What about someone like Brian Deane for an outside shout? Managing in Norway at the moment and kept his side up in his first season and now is in mid table. Plays attacking, passing football too and has the smallest budget in the league.
Decent shout, prefer him over one or two other candidates.

Never could understand why some people say things like. "not sure about 5 million but take the 7 miliion" You would swear the money was going in their pocket! If Ross goes for say 6 million and we bring in 3 or 4 players for that 6 million there will be a major deficit on wages. So in reality we would maybe bring in just 2 players of a good standard, after losing Macca for 6 million! MOT.

We can't sign anybody until July (Officially), but as our accounts are still frozen this stops us from making any kind of cash transfer. We need the accounts un-freezing before we can do anykind of business, surely.

Boltons Brazilian striker Andre Moritz is having talks with leeds as he is out of contract at Bolton who offered him a new contract but he's turned it down. Any one know anything about him appart from he seems to have been a journeyman changing clubs after 1-2 seasons

Why do you want Clement? Is it because he's a coach at a big club and that makes him a great coach/manager? Although MC says he wants a coach, surely it means more than just coaching. what about team talks and lifting morale at HT when losing! Maybe its me but all this coach stuff doesn't fit. MOT.
If we were able to sign Clement does anyone imagine Real Madrid snapping up Hockaday as his replacement?

i posted a week ago that over 60% of fans of Cagliari approved of MC. Another report has come out today with further fans thanking MC for his time at the club and his achievements.

Don't understand why Cellino is being compared to Bates anyway. He's paid off our debts, whereas Bates would put us into admin to avoid paying them. He has lots of contacts in Italy and could probably find us unknown gems for cheap. We need some creative, technical midfielders and Italy will be full of them.

1. No-one has offered 9mil for Rosco. Though, possibly, someone might. That is not the same thing.

I don't know what everyones thoughts are on Rossco moving, but I wouldn't want to let him go to another Champioship side.
I know 7mil (potentially) is a a hell of a fee, however I don't think we should be strengthening any team that could be pushing for a top 6 place.
In terms of using the money to bring other players in, I think MC knows how to bring in cheap quality players and we should build around Rossco, Pearce, Mowatt and Byram.
