Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

I for one would like to see a change in ownership. I wanted to have faith, but once communication stops. there are problems. Look at Notts forest, Alhaswi was all talk when he took over, then it all stopped. now they are in all sorts of trouble, and I think they are worse off than us. their owners think they know about football. My fear is that they strip a few assets before they go, Byram - Rosco - Lees - white. Letrs see what happens. being a Leeds supporter truly is like being a character in Payton Place. for those old enough to remember what that is.

However we will March on together I hope for the sake of our club.

Glen Hoddle for manager. : -)

Fredh MOT

Believable4 Unbelievable17

Can think of much worse than Hoddle, think he could do a good job at Leeds, better than what we have at the minute, think itll be end of season though before we see change.

Agree3 Disagree6

You have to be joking. His previous attempt to get out of this league (at Wolves) were hardly succesfull. They drew a lot of games and only scored 50 goals in the league all season. He hasn't managed a club for 7 years, such a stupid suggestion.

Agree5 Disagree3

15 Feb 2013 11:35:48
rubbish hoddle is a nut, we don't need another warnock.
dicanio is the man passion, good play, no nonsense attitude towards owners.

he would be perfect.

Agree3 Disagree0

Would rather have dave basset has manager than glenn hoddle.

Agree0 Disagree1

Glen is a bit of an odd bod.

DiCanio isn't true management. Passion is an essential ingredient but is far from the full recipe for success

Even Adkins is unproven at the very highest level.

We need someone to be the potential next Revie or (and I'm going to gag and choke as I say this) Ferguson who will set up a dynasty.

(Yeah, I know. I want to take a shower now I said that. )

i quite believe gfh don't have any money but what about the fa checks fit and proper they are a joke I could name several clubs which had these so called checks done and look at the state of them now hopefully a new buyer will be found soon and get rid of the liars we got know. the bulldog

Believable11 Unbelievable3

How have you decided already that they are so useless
give it time we can't have everything overnight
just have a think where we would be with k bates and s grayson
things can only get better

Parallel activities:

1. Finalize ownership/additional investment (need clear plan on closing this. not sure they have this finalized. )

2. Issue statement "The Board has met with Mr Neil Warnock and can confirm he currently retains the support of the Board. However, this is an ambitous club with responsibility to our shareholders, employees and most importantly, the Fans. We expect significant improvement in results".

3. Tell Neil "Listen, Get us a good plan from here and you've also 3 more games to show improvement. but if not. sorry mate, yer gone. "

4 Draw up a long then short list and open exploratory discussions with a well known ex manager of Southampton and a couple of other candidates. (FFS This should already be in progress even if they are just getting prepped for the end of Neil's contract)

5. Schedule a check point Board meeting in 3 weeks to review progress. and every 4 weeks after that.

If the Board wants me to work with them to put this into a formal action plan, I can. I'm qualified and a committed Leeds fan of 43 years.

This needs to happen.

Believable13 Unbelievable2

And who is to say that this is happening. We will have to wait for the off season

Agree0 Disagree0

Responsibility to shareholders? GFH hold 100% of the shares now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some elements may indeed be happening. What is not happening is communication concerning the process.

While respecting the need for discretion in communications by both the Club and GFH. right now, we're seeing nowt and so (probably errant) speculation proliferates "like flies on a gut wagon" as they say in Texas.

In parallel to the effective running of the business, the communications program needs to be equally carefully designed and executed.

Instead, what Joe Leedsfan and the world is in fact seeing looks like the scattered snippetry of a tier III organization.

On OS; NW states "we have nothing to loose"

Well excuse me. state the bl99ding obvious!

We had nothing to loose in December!

We had nothing to loose in September!

So what's so special now?

Believable14 Unbelievable0

We are in the championchip for another season that's what we've lost.

Agree5 Disagree0

"We are in the championship for another season that's what we've lost. "

That's if we are lucky enough to avoid relegation, mate!

Agree6 Disagree0

""we have nothing to loose"

Er, actually, yes we do, it's called a place in the championship.

. we are not safe from relegation yet!

Agree5 Disagree0

We did have something to lose, he was called Becchio and lose him we did!

Agree1 Disagree1

Becchio post is rather daft in my opinion he isn't as good a player as morison in my eyes and we got money on top and he wanted to leave so we got a player in that actually wants to be at the club.

also this 52m + 1 mil for every week sounds like a good deal to me, everyones a winner if in the summer we get some beasts and a decent manager! Got to be optimistic I suppose? LIAM MOT!

I can't believe I do this but I do, I rush home from work put on the computer and check to see if Warnock has been sacked yet, still no. I honestly do not understand how the man is still in a job. Amazing

Believable20 Unbelievable2

Answer is simple. Because the people who are in charge currently won't be in charge much longer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Will not get the sack until this T/O part deux is sorted out. My guess will be around september, if close to last one.

Ah well no forum to get the answers. suprise suprise. surely Patel must now what Haigh does and visa versa, so why doesn't it continue with him answering the questions.

Believable12 Unbelievable0

To coin a phrase from the first world war that sums Leeds United up, is "Lions led by donkeys", and that includes GFH as wellas Bates, we can only hope a takeover is imminent and mony and knowhow is pumped into our great club, new manager wouldn't go amiss neither.

Agree8 Disagree2

Think most of us didn't really expect gfh to hold a fans forum really did we, believe me we would have had one if we were in the top 2, just a load of the usual Bates rubbish, just hope and pray they sell soon and go back to there dried up oil well

I have loved and supported Leeds since my first game, as a liittle boy, in 1974 against Újpesti Dózsa, followed by a very foggy game against Anderlecht and a superb win against Barcelona and it breaks my heart to see the team as it is now with a manager who has no love or no passion for Leeds United.
A man who is basically collecting his final payday before he goes his merry way at the end of the season. Neil Warnock of old would not stand for these types of performances, he would not be singling out individual players he would be tearing into every single one of them as a TEAM. His tactics are non existant and the team really look like they don't know what they are doing
Mr Warnock do the decent thing and walk, you are making an ass of my beloved team.
C'mon you Leeds

Believable18 Unbelievable1

So true, that's why he signed the likes of kenny, tonge and plays brown every week because they know how he likes to play and he doesn't have to do anything. He really does not give a s***

MMM, anyone else think its a coincedence with fans forum called off monday.
i know if thers a bereavement it can't be helped but you have to be scepital don't you. shrew leeds

Believable15 Unbelievable5

Didnt mr haigh put a message via a social media site on the 6th regarding the passing of the person in question.
they have had 8 days since then to postpone the forum
i suspect the main reason is to avoid questions regarding the saudi who is now alledgedly purchasing Leeds utd

Agree12 Disagree2

Fair play David Haigh can't attend. Does this prevent Salem Patel or Hisham Al Reyes (Other GFH board member). Pressure has been building all week, a poor January transfer window, coupled with poor results and a proposed new take over, why would they open themselves up to scrutiny?

Agree13 Disagree2

Why are we criticising someone who has had a family bereavement. Shouldn't be jumping to conclusions. Is it hard to believe that Mr Haigh is still not in a good place as a result of this? I understand there are trust issues with us fans at the minute but come on we are better than this. Let the man mourn and then when the rescheduled forum takes place we can discuss our real issues. Eg lack of communication, money available etc.

I wish warnock would just do one! I'm really fed up of what my club has become, ugly and boaring football, no motivation to play the ball. Constant tosh out of the managers mouth beating Down our best players, did it to because now he has gone. And then you are faced. With the uncertainty AGAINof the clubs ownership! Mates of other clubs banter has now just become simpathy, I know I would rather have the banter than bloody sympathy from a bloody Brighton fan! I hope that this gets sorted out, I want my son to grow and be a proud leeds fan like I once was and not have to follow this joke of a club that it has turned into.

Disappointed, Disillusioned, down hearted and depressed. 4 d's I am experiencing being a Leeds fan. As much as I love the team, the name and the players that grace the famous shirt, talent aside, I feel as if Neil Warnock is not as besotted as we are. I want to someone that doesn't feel egotistical about any critisism they face, someone that understands us, and respects us, someone that actually plays fluid football and not neckache football. for 90 mins EVERY game. win lose or draw! I have always stood by Neil, and blasted anyone that was against him. I can't do that any more, I have no more buts ifs and maybes to give. Come on Leeds, GFH et al. let's do something before it's too late.

Warnock yesterday re Poleon's move to Sheffield United for the rest of the season.

"Sheffield United are near the top and I want to help them kick on and push for promotion. "

NW getting his PR very wrong again. we all know you love the blades. Err, what about Leeds? Morison still getting fit and settling in, Somma injured, Becchio gone and McCormack missing chances and being demonised in post match interviews by NW. Plus, we are hardly on fire are we. Would we not have benefited from keeping him as an option, even starting him to offer some pace? Cheers NW, clown.

Believable26 Unbelievable6

100% spot on mate

Agree11 Disagree4

Dominic poleon said that, always something to moan about

Agree5 Disagree2

Maybe Warnock is looking for his next position, as the blunts manager next season.

I still cannot understand why Poleon is not playing for us when we seem to have such a dire shortage in that position?

This is how I see it if Warnock is serious about giving it a go in the league, Against city he should try something different ie a 4 3 3 with Diouf Habib and Poleon up top. or sorry he's sent Poleon to his beloved blades as a Valentines day gift. Well give hall a go on the left get some width into our game at least try something different. But he won't he play same tactics hoping he may get one last boost to his huge ego. imagine if Ross or Byram got injured in a cup game (wich we have no chance off wining) Season over, well maybe not we could well get pulled into a dog fight. As a town fan put it to me yesterday you are only 5 points above us. Like isaid if he was thinking about Blackpool game he'd give a few kids a go. Look at Byram who new about him. I can tell you all watt changes Warnock will make Ashdown (should be starting in the league ) Austin will come in to damage the ball by smashing it into orbit. In that's about it unless Morrison is cup tied don't think he is

neil warnock himself is set to start against city cause he can put the ball in the net. plus he is young and hungry!

It's 1pm in Australia and I have just checked the os and othe sites and no mention of warnock sacking. Can't see why gfh would want to keep it a secret. Unless they haven't sacked him and that would be financially suicidal!! I'd rather face man city manager less. We'd have a good chance of playing decent football and a result without him. I am seriously mystified why he is still manager. I hate looking at his utter crap on the os. Gfh, protect your investment. Sack him today.

im sure warnock was manager when we won against everton, southampton and spurs. we played better football against these teams.
i think warnock will be manager until end of season and the next chairman will choose the manager.
if gfh were to bring in a new manager now and then the new chairman doesn't want him as manager then it will cost money to get rid.

Agree5 Disagree3

Get Sgt Wilko in as chairman and manager then we can't have any clashes about transfers anymore. He has experience in both roles and was the last Englishman to win the top flight

Or I'd take Glen Hoddle if Pearson is chairman

Believable5 Unbelievable6

Becchio wanted to go, he handed in a transfer request and so made it hard for Leeds to keep him. This is not Warnocks fault it was Becchio's agents fault. Leeds offered him a very good contract which he turned down. We don't want to go back to offering ludicrous wages again. look what happened last time. The contract he was offered was the best the clun could afford and higher than they were offering Snodgrass to stay.

14 Feb 2013 19:02:23
Why do fans keep coming on this site & defending poor owner / management decisions. Alright I'm not saying Becchio was the best striker Leeds have ever had but he wasn't bad I honestly can not see who is going to score the goals now he has gone though & that is a worrying thought. When GFH were first associated with the club they were never off the TV or twitter stating their intent & how Neil Warnock was to draw up a list of players he wished to sign in January I for one was in the clouds, after all this time under bates selling our most prized assets every window we were actually going to strengthen, what happened we sold our leading goal scorer & signed a couple of Players who can't even get in the starting 11 Warnock stating these were his number 1 targets & he was really pleased, complete ballocks if they were neils top targets he wants bending over & doing with a rusty mop either that or sectioning. There is something very wrong at elland road at the
moment & it is ripping the heart out of the club, everybody has a theory or reckons they know someone in the know & we are all on here arguing & saying your not a proper supporter & you should support the team whatever but I'm getting fed up with the lack of transparency & lies surrounding the club our gates tell a story & it doesn't matter if you call the stayaways rubbish fans or tell em to piss off over the pennines at the end of the day we are 10 000 fans a week down & that is worrying
Rant over

Doesn't answear why Becchio really wanted to go. How many times was he made scape goat and long before that.
