In reference to our poor creativity in the final 3rd. I said at the time not signing Adrian was a poor decision, surely having ta bit of Brazilian sparkle with 15 mins to go would have been a fantastic option!

He was a waste of space mate, just cause you born in Brazil don't make you any good and he wasn't/ isn't did nothing for us and doing nothing in France by all accounts.

So then on to the Wendie game tomorrow going with a 2 1 win. ( Last game I predicted on the site I got right so hopefully lighting strikes twice. ) Think we should go with this line up: 1. Silvestri ( Been one of our best players recently don't think he has got the credit he deserves. ) 2. Byram (If eligible if not Coyle. ) 3.Taylor 4.Cooper Duper 5. Hess's Boyfriend I mean Bellucsi 6.Bridcutt 7.Cook ( My favourite player right now. Thought would let you know that. ) 8.Mowatt 9.Dallas 10.Carayol 11.Woody In a 451 formation. (Also a quick thing do any of you guys read Leeds the Universe and everything. It is a brilliant Leeds blog IMO and another brilliant Leeds blog my favourite probably is WALU We all love Leeds United another Walu is written by Charlie Sopp (Walu) and Rob Atkinson (Leeds and Everything. ) Great blogs good read for any Mighty White fans like myself. ) Anyway back to the point let's go to the Wendies place and beat them in their cup final and our players represent the Biggest Club in Yorkshire brilliantly because I know our fans will. We all love Leeds MOT!

I fear the worst for tomorrow but that might be good as my predictions have been (like my fashion sense) p**s poor all season, so if I say we're going to lose, then get down the bookies for an away win.

I'm not pessimistic and always back Leeds but I've been at Swillsboro a few times with Leeds and they hate us with a passion and to say it's their cup final is an understatement. They'd sooner beat us twice and get relegated than lose to us twice and be promoted.

Right in the Gary Kellys is a good blog too.

Sleep tight everyone. I've got the swirly pits and Mrs Mick has banished me to the spare room - bliss! Time for a wafty crank.

Any thoughts on who the two unnamed West Ham players are that have been offered to get Byram.

Personally I think it's Reece Burke (young CB) and Andy Carroll because why the hell not.

Interesting that Evans is saying Byram might play for us against Sheffield tomorrow. If he is I assume he will be making sure he doesn't pick up an injury the day (s) before his medical. Evans still talking about the play offs and 4 new signings. Can't fault his positivity. Also it is interesting that the new CEO is coming from, what seems a stable club, who buying players of quality and looking up to Leeds where security of tenure isn't that great in recent times.

Wonder if a sell-on clause will be included in the deal for Sam?

Looks like there might be a bidding war for byram hope cellino handles this well and rake's in the cash πŸ’° πŸ’΅ πŸ’΅ πŸ’°.

Credit where credit is due. MC got a great price for Byram considering the lads contract is nearly up. Not too long ago he would have left for half that price! Now let's hope he reinvests the cash wisely. A cb, pacey striker and an experienced cm wouldn't go amiss either. Cellino might need to put his hand in his pocket to get all 3 though.

Agree think its a decent price for a defender from this division. A lot were talking of 8 mill + but that was unrealistic. Premier teams will include add ons to the price if the player proves succesful but they won't pay big bucks outright.

A good price for someone with 5 months left on his contract. I understand that the add-ons could extend the fee to Β£5million. let's just hope it gets re-invested appropriately.

the 8 million was largely unreallistic, however Mings moved in the summer for that figure but was on a longer contract.

I think Byrams versatility is the attraction.

Its alss good to hear that other teams are interested and offering staring positions, it would be handy to know who the 2 players being offered from west ham are.

In all this I hope the kid gets advised properly, as to where to go. Everton, he will be stand in until coleman is back, west ham a starter, newcastle a possible relegatee.

Agree, it is a fair price as we would only get around 2m if he left in the summer so MC has done well compared to other owners who let a lot of our talent go for not that much!

You would hope it will have a 20-25% sell-on clause or something like that as well.

Re reports after our tame performance at Ipswich, I don't think our season is over, unlikely we can get to play-offs but been like that for ages really.

The aim is to play with no pressure, build for next season and get a run going (like the last 8 game no loss one) so we get into top 10, have a solid team who we can add 3-4 quality people in summer which then might allow us to push on.

If I was big Steve I would look to get a couple more in if possible in Jan (down to MC I know) , get my tactics, plan B/ C in place, sorted in the rest of the season, work with new CEO/ MC re summer signings and just make sure we move forward with no pressure of rel/ top 6 the team should be able to play with freedom even if we are at the moment a average championship team as stats tell us.

So lots to do between now/ end of season so the season ain't dead for me.

Completely agree DG and I said something similar just the other day. I wasn't thrilled at Evans appointment (in fact I though someone was joking when I first heard) but now he's here let him do his work. Let's have some stability the for the rest of the season and this summer. Give him a chance to move players in and out and then have a crack at it next season.

DG/ Mel, I wish I had your optimism.
I just feel that every season it seems to be that we are building for next season and that next season will be better but it never is.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. HOW LONG HAVE WE GOT TO WAIT FOR THE GOOD TIMES TO COME BACK! 😀😀😀.

It was nice to see so many of the senior players out watching the kids against Man C. A lot of talent in that team, although looked like a hammering it was a well fought game. Will help the kids a lot if seniors support them more often, a bit of praise at that age from first teamers works magic.

With Byram gone and no decent new signings on the horizon its difficult not to write off this season. Sheffield on Saturday. I hope we get a win but their form at the moment and their recent signings its unlikely. I don't think it will be like the 6 - 1 debacle of a few seasons ago but with three centre backs and a young lad in the back four, Bridcutt and young lads in the mid field, Dallas and Mustapha wide and no recognised front man I can't see anything but a loss probably by two or more. If that's the case we will stop talking about the top six and new signings and start thinking about managers. That, I think is, the reality but by saying it I hope it doesn't happen but that's the heart ruling head.

Evans is here till end of season, we won't be going up this year so where we finish will decide if he is with us next season. Think we are playing better than we were 3 month ago and a couple of additions this window will hopefully improve the team. If we finish 7-8-9 can see us doing some serious business in summer and challenging next season.

Nothing to do with Evans.it's cellino bad signings. What was wrong with giving the job to mark Warburton and letting him build a team.
