Antonson so close to equaliser. all the posts different if that had gone in. lost but Leeds now playing as a team that expects to win . big improvement since OPR debacle at start of the season.

I agree. Lot better performance. Def playing better. Just don't seem to have poke up front. What with wood. Roofe. Dallas. Sacko. Hern. Etc etc. we have spent a bit on forward players. None seem consistent. Sacko has one good game then average. If we can get some goals in the team we can still threaten the top.

Watched the game on a dodgy Croatian channel in a bar in Lanzarote and to be fair I thought we played OK. We went for a point and chances were few, but we played some good football. Probably the best passing I have seen us do so far this season. When we did press we scared Derby and maybe we should attack a little more away from home opposed to sitting back. However, the back 4 were tremendous! Hernandez was busy again and Phillips is growing in every game he plays. Sacko wasn't the best, but he is still a threat. Hopefully our Croatian friends will have it on again, so I can watch Tuesday 👍🏻.

Playing Mowatt on the wing is doing him or LUFC no favours. While Dallas is out, why not play Taylor left wing and leave Mowatt on the bench to replace Hernandez if needed. We have one or two good enough to fill in at left back. I just don't understand why when we all know Mowatt isn't a winger, Monk continues to play him there.

Because Monk doesn't know anything about Mowatt and hasn't bothered to look at his previous form and contributions. If he had he would realise (like most of us) that Mowatt isn't a winger and never will be. Might just as well play Silvestri on the wing.

Looking reasonably solid at the back some positives on he middle of the park and like for the previous games severe lack of quality going forward. Striker definitely required in January together with a strong pacey winger. Easier said than done. Still not keen on Wood, Mowatt is never going to improve unless he gets a decent run in his favoured position (out on loan? ) . Ditto Roofe but without the loan bit. We are getting better but if you don't score you don't win. Work in progress. We seem to always falter when we get a chance to close in on the top six.

Playing Mowatt anywhere is the mistake should be on loan with Luton town.

Wex, that's a tad harsh on the lad. There's a bit of me feels sorry for him being asked to play out wide, at least he's not moaning about it like some players would. OK, he's not been in the best of form for a while now but he's still only young and needs to build his skills and confidence playing in his preferred position, in the middle. Unfortunately for him we have many other options to play in the middle.

I think Silvestri could play aswell on the wing as any other Leeds player at the moment, and no, I am not taking the proverbial? Mowatt? On the wing? God help us.

After watching the game we only started to play after Derby scored, the Bartley miss before half time was crucial, and he should have scored. The positives are that I am at last happy with our back 5 who looked solid, O Kane was very good and Roofe did well when he came on, the negatives were Mowatt who should have not played left wing, Sackho who offered very little going forwards or back, and Wood who did not get into the game at all. I think with Wood travelling all over the world this week, we should have started today with Antonnson and Roofe for Mowatt. We need a proven striker and winger in January, and if we got those we would then have a decent chance of getting into a play off position. We ended up having more possession and more shots than Derby today, but we have to have a cutting edge up front to win these types of games.

Poor today from Leeds, we did not put Derby under pressure until the last 15 mins. Midfield pretty non-existent apart from O'Kane. Mowatt and Sacko poor on the wings, Phillips and Hernandez wasteful on the ball. Last 15 mins we could have nicked a point but not to be.

1-0 either way was always going to be enough, two consecutive away 1-0 defeats our lack of fire power is going to cost us points we can't rely on keeping clean sheets to win games.

Roofe needs to start on the left instead of mowatt. He is far more capable of going past a player . If mowatt is going to play we'd have to do it at home in a 4 1 4 1 formation with philips being dropped for mowatt, o'kane as the holding one and a four of roofe, mowatt, hernandez, sacko behind wood or ant . Away play philips instead of mowatt in a 4 2 3 1.

We were both wrong george. Hope Mowatt puts in a performance today. Strange we think Roofe is good enough to pay 3 mill for but can't get in team. Surely worth a game.

Yes Bige. A Monk mistake. Square peg round hole. Save Mowatt as sub for Pablo. That's all he's good for.

Interesting team news. Playing Mowatt out of position I think is preferable to Roofe? Hope he turns the corner soon or £3 million might seem a bitoverpriced.

hello fellow marchers, glad the poxy international football is over like so many, I agree with some it is always worrying when I team gets a new manager but he ain't really new to them and he is a wally with a brolly so I think it might have a negitive effect on derby. I predict a 3-1 win but then I have got very little right this season so far. on another note got my final two shows tonight and got a lovely message from DJ who will be in the audience will be great to see a leeds shirt amoungts the sea of red orient fans, hope you enjoy the show mate.

Nice to get back to real football after another tedious international break. I don't think a draw today would be a bad result for us. 3 aways today Bradford, Crawley and Falkirk, £5 pays £93 at the magic circle. Good Luck.

I hate playing teams when they have got new managers - no worse time to face them imo. Hopefully we can still do the business and win 3-1.

Morning all. Been pondering my forecast for today's match all week and am not as confident now they've re-hired that Dutch manager. Not that I rate him, I just see McLaren's appointment giving the players and fans a lift. Oh yeah, it will also be their cup final against the mighty Leeds. A few of their under performing team will no doubt put a shift in today as they'll be playing for the shirt under a new gaffer. Anyhoo, Derby don't score many. With Pontus and Bartley at the back, we don't concede many. We don't score many but I still fancy either a 1-0 or 2-0 win. Feck it, I'm going 2-0 (again) with the Woodmeister and Pablo Escobar to Ram it home (see what I did? ) to those sheep stalkers. Down the pints (but not too many as I'm running a marathon tomoz) and Up The Whites! MM.

Always difficult after the international break to get back into the rhythm and when the opposition have a new manager so I'm staying well away, no bets down on LU today. Hopefully we won't be sheepish and will take the rams by the horns. Drink whiskey (Irish of course) if you're off the beer Mr M? I'm quite partial to the Black Bush. Keep supping and upping.
