No clue as to who we are signing. But the new Rebecca is indeed Veeerrrryy tasty :)

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Unfortunately she's only booked a twin room not a double!

Agree3 Disagree0

Is she any good at left-back?

Agree2 Disagree0

I live in Aussie and I get extremely tasty scantily clad Asian ladies. No rebeccios here maties. Emigrate and bring leeds to the a league. At least then they would be champio s again.

Agree3 Disagree0

'Is she any good at left-back?'

I doubt it mate but i bet she's good on her back !!

What does everyone think to this!
I think it would be a great deal if we pulled it off

Becchio to Wigan for £4million

Spend that cash on
CMS
Gradel
Boyd

I would love that

Believable13 Unbelievable2

Not cms! i would prefer a younger hungry striker! cms is not even proven at this level or the next!

Agree5 Disagree2

Really can't see £4m for him. If he goes I think £2m is more likely

Agree3 Disagree5

17 Jan 2013 08:46:22
if we don't get offered 6 million then there's no point selling him and going through the aggro of finding and signing a new striker. he's still got a full season left on his contract so we will still get at least 3 mil in summer

Dawson hatty for the young guns tonight. Surely it can't belong before he gets a crack at the whip in the 1st team - he's already sniffing around the first team squad. It seems he could be the bit of flair we are desperately crying out for!? He deserves a chance for me.

Hughes at derby, mcgugan at florist, the young chap from Southampton.... All successful youths!

Scot MOT!

Believable17 Unbelievable4

Dawson should at least be on the bench.

Rebecca has been joined by Vibram footwear (I
don't even want to go there) and a man with a
van from Preston (I certainly do not live 3 miles
from there).

Believable2 Unbelievable0

16 Jan 2013 22:12:42
Is connelly the white van man from preston? Hez never been a footballer!

Agree3 Disagree0

Can't believe how many Rebecca's they have, all 3 miles away, black hair, blonde hair, and the old munter even shows up as Rebecca. Have to wonder what the hell you would actual meet!

Agree2 Disagree0

How many different Rebecca's are they that live 3 miles away. I'd walk for the leggy one on the bed, lol. Well done youngsters a good match to watch. I can see 3 or 4 of them being Leeds regulars soon. Dawson was superb

Agree2 Disagree0

I guess Preston van man lives with
Rebecca - as they are both 3 miles
from me. Perhaps he drives her
everywhere.

regarding the investment It's obvious to me that GFH are waiting to see if NW commits to the club before they give him X amount of millions. Put yourself in their shoes, would you give a manager money to spend if they were going to leave? Until he commits we won't get any money from GFH, if he ever does, because let's face it when he was put in charge hardly any of us were happy about it because we all know he doesn't like Leeds, it was just an opportunity to add to his CV.

If I were GFH I would let him go asap and bring o'leary back. He worked wonders when he was in charge and it wasn't his fault that ridsdale couldn't count and ruined it for everyone. We played fantastic football under him, and given the right investment I believe he could make the difference.

Dpk28

Believable5 Unbelievable9

Why would he want us on his cv? when he does leave he says he's retiring! therefore not needing a cv, also what has o leary done since he left us? naff all!
otley white

Agree8 Disagree0

O'Leary lost the dressing room when his book came out - he went behind their backs. We were at the TOP of the premier league at that point and then nose dived to scrape 5th! That was a great team with a conceited manager and publicity mad Pete (Ridsdale) What happened after is well documented & why we're struggling to get back to where we were!

Agree8 Disagree1

If warnock leaves, get Radebe!

This is insane! Believe it or not but Norwich City about to sign a right winger who will knock Snoddy off his starting position. Snoddy days away from signing for Leeds on a loan contract til the end of the season. Thank God! The king returns!

Believable1 Unbelievable28

Snodgrass has been one of their best players this season. You are dreaming if you think he will be coming back to Leeds. Beets

becchio will be gone he's 29 and should be entitled to a chance at the prem..warnock has enquired about jamie mackie, cisse and louis saha expect one of them to sign...as for midfield dorrans is his number one target and has put a bid in for a left back from the prem...one or two loans will be arriving on deadline day aswell

Believable3 Unbelievable3

And how will we be paying for this? With matchday pies? Or the 500k that we'll get for Becchio thanks to Shaun Harvey's negotiating?

Pep Guardiola has gone to Bayern on a 3 year deal so not coming to Leeds (just yet) after all.

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Was he ever?

Agree5 Disagree2

Damn, I heard we were so close to landing him.

Agree5 Disagree1

To the above poster: get the joke! haha

Agree5 Disagree1

My auntie is spanish and walks pep's dogs from time to time. Apparently the move to bayern is to prep himself - football league and bundesliga are quite similar - before he makes the move to Elland Road in the next two years. Believe it or not, It's all signed already (Michael Brown was instrumental in attracting him to the club).

Agree14 Disagree2

All on fire tonight lads....great to see the fruits of an away win..! for what its worth I hope Rebecchio stays where he / she is..

Agree2 Disagree0

16 Jan 2013 16:32:50
Come on lads lets be serious if becchio really wanted to watch a wigan match he would bl**dy well go on saturday, not to watch a prem league team against a League one team that doesnt show him anything about how they would play in the prem. Also, assuming he aint stupid he probably would have watched a past wigan match on tv why go and compromise yourself by risking being seen at a match when your manager doesnt know. So there you have it. Either this rumour is a load of b*llocks or becchio is stupid, in which case he deserves to be sold!

16 Jan 2013 15:41:46
Note to the new owners... you think the elland road attendance is bad now... see what happens if you sell Beccio this month. It would set a precedent that we are still a selling club - as we were with Bates and that nothing has changed since he owned us. The only thing you have at the moment is that no one knows what kind of owners you are. If, however, you opt to pump some cash in in the next few weeks and buy some above average quality into the side - watch your season ticket sales rocket for next year.

Believable16 Unbelievable5

That's common business sense. get the feeling this lot are just chancers though. they paid over the odds for the club while smarter businessmen told Bates where to go.

kenny, ashdown, lees, austin, white, becchio, el hadj diouf, mccormack, tonge, green,

other then these 11 players no one else has really made effort for leeds. its sad to say but some of these boys are doing a lot more then they should carrying the team and carrying the management.

please someone tell me different, or add players if you think they have merited so this season.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Difference is you av only named 10 players not the stated 11

Agree7 Disagree0

Byram

Agree6 Disagree0

To be fair Hall, Pearce and Norris try hard

Agree5 Disagree0

Yeah Byram has been crap, hasn't he?

Agree2 Disagree2

For a start you've only listed 10 players... Byram in my eyes has worked hard, Mccormack has barely played

Agree5 Disagree2

Every player who has played for us this season has put effort in! we just need two quality players to help us out at times where we lack knowledge of what to do! you can hardly say Peltier hasn't tried? he's a great player when he's plays in his natural position that's what everyone forgets.

Agree2 Disagree0

They have all tried hard. Why do we continue to slag all the players off.. Brown has done a good job.. The job that Grayson bought him to do, and he does it well.... The stick Varney has had is totally uncalled for, and are you telling me that Pearce doesnt try, or doesnt care... Bog off.. Im beginning to think old Ken was right...

Agree8 Disagree1

Hi, I will have an opinion on players who do not play for Leeds, but if a player puts on the jersey, for me they are beyond slagging and back biting, whether they are good or not, if they did not want to play for Leeds they would not be here, no one forced them to sign.
The power of positivity is immeasurable, get behind the team no matter who takes the field.
If you want to sit in a seat and boo then give your entrance money to charity and go to the local park and slag off the ducks, it will do as much good.

if gfh want to make serious money with leeds.

step
1, you can't make money with out money.
2, invest in the squad from £6 - £10 million to atleast push for a promotion spot
3, invest in a new manager not one that publically abuses out best player and leaves to good players on the bench
4, new back room staff (pretty rubbish at the mo) we all agree
5, and most important LISTEN TO THE FANS, WE know what we want we wouldnt make stupid judgements on our beloved team.

anyone care to add from 5 be my guest.
5 step to make a better investemnt, isnt like £30million plus bonus for getting promoted to the prem league ??

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Dont think warnock has abused Beccio. Maybe the chinese whispers of a rumour circuit have reinterpreted it that way.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi, award yourself a Meerkat, you make it look so simples. Have you submitted your business plan to GFH?

Agree0 Disagree0

How do we know becchio didn't want to go all along, maybe the reason he has played so well?

Have I got this wrong or does NW value work rate and commitment more than individual achievement? He's commented on Dom Poleon's attitude and he doesn't get selected. Then there's all the speculation about Becchio leaving and we all know about his work rate. Yet he protects Brown and Varney who work as hard as possible but achieve little. Does this mean that as long as players commit but we don't get results, NW is happy?

apparently colin has said he didn't appreciate leeds fans getting on Varney and Browns backs last night, are we not allowed an opinion anymore.
in case you havnt noticed Brown is too slow and reckless that's why he gets a yellow card every week and Varney tries but he is just not as good as players we have let go.
one more thing when we try to play football on the ground we have a chance, but that is nothing to do with Beccs and everything to do with mr.Warnock.
Becchio managed just fine when we had Gradel and Snodgrass supplying him, so get rid of the crap you bought in and get us some decent players.

Believable15 Unbelievable3

Becchio is a great leeds player, but he's always been the same.. Even when snodds and gradel were here he would have spells where you would wonder if someone had spiked him with Tramadol..., but none the less he comes up trumps, and is around a 20 a season man ... Sick of all the griping on here..1st Bates, then Warnock, even the new ownerw ffs support the team because at the moment it seems like the supposed fans are out to deatroy the club

players like austin, adomah, buckley, mchail - smith, steele, parr, bolasie, boyd, mcgugan, sharp, or league 1 and 2, clayton, donaldson, cox, judge,

If the rumours and I say rumours not facts are true about Becchio never wanting to play for Warnock again then why would be choose a Tueaday night game away at Bournemouth to watch Wigan and travel all that way by his own accord? If he wasn't going to play for Warnock again then surely he'd wait until the weekend and still be "ill" and watch Wigan then? Also I remember last January transfer window when Becchio was linked with Wigan, someone posted a picture of a Becchio look a like watching a Wigan game, maybe it's the same person that has supposedly been spotted at Bournemouth! He's Leeds through and through he loves our club and he loves is fans without us he wouldn't be the player he is, yes he works hard and gives his all but lets face it he isn't exactly a good football with his horrible first touch and he goes down to easy, but with us fans getting behind him and chanting his name every week that must be a real buzz for him and we push him on and give him the momentum! If he went to Wigan he would be nothing there, firstly he may not be able to cut it in that league, also they aren't exactly a fantastic team......plus he won't be a fan favourite at the atmosphere at the DW isn't exactly electric, he wouldn't get the support he does from us Leeds fans! I honestly don't believe he will go, he's getting old now and we made him who he is, he won't want to leave, Leeds his home for Becchio!

Becchio:

Came from Argentina with nothing but his boots... We gave him a chance.

His first child was born at the LGI.

He's having a house built in Leeds (apparently).

Three reasons why he loves this club, and (hopefully) won't leave. Think he knows the fans love him, and he reminds us every time he scores what we mean to him.

Well i was at the game last night and have watched most games live this season, for the first time in a long while we actually passed the ball, and we looked good. I know most of you will disagree with me but becchio is a old fashioned centre forward and all we do is pump the ball up to him and hope he holds onto it, becchio does without doubt limit our game to the long ball, OK he does score goals but we can not carry on losing the ball and being overrun, out passed and totally out played. Last night Byram, Austin, Green, Brown, white were playing differently they were looking to pass and move rather than pump the ball to becchio and it worked better. This is the first game for a long time that we were the better team in possession. Every good side play through the middle and the front men have pace and hold the ball, i am afraid that until we play like we did last night in the league then we will be mid table, if anyone offers good money for becchio i would take it. becchio is not a team player i have said this before and it is still the same, Yes he scores goals but so would a top striker if we pass the ball and create chances by passing and holding on to the ball. Barnsley was very poor the worst i have seen in 10 years, our back line and midfield every time we got it pump it to becchio who lost the ball 9 out of 10 times. Sorry for all you becchio lovers but it is time to move on, if we do not react now and continue with the long ball game we will regret it. anyway Well done to the team last night a great response to the Barnsley game, we have the players we need the system it is not rocket science. I NOW AWAIT ALL YOU LEEDS FANS TO SLATE ME, but before you do think about the games you have watched and ask yourselves did we actually pass, move and hold on to the ball better than the opposition? Kevin Leeds 50 years

Believable8 Unbelievable5

So is it becchio's fault that warnock insists on these tactics? no its the manager who is supposed to make the team play the way they do, not the striker? do you not think its a bit daft that your post is basically saying we get rid of our top scorer as the manager cannot make the team play passing football when he is on the pitch, strange as its rumoured that martinez wants him and his team play on the deck?

Agree3 Disagree3

He loses the ball because we just pump it up the pitch, that's why, he is isolated with no one near him and when you play it long you increase the chance of losing possesion as you will mostly have one to two strikers against four defenders..my god do you actually watch any football, these are tactics from 20 years ago!

Agree4 Disagree2

Just because Becchio is in the side doesn't mean we have to lump it long, play can still be built up . Its a bit of an insult to him to suggest his game is so one dimensional, his record for us says otherwise

Agree6 Disagree1

You know you can play with a big striker without having to keep lumping the ball up to him. Not Becchios fault certain players take the easy option and hit it up to him. We need a winger or two so we can stretch the opposition and get good crosses in. Also pacy wingers can cut in and get in behind defences, something which we lack at the moment..

Agree4 Disagree0

Finally!! Someone with sense! I've been saying this for over ages!! He's holding us back!

If Leeds flog Becchio, then i give up, taking my shirt down and throwing it on the floor. Leeds ALWAYS sell their best players, we don't try and keep them and its getting me down, we are kissing goodbye to the premiership.

Becchio wasnt ill, we have been lied to, he's in talks with wigan.

Agree3 Disagree0

The story about becchio is only being reportd by sky tv, the arbitors of lies when it comes too football they just make it up.
he is ill
warnock as much as i don't like him wouldnt blatantly lie like that, as he would know he would be sacked the instant he was found out

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree there has been a bad smell coming out of Elland Road for too long now
Risdale, Bates and these very quiet Arabs

Agree1 Disagree1

Warrnock said that Bechio said he was ill and had text S Harvey to say he was at home not as Wigan where he was rumoured to be.

I can't see Warnock lying about that so if any porkies have been told it was by Becchio.

Selling under the Bates was terrible but we don't need to sell now so if we do it would be to improve the team not because we need the money for development projects / Mrs B's pocket money... Also if he is going then the club won't want anyone to know until a replacement was found or every club would hike prices up knowing we had to buy a striker.

Have faith in the club. We have 2 weeks to buy who we need or failing that bring in decent loan signings. As last night proved, its not all doom and gloom and its a bit early in the new owners running of the club to start throwing shirts and tickets away.

MOT

Agree2 Disagree1

If the money is 4 million and this is added to other transfer coffers, then I think it's good business. I don't think he will go in this window, as GFH aren't going to spend much. If there is still interest in the summer and we make a few marquee signings, well I say thank you Lucy you've been a star, but times change.

all these rumours about becchio watching wigan do you people actually believe this ?? what would you actually get out of watching them beat a league 1 team if i was him i would want to watch them play a premier league game. anyway if he did go i couldnt blame him he only has a few years of good in him before it is downhill not only that ok he scores a lot of goals for us but we could replace him for an allround better striker as he has no pace about him whatsoever mot kieran

Believable4 Unbelievable2

I always hate when people say a player is not very good because they lack pace. 2 good examples of this would be Grant Holt & Rickie Lambert who are both lacking pace but they were both top scorers at their clubs and its likely that Norwich and Southampton wouldnt be in the Premiership if it wasn't for them. Another example of someone a bit closer to home is Mark Viduka, slow but was a key player for us.

Dunno if becchio will go but no smoke without fire I guess. Couple of positives tho, nice to see players in position and get an away win. Hopefully Warnock has noticed Rudy Austin's lack of composure, control and general ability. I wound pick brown over him at the moment. Pretty sure Mackie will be Leeds player next week. Still not great fan of Warnock but hopefully he wil prove me wrong. Mot, vinny.

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Alot of fans seem to forget that rudy played the equivalent of a full season over in norway and then without having any sort of rest really he comes to us and his thrown straight into the side then picks up quite a bad injury as i always say with foreign players most need a season to get use to the english game ill judge him next season and so should everybody else.

Trouble is. Warnock can't manage good players. Dosent know what good football is and slags his ayers off in public
How is he still our manager even though we won at brim, he is still an absolute dirk head.
