Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

I see Blackpool have had to cancel a tour of Spain as they only have 8 players and no goalkeeper.
Now if MC really is god he should get on the phone and offer the Seasiders Kenny, Hunt, Norris, Morison, Warnock and Wootton. Not on loan but on a buy one get five free deal .
In MC we trust.

{Ed003's Note - The issue about recruitment is the chairman (KOKO as we call him) not wanting to pay what 'HE' considers high wages for untested foreign players apparently although several contract offers have finally gone out this evening anyway back to your offer......errrrr.. errrrrr.. well god damn they are players so why not lol,}

That would leave us with 8 players!!

Agree0 Disagree0

1LU - if MC is god would he need the phone? :o)

nile ranger no thanks a history of nothing but being a billy big boots better than I am morron. hasn't made it at any of the clubs he's been at and been in court more than he's been on the pitch, i'd rather have the lone ranger. or even trusty tonto.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would give him a go as long as if, or when, he disrespects MC then we get £11m for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take nile ranger on simply because we seemed to have gone from dirty leeds and a feared team to a team full of mr nice guys. we need a few nasty people. we need people to fear us and having someone who can be a little haywire at times is what we need. look at diouf. everybody hated him but when it came to the football he was class and got us the most free kicks and throwins etc I've seen in a long time so hold on tight and let's see what happens!

Agree0 Disagree0

No thanks, we have had enough negative publicity over the last number of years, why do we show interest in these players when other clubs run a mile? These are the kind of players who impress to earn a contract then go back to their old troublesome ways.

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as he can be controlled then why not. Plus a strkeforce of Doukara, Ranger, Smith and Morison would scare any defence.

Just need WINGERS to deliver the ball. wingers wingers wingers, more wingers, lots of wingers. mu

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd give him a go. He's obviously got issues, but surely if a club like Leeds are willing to give him a chance, then he would have to be a complete numb nuts to screw it up. Get something in his contract to state any misbehavior and off he goes.

"A strikeforce of Doukara, Ranger, Smith and Morison would scare any defence". Are you having a laugh! They wouldn't scare my 4 year old Grandson!

Agree0 Disagree0

Jonny92 - the issue is he isn't Mr Nasty on the pitch, just off it and mostly with women. Do we really need to be associated with someone who is more famous for what he does off the pitch than on it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not in terms of goals but in terms of pace, power and toughness, they would unsettle defences.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bid,

Smith, Ranger, Morison and Doukara are 6'6, 6'2, 6'2 and 6'1 and all built like brick out houses Now you tell me, if we had decent wingers crossing the ball in to those guys they would rattle some defences.

If not, then I guess they could sign your 4yr old.

Anyways it largely depends on the system and formation the coach will employ. We will see

Only a complete person would say that £11m was burning a hole in his Italian suit pocket and was desperate to buy players at over-inflated prices. Best say that we need to redesign canteen.

I was wondering if we will actually sign players from the prem and football league as we have just been linked to Jordan Ibe from Liverpool and I got a little excited by it.

Its very apparent the MC prefers the international and more so the Italian market as he finds value for money here, but it would be nice to make a couple of "local" signings.

Its clear to me strategy of MC is acquire the good Italians he knows he can get and then go for a few British players who may be more enticed to come once they see the international quality that's here.

I think we should put in a bid for Sam Baldock from Bristol City. It would be similar to the little man/big man combo we had last season up top. Probably cost about £2m, as he has a year left.

just want to put to bed about the MC takeover of LUFC. This is all on YEP.

LUFC purchased for 35 million

11 million paid in cash from MC
24 million is historical debt that MC agreed to take on

10.5 has to be paid by the end of this year
13.5 staggered payments by December 2017

Re-structuring of debt

Exact details of the agreement are not clear but the YEP understands that the deal will wipe out a large portion of the £24m debt while changing the circumstances activating repayment of the remaining cash.

Both parties are very happy with the new deal

Cellino told the BBC: "I can tell you I have done a deal with GFH to sign in a few days' time which sorts out the historic debt. We are all happy.

MC is an astute businessman with a passion for football. We should be thankful that passion is now channeled into LEEDS UTD. He sees the potential at our great club. When he leads us back to the top of the premiership it will be with firm foundations and level heads. He remembers the great team DR built and how revered around the world it was. I think this is his dream now, he has caught the LEEDS bug. We as fans have to get behind him and support what he is doing. Unity makes United. LEEDS UNITED.

Great post Spain.
It's pretty close to the deal I have seen.
There are of course the extra problems of Haigh and the Flowers money both of which had to be settled PDQ.
It would be very interesting to see the current monthly costs and how much MC is saving.
MOT with MC

Great Post Hunter, in my opinion we are so lucky to have him . He is a football man and I can see already he has the energy and passion to drive us on . He is young enough to still be hungry for success, unlike a certain old guy from Monaco that just wanted to build up his retirement funds .Don't expect it to be plain sailing though it never is with us lol MOT

Massimo is a football man at the end of the day, not some Indian chicken farmer or an American billionaire who knows nothing about the sport. He knows what he's doing and I trust him to put us back on the right track.

Well said Spain. I am tired of Dr Doom and the Doom Mongers on here. Don Cellino for me any day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Spain
Explain the historical debt bit to me please

Agree0 Disagree0

Historical debt is the debt that LUFC had wrapped around it when MC purchased us. I do not know the breakdown of what party took out this debt but it was certainly here before MC. He just agrees to pay the bill he inherited.
Debts like
1m to inland revenue
1m to enterprise
1m to DH
the list goes on and on and on remember we were loosing 1m a month prior to MC

Right let's get this clear, no one is to stone anyone, especially when the referee blows his whistle, even if they do say Jehova. Its all supposition folks but let's face it we are in a much better position than we have been for years, what do we have to fear? Failure? Used to that over the last few years. Cellino has shown his commitment and passion in a handful of weeks, we were a shambles heading for a disaster and its going to take a while to turn it all around. See what happens when the season starts, support our club and you never know we may be smiling by Christmas. Solidarity bruvvers an sisters, just off for a nice bit of halibut.

Mind the bones in them things Andy! Food for thought, Leeds are 33/1 to win the Championship and 10/1 to be promoted. Matt Smith 66/1 to be top scorer, now that is HUGE and could be worth a punt methinks

Think I might have a little wager
