Re Cooper. One swallow doesn't make a summer.He had a decent game. Reading was however his type of game and the midfield was sound, if not exciting, in front of him. Up to now he has been far too inconsistent and the stats speak for themselves - too many goals conceded when he plays. I hope he does however sort himself out. Any Leeds fan wanting him to fail would be stupid but on past performances Belusci is a better prospect at the moment. Things do change - look at Murphy. I hope it does for Cooper. It would solve a problem.

Despite the frustration of today's game, there are signs of a decent side and squad beginning to emerge.
Defensively we were solid and Phillips performance was a bonus. He does not look out of place.
Offensively we were lightweight, I believe Wood will benefit from Mirco up front with him, but Wood has to be given time.
We were solid, well organised and we had a good shape about us and that is a vast improvement on this time last year or indeed the end of last season.
My one wish would be for some pace as at times today we were a bit pedestrian.
But over all I am impressed with Uwe so far

Wonder if wood is just a 3 million pound version of Morison . surely mirko has to be our number 1 forward. He is mobile, direct and always committed

Not at all. Wood has skill and eye for goal. That said, there will very soon come a time to play Mirco up top with him in a 442. Best to employ this for a start at home. Who do ya drop though? Cook? Mowatt?

Well I think our midfield is probably our strong point , Cook mowatt and adeyami in centre mid is good. If we play 442 I guess we would play byram and Dallas wide and yeah it would be a debate who would then play centre mid. Mirko and wood starting up top would be good to see though, certainly in our next home game against Sheff wed.

Normally a point away is ok. so why do I feel a tad disappointed? Sounded like a poor game.I was hoping we would hit the ground running this season but it ain't happened. My earlier prediction of 7pts from the first 5 league games is looking a fair bet at the moment.

Just seen team sheet. I think we will have to score two to draw with Cooper playing. Three might get us a win but it's not certain. Lots of pressure on Wood and co. to score. Hope the strikers are on form.

Cooper played well today. He is inconsistent almost weirdly so. He seems to flatter to deceive and deceive to flatter.

just went on-line leeds 2-1 14/1 so had £5 2-0 at 20/1 then £1 3-1 at 40/1 and double with man city 2-1 £1 at 409/1
