Watched the Vinnie Jones, Gascoigne talk sport show. Wasted an hour really and forgot how much a tit Vinnie can be. Poor Gazza hasn't got a clue and Jones boasting about his success. Sad really. And I'm sick of Leeds fans saying Jones could play. He really couldn't play at all. c'mon he made Chris Kamara look like Sheridan.
If he was anyway decent, Wilko would of kept him after promotion but couldn't wait to off him to Sheffield.

I like Chris Kamara. So blank, he's funny.

A bit harsh, with respect. Yes, Vinnie couldn’t really ‘play’ in one sense, which is no doubt why Wilko replaced him with McAllister when we got promoted. But IMHO - he - or a player like him - was what we needed then and dare I say now to help take us up. He was central to our promotion in 1990. Tough, physical and noisy - and prepared to read the fortune of those opposition ‘hard men’ who targeted his more skilful colleagues. Is anyone really looking after Saiz or Pablo in that way at the moment? And Gascoigne? I wonder what Southgate would have given to have a player of his creative calibre available to him at the World Cup?

Ps. And sorry - but I’m on the scotch - Pontus clearly should not have sworn on live tv bearing in mind who may be watching - but for a panel of ‘experts’ to be unable to decide whether Canos head butted Alioski is ‘odd’. My 8 year old asked - ‘why did he do that Dad? ’.

Wilko said that letting Vinnie go was one of his big mistakes.

Not quite up there with selling Cantona to the vomits for a piffling £1m like.

Agree manston. Vinnie was important for our promotion and he could play a bit too, when he wanted to.
Exactly Stafford.

And Vinnie only got 3 yellows in our promotion winning season. How he got away with that beggars belief.

Yeah BIGE, another one that used to amaze me with how hegot away with rugby tackles was the (almost) legendary Gunner Halle :)

Loved Sir Vincent! Wilko brought him to sort out dressing room issues, which he did almost immediately by chinning Bobby Davison, who Wilko saw as a trouble maker. I think it was his debut, when he came on as a sub, so fired up, he charged on, caught his studs and fell over! Loved his pre match Hawaii Five O rowing too! Character!

So as we thought, Canos gets off scot free for violent conduct and Pontus gets charged for a few words in the heat of the moment when a mike was shoved
at him. EFL with double fricking standards yet again when Leeds involved

Grrrrrrr!

A foregone conclusion really, we are Leeds :)

We should challenge them over the canos incident by asking for a soliciter and an independent panel to look again and threaten legal action.

Totally agree lads, no doubt he will receive a ban for this as speaking out about the referee is far more dangerous, no, more serious than a headbutt . Any reason to punish us, surely the referee should be done for fraudulently masquerading as a referee.

Any mention of our minimum 15 point deduction yet? We know tis a foregone conclusion, no need to go through the formalities. We might as well bend over the desk and drop our pants now.

The whole situation beggars belief, but not when Leeds United are involved. We have always been hated by the FA and FL since Don Revie's days. The Brentford player having no case to answer was just another opportunity for them to put the boot in. Leeds United bashing is still alive and kicking at the FA and FL.

Something I don't understand is the "disciplinary panel" looked at the game, and regardless of taking or not taking action against players, why is there no action against a completely inept referee?

Oh and another thing, I know that there's an obligation to have a camera and mic shoved in a players face straight after the game but do they have to say anything, a load of "dunno" "didn't see it" "no comment" should suffice :)
