So. it seems Mr. Jermaine Beckford is bound for Bolton! Hopefully, you false "inside information" rumour constructors will find some other ingredients for your yorkshire pai the next couple of weeks! Please stay away from ex-players if you want me to have a bite!

So you would not take gradel and snodgrass back then? Mot

OP: oh yes, I'd take Mad Max and Snoddy - and Aaron Lennon as well! Point is: most posts at this site involve ex-players, not many prove to be true (I don't count Pughy!), nearly none seems worth reading/believing! And I do believe a new manager will have to pick his own players to develop his team the best way possible - I just hope our gaffer has a better masterplan for his promotion race than reading our old match day programs in search for new (old) players! A lot of Leeds fans obviously have not! That's why he's the manager!

Im not a fan of re signing old players (max and snods of course) but if we were after JB I think he would turn any championship team down to make it happen imo.

Beckford won't come back, even if ewe were able to because he knows he won't be good enough to emulate his previous great form so he won't rejoin. I personally would love him back but I would be so dissapointed if he couldn't emulate his form and in reality he probably wouldn't but you never know

Any truth in the rumour that Leeds are being linked with 25-year-old striker Niall McGinn?

There are two transfer windows in each Barclays Premier League season.

The first commences at midnight on the last day of the season and ends on 31 August if a working day - or, if not, on the first working day thereafter, at a time determined by the Board.

The second transfer window commences at midnight on the 31 December and ends on the 31 January if a working day, and again, if not, on the first working day thereafter, at a time determined by the Board.

taken from prem league, think its the same throughout the leagues

Hopefully this should put a smile on a few faces, you think our season was bad. Leicester reported losses of over £29.5m (2012) nearly double the £15m loss (2011). This season They also spent £3.5m on transfer fees and £1.3m on Woods wages alone! And what have they got to show for it?

Leeds fans need to understand this, as a club we have never been cash rich, our periods of success have always come about when we have maximized our youth system and the barren years have coincided with the under use, under funding or sale of academy players throughout our history.

With McDermott we have a manager that understands the full benefits of our academy, and it will be the core reason for any success we achieve.

Post 2 you are right all night, we are on the verge of it again I can smell it! Dawson, poleon, bryam, lees. and more! Mot

I find it pretty laughable that Leeds are linked with ready made pro's who have either played for Leeds or played under Brian Mcdermott.

BM is a former scout his record is to find prospects and turn them into pro's not paying over the odds for current known players.

Yet all I hear is rumours that are frankly ridiculous, Look at our current financial situation, the board seeking investment, the manager's track record we will sign be signing shock players & using the academy & for me this is the right policy.

We all talk about freebies - but take a look at the lists of players out of contract in the summer from the prem.

If we had some of them we would be a decent prem side.

Save the transfer fees to attract better players on better contracts.

With Financial Fair Play around the corner I can see players seeing out their contracts and then moving. Transfer fees for most clubs will be a thing of the past as they will either be able to pay a big transfer fee, or decent wages, but not both. ,.

Unless of course you sell the naming rights to the stadium for silly money. Aka MCFC. Lol

Only my opinion of course - what do you think?
