Think a mix of the 2 would have been ideal, I do believe you need a strong spine to get out of this league, we lost 3 of ours obviously from last season (wood, Bartley, green) . and we haven't properly replaced either, maybe 3 experienced championship players (couple of leaders on the pitch) and a couple of foreign imports, but hindsight is always easy to talk about, hopefully we can hang around the top 6 till January and maybe get a couple of players to give us a push in the 2nd half of the season. a proven winger, forward and left back are a must.

Whiteman12, everyone whether good or bad are entitled to an opinion, people on here read your posts and I don’t think I’ve ever read anyone calling you a fool or saying the words your saying! To say “you lot on here” and “your all blind” and the other remarks in that post are quite offensive! No one has a go at you personally for your posts so get the chip off your shoulder! Yes you have some bloody good points but at the end of the day you don’t know anyone on here personally and if you can post what you feel so can anyone else. It all depends on whether you're a "fan" or a "supporter"
I think fans tend to be the ones that turn up and expect the team to beat all-comers whereas supporters go and actually support the team through thick and thin, as a long-time supporter I reckon, over the last 40 - 45 years we've had a bit more thin but I'm still here supporting my team.

Whiteman12, I for one do think you are a true Keeds supporter, through thick and thin, I also agree with lots of your posts. You are what I call a passionate supporter but with an honest view, I know loads of Leeds lads like you but it’s about the football mate, sometimes people make stupid remarks that are totally wide of the mark, I do and then I read it back and I think what did I put that for!
