Ok I am sure you are all aware but you can buy tickets for western Sydney game now as pre order. Even though I am sat on a cruise ship in new Zealand with limited signal I ordered my tickets in the Leeds active end. Hopefully via this site all those going to the game should be able to meet up if desired in an unofficial pub close by. I only live 25 mins away and happy to guide all in. Not seen Leeds live since I left uk nearly 8 years ago and maybe we will see them as an epl team as a bonus. I think life just peaked for me. MOT.

Got my tickets too. Followed Leeds from afar for around 50 years and now finally getting a chance to watch the lads play. Don't care who tours, just want to see eleven players running around in the strip.

Interesting stat. While the games played and goal difference are not the same, the top 4 points total for each team in the PL and Championship are identical. Doubt that has ever happened as late in the season as mid-December.

Can anyone tell me what we are getting from the Saiz deal. From what I've read we are getting no loan fee and we are paying his wages. Getafe have the option to buy him for Ā£6m at the end of the season.

Possibly moving out someone who was becoming a bit of a liability and distraction for the squad. Clearly something wasnāt right. The performance on Saturday and comments from Pontus donāt suggest that it has had an undue impact on the others. How did Getafe know he was possibly available? How did Saiz know that there was an opportunity at Getafe. Obviously he has wanted away and feelers have been put out. The priority this year now is clear, nothing should come in the way of that, and much though I really rated Samu, think this is in the best interests of the club . Heās gone before Jan starts, Bielsa and Orta now are able to decide if what we have is enough or not.
I know that there is always a lot of distrust about the decisions of those in charge at the club, but sometimes they know exactly what is going on and are in the best position to make the best decision.

Mad Your first name well deserved then. Chapman might not have been a modern day centre forward but there was hardly anyone better finishing off set plays. That is worth a lot. He also knew his ability was limited but used it to his advantage by working hard. How any Leeds fan can diss the player who scored to take us up famously or is that infamously at Bournemouth then bag 25 as we won the old Division One for the final time is beyond me. I suppose the clue was in your name though.

I was a better player than Chapman, fact. But very few could score as many as him, fact. The man was goal machine for Leeds and goes down in history at ER.
Bamford is sh, according to the mad bald Australian. And we all know heās a man of knowledge!

Always difficult to compare players from different eras and situations but Chapman was brilliant at what he did! Iāve got a feeling Bamford could turn out to be a real star for us. If he hadnāt come off the bench, would we have got the goal, who knows! But he did and with his first touch got three points for us. Roofe and Bamford can have a real strikers battle this year. Great touch by Bamford to run over to the psysio team as well!

Bamford is technically a ābetterā player but so was Brolin
That said Iāll repeat what i said before about bambam
He wants to be at Leeds

Just shows the team ethic at club from the player thanking the medical team to get him back so quick from a bad injury. And we all seen Bielsa running too huh him in training. Great camaraderie. Corky. Who did you play for that you were better than big chappers. ? He certainly put his head where it hurts. Remember he got kicked in face spark out at white hart lane. Needed plastic surgery. His

Knew Sheff utd would beat us, knew qpr qould be a banan skin and knew we would bore draw with bolton.

i know kiwi, every year (aparrt from hock year) i have been conviend this year was our yearonly to be gutted when 'the wheel' fell off. this year apart from good manager i really haven't rated our chances and they contiune to amazing me game after game. not thinking we wll get the result makes it even sweeter

and on that note kiwi, roofe can't hack it at this level, cooper is a mistake waiting to happen, pontus ain't got his heart in it. BPF worse keeper since rubphabka and KP slower than my nan only my nan is stronger in the tackle. alosiki though. he is great.

You are a writer, I imagine you write to evoke emotions and passions and to get a reaction. Your posts on here do the same. Youāve told us that, Leeds would never get promoted with KP in the team. Youāve stated as late as December that you think we wonāt get automatic promotion, wonāt get promoted and if we do get to the playoffs we will be well beaten in the first game!
You are entitled to your opinions, as is George and everyone else . But if you vocalize extreme opinions, then you are likely to get an extreme reaction!
I hope you are wrong in your opinions and predictions and I hope that you start to see it and get on board!

Spanish I do often have extreme views (most of which turn out to be correct I might add) I have said many a time I don't think we will go up, yet the team so far have made me look very foolish and proved me wrong (which I am delighted at, the game at sheff utd i gave us no hope with and the win made me smile all weekend) ! I don't mind if people rubbish my views and have a laugh and a joke, but George however has gone far beyound that many times. He has been personal and downright rude, which is fine but as a Millwallian I expect this to be backed up or shut up. As my last play said 'only one thing worse than a bully. a bully who can't back it up'.
I was raised by a bankrobbing boxer and career criminal so between that and being raised in Bermondsey this is how things are should be done and a certain level of decency is expected. The leeds fans and men of yorkshire who i know and respect are exactly the same.
and BIGE you ain't seen my plays mate, my last play also included the line 'shut your mouth or I will smash your teeth in! ' They are more winstonian than dickensian!

With Saiz going, and I'm not overly convinced with baker yet, Phillips often utilised in defence it will be interesting to see if Izzy brown makes an impact. Otherwise I think we need to be in the market for another centre mid . Also I'm not sure if alioski is all that? Although I don't see him play enough but when I do he didn't bring much to the table in my opinion . So perhaps another winger could be an option .
With ayling berardi and cooper to come back, halme looking like he can do a decent job I actually think defence isn't too bad at all. Any thoughts on possible positions we need to fill?

with Saiz going i think we are losing our best player, although not most in form. At the start of the season he was cital to our wins and everyone was raving about him. We need a good fee and spend it on another pablo type. someone good on the ball who can beat a man or unlock a defence otherwise everything falls on pablo which is too much for him as good as he is.

Iād agree with that Other. Hernandez is a class act in every way. A real professional and ambassador for the club. Saiz is a skilled player who could have been a great. The fact he started at Real Madrid but we found him in the Spanish Second. His skills were there but something put the big Spanish clubs off! Letās see if he takes his chance with Getafe or we get him back in the summer!

I saw that yesterday, he's of the opinion that they will score goals against anyone, if we score first what does it matter? We've won every game when we've scored first. I even think we'll get a dodgy penalty, just a bit of payback for the Brentford one, how sweet would that be? :)

Our advantage against any team is Bielsa, I bet he loves the challenge of coming up against a team like Villa. If his initial plan doesnāt come off, he usually has an a plus version waiting on the bench. Bet he would like to have Brown for at least 30 mins on Sat, he might play him tomorrow for the full games and then see how he does and recovers. Should be a good game for the neutrals and another good test for us.
Our advantage is that because of how well we are doing, itās not do or die, but it would nice to do them!

Great to see where we are and two things over the last few hours epitomise the club at the moment.
Seeing yesterdayās post match interviews how many managers moan about how injuries are affecting their teams - when did anyone hear Bub complaining itās not fair because we have half our team on the treatment table, he takes it all in his stride and gets on with it.
The other thing is the tweet by Pontus about Saiz, stating itās not about one or two players or even the first eleven itās all about the squad.
If everyone remains so positive at Elland Road then that team spirit will get us up. I liked the earlier post where the team at the top on the 15 th December goes up, letās keep that run going š.

I think the team sport is the main reason Saiz is being allowed to leave. Can't see Bielsa would want an unhappy player around this group of lads. The fact that we are not getting a loan fee and no guarantee they will even buy him in the summer, plus the spend of the exit suggests Bielsa and do are happy to get rid off him. Yes I know he has off field issues with his partner etc, and it's best we allow him to go. His agent must have been working behind the scenes to arrange this with the Spanish club and Leeds management's blessing.

I think His availability has been mentioned in certain circles since the summer. Remember he has links to Getafe. Their situation has changed with a couple of long term injuries, so I think suddenly this opportunity came up! But it wouldnāt surprise me if we get him back in the summer. Imagine he will have a real incentive to perform over the next 6 months but he is going to be up against the bigger clubs. Interesting to see how he does.

I look back at my "Rothmans" collection and can see that we have had better defenders at the club in the last 15 years, yet never can I remember having such a stingy defence
I totally agree that it's down to this new philosophy of "keeping the ball". For years our managers have set us up to live off scraps. Even when they had some good talent at their disposal

It's beginning to look a lot like promotion? Another great 3 points on a horrible day for footy.
Positives yesterday were BPF, Pontus, Shackleton, Pablo, Forshaw (2nd half) and Bamford.
Negatives were playing Kp in back line, I think he much better as holding MF, we are missing cooper, before people say we Didn't concede, a better side like villa will punish us, got to get cooper back or bring in CB?
Thought baker was terrible and as normal, so was alioski, does nothing attacking wise.
Hope Izzy can fill that saiz position and we need a winger if MB not convinced with Clarke
We are in such a fantastic position and think with 2-3 quality purchases, can win this thing.

I thought Clarke made a difference as well when he came on. Donāt think itās that Bielsa doesnāt rate him but still careful about how he is using him. Not a bad thing to have certain players playing 45 over the christmas period. Baker is frustrating, seen him with the under 24s and he is a good professional, but not really exploded in the way you would imagine he could. To me at the moment, a useful bench player to be able to bring on and test other legs.

Agree about KP playing at the back Shadwell. Against villa i would like to see the big lad from Finland play CB and Philips a bit further forward. Philips should be man marking Grealish as he seems to make villa tick. Can't see Bielsa doing something like that tho as he has his way of playing and it's more about our game and not stopping the opposition. If we not careful I can see the villa game going the way of the WBA game.

Alioski has an amazing work rate Shadwell I think that tires out players which helps Clarke.
Awesome cross for Hernandez header so he did contribute offensively. Would like more though.

Good to get a win in a scrappy game.
Bolton were poor but worked their socks off.
Clarke looks great again. Get Izzy in and if roofe and Bamford keep scoring, we are going up lads.
Just can't see the wheels coming off this season. We just keep winning however we play. We are just sooo hard to beat too. We work hard and defend and attack as a team.
Really beginning to get excited now.
Good to see the season is beginning to find borough out too.

The games over the Christmas period are absolutely crucial. If we are in a strong position in Januarythen I will start to dream but until then Iām keeping a lid on the excitement. Everything hanged after Christmas.

Think games in Jan are going to be more influential on our season. that's why i am happy we are opening that gap to third as we will probably need it. Our fixtures over Xmas not so bad as other chasing teams playing one another. But i did say that the team who can get 5 points clear of the chasing pack come Jan will have the best chance of promotion so will stick with that. Onwards and upwards.
