Luke Murphy. To be honest not a player I've had strong feelings about one way or the other. However, a player who takes a pay cut to sign a new contract goes WAY up in my estimation. Nice one Luke! (and of course I haven't forgotten the immense contribution he made in the latter part of last season)

Totally agree speedy to be honest thought he wasted his talent a lot of the time but when he did use it he was a quality player sofair play to him for showing commitment above and beyond his ego wish more players were so honest

As mentioned by Speedy, it's good to see we are going about our transfer business in the correct manner (credit Pearson for this) but I am sure people on here remember only too well the unrealistic links to players that have just disappeared. I am referring to players like Perrera who we were never going to land but got us all giddy with excitement, thinking we were in for a player of such calibre. Now call me a sceptic, but I think this was a ruse, like last season by Cellino to sell more advanced season tickets when I wish he wouldn't bother. Yes, we may have enquired about the player and made a pitiful offer but I've enquired about sleeping with the big fat bird off of Towie and made a ridiculous cash offer too. Both Cellino and I know either deal will never happen and I've got a restraining order to prove it.

Another new signing (not a winger). I have to say, regardless of the merits of the players we have signed, I am much preferring the way things are happening atm - i.e. most of the work being done in the background rather than via the press. That's how it should be (I think deal for Billy to go is more or less done, and I still think Sam will leave)

I agree Speedy. I think Sam will go too. I just hope we haven't already spent the money that we are going to get for him. Feeling a bit glass half empty today don't know why because I'm off to Portugal for a fortnight on Sunday so should be in a good mood. If I see Ronaldo I'll have a word, I think he likes playing in white!
Hopefully by the time I get back we might have signed one of those type of footballers that likes playing down the flanks, dribbling past defenders and putting crosses in for other players to score. There must be a specific name for them but it just won't come to me!

I also like the way we're signing mainly players that know the english leagues. Although on the flip side I'm wanting some foreign flare, either winger or 20+ goal striker. I also want the moon on a stick and my missus to give me regular s.!!
