If the grand national is cancelled on the 4th of April that doesn't bode well for any other sports to be happening. So we can say the league won't be happening.

If the euros are cancelled, there’s a good chance that leagues may be completed, as it offers up time. Fingers crossed.

Christ George, that was bad even by your standards.

love that one gerge really made me chuckle

seira A have asked for euro's to be postponed until next summer so their league can be completed, Prem league should follow suit.

it doesn't make sense to keep internationals that can happen next year at the expense of maybe 40 leagues that need to be concluded. but then it would ruin leeds so who knows.

My dog has just eaten most of my scrabble tiles.
It's next poo could spell disaster!

In that case you were cheating because only permitted 7 tiles but the word is 8 letters. You say majority meaning you at least had 9 tiles. Plus your canine could spell asterids and disrates. Otherwise, excellent.

Perhaps leodis merely meant the tiles belonging to him as opposed to his current pick?

Course it could spell pedant, George?

16 Mar 2020 17:56:45
I was going to say that if the tiles had induced a bout of diarrhea it could have spelt supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, but then George would probably have pointed out that this was not possible as the standard Scrabble set only has 2 Cs.

Taddy Alf is correct.

Clueless Correct but such information superfluous as there would be the following problems.
1. There's insufficient space on the board to lay the "word".
2. It isn't a legitimate word and therefore would be prone to a successful dictionary challenge.

George quarantined himself 3 years ago, anyway. He now spends his time in isolation playing scrabble solitaire (highscore 3,435) , watching Leeds replays and coming up with anagrams.

and of course, blogging.

I learnt to spell that long word at 10. And showed off in class. The teacher was very impressed but the other kids weren’t cause they only could manage 6 letters.

Alf You been hacking in to my webcam?

16 Mar 2020 21:51:22
George - As I presume the dog would be unlikely to do its poo on the actual scrabble board, while the the word produced would be limited by the tiles available, it would not be constrained by the dimensions of the board or the rules of the game.

Taking the chat away from the media hyped stories, and back to footie.
Who apart from Berra is out of contract at the end of June and therefore may be in a jippy position for a potential season run in?
And what happens to the loans?
Plus loans to buy?
And a massive point that Bermo raised, how does it impact ffp?

nobody knows do they? we don't even know what's going to happen in April yet.

PL and EFL will be making this up as they go along.
Is Berra out of contract in June or at the end of the season? not sure what the contract will say.
