Stephen quinn from sheffield united anyone

Believable3 Unbelievable9

OH NO!! It's the Stephen Quinn man again! I remember you from the summer. Aren't you going to throw Nick Montgommery into the mix as well? Hope you are not going to keep touting those two all through Jan. We aint going to sign either of them.

Agree7 Disagree2

Haha I remember the guy, think he had a major crush on the 2

Just watching tottenham vs shamrock rovers on itv 4 and that andros townsend starting for spurs and he's just scored a peach of a goal and also set one up for defoe looks a promising player hopefully we can bring him in to give us that out and out pace on either wing

Watching Channel 5 ( the home of Man Utd), Spurs vs Shamrock Rovers. This Andros Townsend character looks very lively, a real prospect. He has already set up a Jermaine Defoe goal and scored a peach of a goal ( curling first time shot to top corner). If we can get him that would be great. Replacing the Mad Max Gradel factor. I get the feeling he is going to have a lot of options though.......

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Whoops meant ITV4. Obviously forgot which channel I was watching. {Ed001's Note - is it just me or is the ref awful again? I have yet to see a game, in any league, this season that hasn't left me complaining about the ref!}

Agree1 Disagree0

Unless it's a loan, there's no chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is for Ed.
Ref was terrible. Certain red card. Probable penalty and other mistakes.
If Refs are a joke managers should be able to say so. {Ed001's Note - it is incredible just how poor they are, I can't remember a season so littered with disgraceful refereeing performances.}

Agree2 Disagree0

I agree that the only chance we have of getting Townsend would be a loan, even that seems unlikely. Ed, you are right, the ref in that game was a joke. Possibly a Spurs fan? The standard generally this season has been awful. Adebayor's offside at the weekend and Rodwell's sending off v Liverpool come to mind.

Alot of people on this site dont even no what time of day it is and instead of getting behind simon and lads they would rather just pretend they no what there on about larry is the manager for a reason and you will see come the end of the season why he's the right man to get us back where we belong

Believable8 Unbelievable5

Very very well said.

Agree6 Disagree3

Sounds like Snodin doesnt know what time of day it is,hes singing the praises of Parker on Leeds Utd website, saying that Leeds AND the fans know his worth to the club,FFS,the guys a liability, get him fit and get shut, not out on loan, permanent, terrible player and injury prone, dont care if he is a Leeds lad,hes crap.

Agree5 Disagree6

What has the lad done to deserve that level of abuse! Okay, he may be injury prone and his last 2 comebacks have ended in tears and back in the treatment room but he doesn't deserve that abuse and prior to his injuries I thought he was a decent shout at left back.

Agree4 Disagree0

Dont think Larry is the problem, but I do think we should bring the Chief back as a defensive coach. If we want to invest in something wise, we need to look at the backroom staff. Get Eddie back as assistant manager!

There's plenty of premier league younsters that aint getting any game time that would jump at the chance to join us the following flanaghan townsend lichaj bertrand delfounso hammill bostock afobe wilson eccelstone stearman

Believable4 Unbelievable2

I would like to see young Zak Thompson back in the first team now he is fit instead of bringing in young players from the prem league.

in my opinion alan smith would be a great signing now howsons out for a few monts anthother local lad who will give his heart and soal for leeds
come home smudger

Believable3 Unbelievable12

Have u had a bang on the head ?Smith play in Howsons role ,he can't run and that's a big problem playing amf you have to have running power to get behind .I know howson dose not always play that role but even in a midfield 2 in this division you have to have running power to get round the pitch smiths injurys have taken there toll ,whith our lack off pace at the back we need a box to box midds .If howson was fit and we played a midfield 3 whith smith in the holding role it may work ,But then again smith would spend more time whith harvey sharman than Simon Grayson .in a nut shell a smith please NO

Agree2 Disagree0

No no no, an overpaid primadonna relaying tales of the promised land will be unsettling to the lads and our wage structure. I would rather snoddy got £25k a wk as opposed to an injuryprone hasbeen.
He was great as a kid but times move on and so should you matey!

Agree6 Disagree1

What is smith doing now?.im not against him coming back but he hasnt played a competitive game has he for a year.it would take him couple of months to get match fit so i dont see the point really.we need quality now not april

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith has had his chance to come back and decided he'd rather sit on the bench for more money at Newcastle. HArdly representative of someone who'd give his heart and soul for the club!

He was a good player when we had him but that was a long time ago and he is now old, overpaid and past his best.

Agree1 Disagree0

Someone change the record FFS??

parnanby did not pass his trial so why get him now??? come on lads, clutching at straws now, if bates is going to show intent and push for the prem then he should back it with good signings

Keith andrews is the sort of player we need to be signing can score goals with both head and feet and his very capable from dead ball situations he's also a regular for republic of ireland so i say get him signed up larry also get lichaj/parnaby to give us some cover for connolly also simeon jackson and andros townsend on loan deals till end of season would give us that pace that where lacking in the final third

Believable7 Unbelievable0

He's not good enough for Blackburn. says it all really.

Agree2 Disagree8

The only cover I want to see for Connolly is a tarpaulin. He is rubbish for God's sake! Never has been or ever will be of a good enough standard for LUFC.

Agree2 Disagree4

Either you have never seen him play or you were high on drugs when you watched him!

Agree2 Disagree0

Cant we get off connollys back? he brings out snoddys best form, and andrews turned us down as he is another money grabber and its gone tits up for him, doesnt deserve to play in a leeds shirt

I'd be happy if we got these players Eric Lichaj, Jason Puncheon, Adam Hammill & Simeon Jackson.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

I agree mate hamill/ Townsend would be good

Agree2 Disagree0

Why would we want puncheon ?turned us down once so he can sod off!

Premier league that could be available to sign on loan or on permanent deals that we can afford keith andrews eric lichaj adam hammil sylvan ebanks blake rob hulse simeon jackson danny wilson john flanaghan jay spearing james perch mike williamson micheal tonge salif diao matthew killgallon who out of these players would everyone like to see us sign

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Dont think we need anymore strikers mate

Agree1 Disagree0

On the strikers comments I tend to disagree to be honest - Keogh works hard but doesn't score and in my eyes Becchio is better in the same role BUT has proven he can also score goals at this level, Somma is a good impact/sub but will take time to get match fit, Forsell isn't getting a sniff for some reason - maybe not proving it on the training ground?

We lack a Beckford type player I think, someone who can score the tap ins but also has pace to turn and run past defenders. Yes a right back, central defender and holding midfielder are bigger priorities but an out an out striker would be welcome in my eyes

Agree3 Disagree1

Why does everyone keep going on about Beckford?

We have strikers who are scoring goals, we need a defence?????

Agree2 Disagree0

Mccormack does a job with a beckford-esque role, just needs a fit becchio and its goals goals goals
