Delighted that the club have stood by Berra and rewarded his commitment to the club, plus his development over the last two seasons, with a new contract. The right thing to do IMO. Gaetanooooo Berra!

Yep absolutely Berra's loyalty to the Leeds cause never ever in question.

Well done Radz and Victor on rewarding his loyalty. Thoroughly deserved.

Berardi now has a 'home' where he can focus on his rehabilitation although he is likely to be out until at least April. For me this contract is more about helping him recover than having him as a player.

Exactly Alf, which to me, is why it’s such an amazing gesture, and class move. At over 6 years Berra is now our longest serving player, and has seen the very lows, and now the highest high. From what he said in the interview, he just wants to get back and train with the lads a few more times. I hope he can.

touch of class by club but have to say I hope we never see him in a leeds shirt again unless in a worthless cup

top man, loyal and leeds to the core but then so I am it doesn't mean I should be playing for leeds in the league.

Personally I hope once Berra is fit they find him a suitable club.

Classy from Victor writing open letter in praise of Bazza!
Very unusual response from club when player leaving! Makes me proud to be Leeds again!
Hopefully he can have a good season!
Wish him well!

Radz and Victor are really showing what they are made of now!
It’s great to be Leeds right now. Class on the pitch, and class off it!

The only thing Calvin whould have learned it's a lot slower and boring and I watch all England games MOT he just sets up not to get beat no flair in team only grealish and he doesn't play the lad roll on Monday.

Wigan White, indeed, basically KP learnt between very little and nowt in that England set up.

England haven't been exciting to watch since 1996. Instead of playing to our strengths we persist in trying to copy the Spanish and Germans playing technical football and we don't have the players.

And the tactic of goalkeeper holding on to ball till Danish defence back and organised then hoofing up field mostly to a Danish head is not what Kalvin is used to.

How’s that Alf.
What are our strengths and who plays to our strengths.
You don’t think eng clubs and national team have matched or bettered them in last 3-4 yrs.
it’s called progress.
Like mobile phones. Online banking etc.

English game still focuses on speed and strength. Break quick, move fast, get your body in there. All this slow build up tippy tap rubbish doesn't work with English players. Yea some teams can play a bit like that in the Prem but mainly its the non-English players overcompensating for the English lads. That's why the majority of players in successful prem teams are not English.

Altbough saying that, one of the issues is the refereeing of international games. They are far too soft and clamp down hard on more physical play so we used to give away far too many soft free kicks - so part of the problem is also we aren't allowed to play as much to our strengths as we need to.
