Shocked and disappointed to hear some ‘fans’ were booing Grot. He’s young, developing and still has a lot to learn. Give the guy a break ffs we can’t all be qorls beaters from day 1 can we. ?

Agree Alf, not good for the rest of the team to see it either. We are sitting around the play offs and the season is very much to play for. We are not perfect but we are buikding a team that get into the playoffs . let's encourage and support them all while they wear the shirt.

I don't agree with fans booing players but I would also criticise TC for putting a player in the firing line who does not deserve a place in the matchday squad. Surely Grot would be better served getting some game time with the development squad and give a striker from that squad an opportunity that Grot is currently wasting.

He's 19 Bound to be raw Maybe the staff feel he's best with the first team not the u23s He's possibly the only striker of that type we have currently. Good option to have on the bench. He needs time and patience Seem to recall a certain fella getting booed and he then hit 30 goals and we banked £25m

Posted a few days ago that this guy was brought in for the u23s but with injuries up front then he's been thrown into the first team sooner than TC would've liked. Feel sorry for him, they're not true Leeds fans having easy swipes on social media. What do we want, to constantly slate a player so his confidence gets shot or give him encouragement so that his confidence grows?

Seems over the years we have used good number of young players, if you think back to Byron and Taylor they didn't always have the best of games . I don't agree with the fans giving such a young player grief, but it is those fans who are paying hard earned cash to see there team. It's always going to be a debate, I have made comments regarding are current goalkeeping situation although FW looks to be improving . On here I believe we as a rule have the best interests of our club when we discuss . I agree with Al above Grot needs to put himself about more a bit like Euk was .

If a manager chooses to put a player on the pitch, we, as part of a 'team', should support them. Everyone, regardless of your line of work, responds better to praise and encouragement as opposed to what is tantamount to bullying! Management however are a different case!

LIG I can see Ant completing the season at Blackburn. He deserves it. He could come back to us a much better player much like when Beckford returned from his loan spells. I actually think an Ekuban Wilks partnership could be the ticket. Apparently one thing Wilks doesn't lack is knowledge of where onion bag is. With a fit Ekuban running 5 miles a game could be a potent 442 opportunity at least last 20 minutes of a game. It's called a Plan B.

I suppose I wished that Roofe played well in 3 games and scored one in each rather than just having one hot day and bagging a hattrick. Let's see if he performs better next game. Well won game today but as a note to Leeds 1-0 is never very good for the nerves. Next time go (at least) 2 up before relaxing.

Good point Martyn. Yes he has made mistakes but he is not as bad as some people describe on here, and i'm sure he will learn and improve. let's get behind him and the rest of the team. No reason why we can't go on a run looking at the next 8 games. Then we have a bit of fun, Cardiff, sheffied united, Derby and Bristol, interesting Feb!
