Donny game is the game which proves we've turned the corner. Check the stats but we still ran out 3 nil winners. Sign of a good manager and sign of a good side. Up the table we go. Zaliukas great addition. More coming next month.

Yes I totally agree! under the former manager we would have crumbled and lost that game in the 2nd half. In BMD we trust MOT :)

I love Leeds but some of our fans don't have a clue!
Come on here and see people slating the Brown for Mowatt substitution and also not starting Byram.

Mowatt didn't have a kick second half after being excellent in the first. Brown is a useful player when defending a lead.
Byram is not much fit, I'm sure McD knows his capabilities and when it's right he'll be back playing weekly, but he wasn't 100% sharp last week and Pelts is playing the best he's played for Leeds.

Valley white. You are spot on!

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on Valley, good to know some people on here actually know what they're talking about MOT

Good post Valley spot on, We are unbeaten in 7 games now, top six and with an improving goal difference.

Here's to putting the Barnsley jinx to bed next weekend.

It's a shame some fans are unable to see the positives. But it makes me wonder where their heads are at!

Great result today lads. Zaliukas had an excellent game in CD again and our goal difference is also going in the right direction.
Can anyone remember when our goal diff was in positive double figures? Prob league 1 promotion season I'd guess.
In McD & GFH and/or DH I trust.

As only Derby have scored more goals than us were obviously doing something right, bit more tweaking the defence and we should maintain our climb up the table, high time we battered Barnsley an all, never have a better chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think a bit more twerking the defence and we should retain our 'getting down with the kids attitood'. godda love Miley. oh yeah!

5-3-2 against Donny very disappointed, whys byram sitting on the bench? he's supposed to one of the best rb in the league?. setup like this stinks of hoofball

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I guess it works haha - humble pie yum yum

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you, l find away from home the job is to nullify the home advantage by defending well then pinching goals, if we were a premier ship outfit I too would be disappointed in the formation but we are not, the main difference between the two teams is the manager. oh and the support . we are building a team to get results we are not the finished footballing article .

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not up to full fitness, thought he had a poor game last week. McD knows what he's doing & gradually reintroducing him.

Here we go again. incapable of building on a lead
Come on leeds, bit of confidence needed

Sam said himself in his interview he's only going to pick up match fitness by playing games. but brown come on for mowatt seriously?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok More humble pie!!
WE ARE LEEDS

Agree0 Disagree0

Brown came on when we were only 1-0 up so McD was trying to protect a slim lead.

What the hell is the first poster on about. We win 3-0 away. And he is still moaning. Honestly. Some people! A very accomplished performance today. Ok. Closing in on second placed team gradually too. Ok. Derby are flying. But there bubble will burst. And to be honest I can't see us losing many games. Even before possibly strengthening in January! Come on my lovely Leeds! Never felt so positive for years! Any one else feel same?
Bob. Wakefield x

Agree0 Disagree0

Im the original poster I was just disappointed with the team selection given our good run of form I don't really want to see us resorting to defensive mind-set against what I would consider poor opposition. its pretty obvious I posted it before the game started (the first post is mine as well) clearly I was wrong today

Agree0 Disagree0

Completely agree Bob, I'm buzzing at the moment! Some people whinge when there's nothing to whinge about. MOT

Thinking about the January transfer window, I can't see there bring much movement because we have so many players on a fair bit of money that aren't used at all!
Players with deals expiring in the summer are:
Varney
Diouf
Green
Pugh
Brown
Ashdown
Drury
All those added together I would reason comes to around about £36+ a week, that should give us the opportunity to strengthen in the summer, even if it just two signings, they'd be big ones!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hardly ever used?

Pugh - starting lineup
Varney - rarely in the squd
Green - injured
Brown - bench
Drury - injured
Ashdown - injured
Diouf - not training much after injury and on leave.

It's not like they are sitting around TA not being used, there are proper reasons for them not being used.

The only player I can think of picking up decent wages and not getting a sniff near the team is David Norris and you didn't even mention him.

Crmd

Agree0 Disagree0

Norris contract does not expire until the next season

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm talking about players that have contracts expiring this year. Pugh has come in recently but the rest of them have made very few appearances this season and if we strengthened appropriately, we wouldn't need them at all.

I'm thinking becchio will be 1 of the players that Brian will ask to sign in Jan along with a left winger. we may see another cb as well with as much experience as zaliukas for the final push.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Becchio no chance, in this team/formation you need the strikers to have movement Becchio just a box player. His first touch and his vision are awful. A player like Blackstock who brings other players into the game would suit our style off play. This team is evolving not going backwoods. I know Brian did try and bring Becchio back. but at the time we didn't have a goal scorer, then he found a miles better one under his nose in Ross. If money was no issue my no 1 would be Troy Denney.

Funny because last week She posted a picture of BMD holding a heavy weight wearing red footwear - is it me or is this a hint that the new investors could be the BOSS TONNE RED SOCKS

Agree0 Disagree0

I read somewhere that Ross's sister-in-law, Jenny, had been caught shoplifting in leeds market. This leads me to believe that the new invester is none-other-than Dutch footballer Ar-jen Robben!

Agree0 Disagree0

That is so funny
