super agent, maybe a bit dubious 3rd party ownership etc. The fact that a club can post up to 39 million in loses over a 3 year period and owners can get away with making loans to the club can get around the financial care play. It's the system that allows this and that what needs looking into. At worst a team can go for broke to reach the prem, once there find the football authorities give them a nominal fine. I say fair play to Wolves, no sour grapes. If our owner had contacts as good would any of us be crying foul.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 19:33:35
To me it’s no surprise to see Barnsley doing better since Rockbottom left and Leeds going nowhere! Just another confusing fact that beggars belief as to why we paid £500,000 for the pleasure!

Believable8 Unbelievable3

14 Apr 2018 21:11:50
Mikewoody no bright light on that one mate, true as always,

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 19:00:59
Remind me. Who's the guy Fulham signed in the January window when we were told no decent strikers were available?

Believable7 Unbelievable2

14 Apr 2018 19:20:09
I honestly believe that we should’ve signed coutinho when we had the chance

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I dunno, he obviously wouldn't have been good enough, have you not noticed how much better Liverpool have got without him? Clearly the lad was holding them back....#anchor

14 Apr 2018 19:49:08
I dunno. Coutinho hasn't done it on a Tuesday night in Burton.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - spot on mate.}

14 Apr 2018 18:51:09
It's almost time for player of the season. Who would you vote in your top 3? Mine would be Pablo, bpf then maybe saiz in third. 🤔

Believable2 Unbelievable2

14 Apr 2018 20:10:38
It's hard to pick 3 Lucas. Bpf alioski (that will divide opinion) siaz

Agree0 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 20:28:41
After "gobbing gate" I don't think Saiz can be there guys. I'd go Pablo, Alioski, then BPF, with the latter guaranteed to take the young player award. Think Alioski has been number one for effort and attitude all season. (Now, that's how to divide opinion Martyn! )

Agree1 Disagree2

14 Apr 2018 21:01:40
Mirror category "winners". 3rd place Cooper. 2nd place Grot. Winner Wiedwald. Prize? A night out in a Beeston alley with no mobile phone.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 21:44:26
Winners Award for Naff Keeper, Er Really? (or W. for short) of the season must go to.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 22:04:00
A rather empty award this year should maybe miss a year.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 22:20:46
Or maybe first prize should be a football! one each so they learn what it’s for and what to do with it!

Agree0 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 18:34:31
TC win rate in Championship 42.9%. Gary Rowett 39.6% at Birmingham and 42.6% at Derby, Lee Johnson 40.3% at Bristol City. Why was TC sacked and the other two are raved over as great managers?

Believable8 Unbelievable2

14 Apr 2018 20:12:24
Cos if left that rate would have prob been well mower by now. I liked tc he was a real nice guy but seemed lost by the end sg

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 20:29:56
SG, Martyn, I'd have obviously "given him more time"!

Agree1 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 21:08:08
He turned it around after the previous bad run, so why couldn't he have done it again? We'd have finished 8/9 under TC, whereas PH we'll be 17th.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 21:49:02
I didn't agree with TC getting the chop. My sarcasm was obvs lost in text. It was a bad decision to let him go, but my point still stands; we have the type of players who cannot play another style of football. In the championship, sometimes, hoofball does work. We need to be able to mix it up, which we can't do at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 23:07:34
Saying TC didn't deserve the sack doesn't mean I don't want PH to get longer. He needs to go asap.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 17:52:35
Fulham going for promotion in a huge game and local derby and no atmosphere. Why do teams with crap fans always get good teams?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

14 Apr 2018 19:09:58
They have owners who invest in better quality players.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 15:47:56
Barnsley winning again. I thought they'd struggle without Hecky the genius?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

14 Apr 2018 16:37:56
Yes he can keep Barnsley up next week.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 18:00:57
Would prefer to see Brum go down over Barnsley or Bolton personally.

Agree2 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 18:07:34
I'm torn. Barnsley have a billionaire sugar daddy, so will spend fortunes and probably over take us. Birmingham will sign Pablo and Bartley if they stay up.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 20:32:07
I only wanna see Brum go because their fans revelled in our demise.

Agree1 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 21:09:17
Didn't everyone?

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 21:50:40
True SG. As you'd expect. I just remember at the time reading loads of carp from brum fans on 606.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2018 09:43:59
If Brum need 4 points and a snooker on the last day of the season they always find a way. Would love them to go down but in all honestly can see Barnsley being the one of the 3, and Brum and Bolton safe.

Let's be honest I'd only keep these guys from first team senior squad next season BPF Jansson Ayling berardi Viera Dallas Hernandez Foreshaw, Roofe there's maybe some u23 that I haven't seen enough of and Tyler Roberts is we don't know about really . We lucked out with him, u never know he could of been the goal scorer we needed

Went to a pub quiz last night and recorded the game but it failed to record. I would normally be cursing and proper pixxed off, but this is how disinterested i was, i went to bed. But i do remember one of the questions at the quiz; what team has only won 2 games since Boxing day? Everyone knew the answer🤣 Radz needs a total revamp of the squad at least 6 decent champ players and a new manager.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

14 Apr 2018 09:29:19
Yet again we are in need of a total revamp . we didn’t last season though, we needed to keep monk and build on our Relative success

Agree3 Disagree2

14 Apr 2018 11:11:11
All of which begs the question why is Radz putting up with Orta and his inept signings a few quality signings added to what we had last season and we would have been challenging between them Radz and co have ruined our team whe our youngsters come in and out perform most of Ortas signigs speaks volumes so another rebuild needed don't believe the current set up or manager is up to the job can't Radz see what we can or what very disappointed c'mon Heck put all the under 23s in Ekuban and co are an embarassment

Make you laugh. couldn't sleep last night. Put tele on. Villa were playing. Man they were rubbish. Must be near the bottom of the table. They were playing some team in black. It's weird not being over fussed about getting beat, happy to not win again as I now want Hecky to go. Glad it wasn't a big defeat as young lads at back did brill. We have no creativity going forward, thought defense did a great job and best players were BPF, O'Connor and Pearce. Think we found our LB and GK solutions. O'connor will be good but I would still go all out to keep Pontus ( unless we can get 15mil for him) ? And buy another CB. I'd send back penn, he caught out for goal, needs to jump and head it? When we get ailing and Coyle back, could be solid defense, but need 2 CB's if Pontus goes. I think Hecky should have played roofe and Phillips tonight! Roofe is crap and losing faith with Ekuban, a sub at best but still feel he could come good eventually. Get rid of lassoga and Grot and invest in decent striker ( beraheno from stoke? ) We never look like scoring but improved in 2nd half with saiz, he could be a hero and for me a Keep. He just needs players around and in front of him to pass to, he trying to do it all himself when a clever pass would work better.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

14 Apr 2018 03:38:23
In all honesty Brightwhite mate I just think we have all had enough, everyone who has posted negative stuff me included will still be there next match shouting them on! We are all gutted at how a really positive start turned into a bloody nightmare for us, not many predicted it and and let’s be really honest, it bloody well hurts mate and because of that pain is why the posts are what they are! Supporters are just angry mate, usually when we are on Sky away from home a few of us get together in the pub, but lately no one bothers! I even did my paperwork tonight while the match was on! I will say this though, bring on the youth because they look great and looked proud to be wearing the shirt, so maybe not all doom and gloom eh mate. MOT

The young guns were great tonight. That's really positive going forward. Now give Clarke and Daley and whoever in the u23s a taste in the last 3 games. See how they stand up as I am sure they would do better than what have seen lately. Then get rid of the dross, make a few quality signings to go with the Leeds youngsters and roll on next season. Remember as someone once said . you can't win nowt with kids.
