Not a rumour just a thought.

Gamst Pederson has been told he can leave blackburn for zero. Reckon he could do some damage in a leeds shirt even at his latter years.

Just though I would put some players on her to think about. None of these players are in talks as far as I know just something to spark debate on what we need in terms of players for the season ahead.
1 Simon Davies (free) he is out of contract, can cover anywhere in midfield don't have a clue about wages but shouldn't be to expensive.
2 Morgaro Gomis he would be a risk but he is a free and would provide cover in the middle of park which is vital when games are thick and fast.
3 Sylvan ebanks blake would be a good pacey player to have in the squad.
4 Matt Mills everyone already knows about this fella whether in on loan or in on transfer (around 1 million pounds) he is what we are missing at the back.
5 Max Gradel personally I would have him back on loan if we can agree what percentage of wages we pay and what percentage St.Ettiene pay to agree a loan deal it would be a great signing.
There are far more players we are interested in but I know at least 2 players on my list haven't been mentioned on this before, no hate on here but I would like to spark strong debates on the ins and out of Leeds United so don't hesitate to leave comments!

GFH have sold over 50% of their holding in Leeds Utd according to financial statements since taking over the club in December.

10% was sold to a Bahrain investment bank earlier this year. Their financial statement for the 2nd quarter of the year shows that GFH have now sold over half specifying they only made a gain of $776,000 on the sale the buyer of the 40+% was not stated

I am a tad concerned that they have sold a 40% share for only a £700k (or so) profit. Surely they would want a bigger return on their investment.

however this does confirm earlier reports that they wanted a quick turnaround on their initial investment.

I just wonder who the new investor is.
With a 40+% share in the club, Salah having 2.5% (i think) and the 10% to the Bahrainis, GFH are probably still the controling majority but it does make me suspect that the control of the club will be changing hands in the near future.

Diouf to be sold in order to free up some wages for new signings seeing as he is on £10,000+ per week. YEP

How does this free up his wages if he has not asked to go don't we have to honour his contract or agree a pay off

im not really suprised bmd is open to offers for diouf.
what else can he do?.
he wants new players in certain positions and needs to move players on.
rather him go than ross but diouf won't generate as much cash, difficult really.
we are desperate for a goalscorer, pacey winger and a cb.
please don't say we don't need a forward.im sorry but hunt, ross and varney are workers but hardly prolific.
get in billy sharp or maynard on loan,
mills or even anton ferdinand worth a shout at cb.
chris burke or vaz te also.
there are players about to make us even better.we are good but not great.

We were given the green light by the board to sign 2 players so I can't understand why we have to let Diouf go, Norris yes, as we have a surpluss of central midfielders.

I still have faith, but the mixed messages being reported are getting annoying now

Anton Ferdinand signed a 3 year deal in Turkey.

Some good shouts there. Mills Maynard, Vaz te and Burke would all be very good additions

It's because of the wage bill and the fact that we have players who are not needed at all even as squad players that are on rediculous contracts. Our wage bill is in the excess of 15 million which is quite a lot considering theamount of deadwood we have. So if we want to add to the squad we would need to balance the books for GFH and their obvious return on their investment and the fact that we need to comply with financial fair play rules.

Selling el hadji diouf although would mean we would lose a bit of quality in midfield it is extremely sensible as not only would his wages of 10000 a week would mean we could add to the squad we would then get a good cash amount for him so we can get an even better player using the profits from diouf and GFH's fund. This is the same with Norris and drury who would give us small amounts of cash but would reduce the wage bill but that would open the door to another player.

Everybody thinks this 4th signing is matt mills but its not, think about it, its stated his club don't want to sell him, its obvious Bolton are desperate to sell because why would they pay a player 25k a week and not even put him on the bench.now the story coming out of Peterborough is lee tomlin has handed in a transfer request but Peterborough don't want to sell, I think he could be the fourth signing.

I appreciate the Wendy game is live on tv but for those fans that (1) are able to travel to Elland Road on Saturday for an early kick off and (2) those that can afford the ticket please do so. Watching a game on Sky is no substitute for been at the game with your fellow fans. There are not many better grounds than ER when full.
