i know hat I would like to see is what the old leeds team did at home years ago run out to centre circle and wave to the crowd used to make me so proud! nickybee

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great idea unfortunately they have to shake hands with opponents and ref in a long line. JD

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of that team wouldn't be able to run as far as the centre circle now mate, and those that would be able wouldn't have the energy left to wave!

I can't belive what I saw at the game on tuesday? Paddy kenny threw the ball out to his players instead of HOOFING it upfield hoping for it to hit our striker and go in, oh how things have changed

A few things we can thank warnock for is he gave byram a chance brought diouf in, bought austin (he looks awesome under brian) and gave us a pretty good startin 11 even if he chose to play hoofball with them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Warnick did not give Byram his chance. He had Byram all last year and never played him. He then went out and spent what little money was available on Peltier to play right back. But for an injury to Peltier, Bryam would never have started last pre-season game at ER, nor started against Wolves. Sorry, but can't have Warnock claiming credit for Bryam. He even tried him as right wing remember, just so he could play Peltier.

Seem in videos mcd has got his head screwed on really well, no moaning and he said we are all in it together. Which the last manager didn't really apply. Ie blamin individuals for mistakes

Might only be 2 games, but its the way we have played them what makes me excited for next season

The abuse that Hammersfan received for his last posting is terrible.
It looks like it is one sick person.
He is the kind of person that I do not want at Leeds.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't go to that site any more and suggest that you don't either, why would a wet spam fan post ANYTHING about Leeds to start off with?

Although I don't condone homopathic and sick behaviour, in my opinion that guy gets what he deserves and more?

If he doesn't want the responses he gets the answer is quite simple - stop goading the Leeds (and other teams) supporters?

BMD tranfer list of signings in the summer will be mccarthy GK from reading as kennys beem sold in the summer as he dosnt want to be here as his daddy has left but says he's committed in the team till end of season mills from bolton as we lack a solid center backs Stephen sunny free agent and a striker from a team facing relegation from the championship which is austin burnley, adomah Bristol city, burke free agent which isn't in dmbs transfer list but is a leeds player in the summer as he's agreed a pre contract at the end of jan transfer window as we missed out on him on deadline day as we couldn't agree a fee for him also dmb as also a few players in mind from the lower leagues an as promised well not disappointed in also said there be no icen on the cake players they'll be a few surprise cherry on the top players if byram is sold in the summer if gfh dosnt come up with the other funds funds for his transfer list is coming from iib MOT

18 Apr 2013 06:28:48
Really? I can understand maybe the mccarthy and mills and to a very massive extent adomah but austin? He is worth atleast 6-8 maybe 9 mill and we won't spend that on one player.
Where would you have this info from? Very random!
As I feel this is crap I won't be reading it any more as it makes me tired and as a leeds fan I derserve better as-s water

The post left earlier on warnocks best signing, mine isn't actually a signing, for me it was his decision to bring Sam byram through that's beats any of his signings.

After hearing Tom Lees on yorkshire radio sounds like the players didn't have a game plan and there was no feel good around the place he says its a totally different atmosphere around the place now.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Warnock told it how it is. tom got sent off and cost us. could have been relegation.

Hope next season our new away kit is yellow to match the leeds colours, what do you guys think our kits will be next season?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'm sick of the yellow shirt I want something new like I posted the other day green with red print would be cool.

Agree0 Disagree0

While we're on this theme, I'd just like to see us wear the famous white shirt away from home whenever there isn't a colour clash. Years ago the "change strip" was just that, only used when a change was needed, there was no such thing as an "away kit".

Agree0 Disagree0

Our Packard bell Lazio blue was a nice away shirt, my best was the topman yellow away wiv slight faded triangle pattern in It

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would you want green with a red trim? Big no no on red. Remember the awful green shirt mid 90s. It was horrible. White Yellow blue.

Personally I like our current away kit, I hate that gaudy black one though, downright refuse to buy it. I'd like something similar to the old yellow style we had in the early 00s, always remember wearing it during our champions league days. Good memories

Crmd

Agree0 Disagree0

The green and blue striped one. and beleive it or not there was an all red one around 1972 ish.

Agree0 Disagree0

The three 'Strongbow' Nike yellow, blue and white shirts from last decade. Simple but smart.

Agree0 Disagree0

"I'm sick of the yellow shirt I want something new like I posted the other day green with red print would be cool. "

Why on earth would Leeds United want to put Manchester United colours in our shirts?

Personally I'd like pink with white spots on it please.

Agree0 Disagree0

" I want something new like I posted the other day green with red print would be cool. "

Might be 'cool' if Leeds came from Lamcashire (red rose) but they actually come from Yorkshire (white rose)

History lesson required?

Agree0 Disagree0

Would like an Adidas kit don't think we ever ad 1

Whisper it quietly, but in this crazy league and season, we could still, mathematically, actually reach the play offs. Wouldn't that be amazing!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't dwell on it mate. It ain't going to happen. We're only a point further from relegation than we are from play-offs and we ain't going down either. Wonderful dream though, imagine what NW would be feeling!

Agree0 Disagree0

If we did get to the play offs Warnock would claim it was all down to him he's that deluded - the mans a tool!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully this weekend will sort a lot of things out.

I knnow everyone's looking up and "what iffing".

Biggest is if we'd had made the change to BMcD 4 games earlier, we could well have been in a drivers seat fer a play offs spot.

But:

1) Warnock still looked like he had a shot at it at that time
2) Play-offs doesn't equal promotion
3) If we'd been promoted wi't current forming squad and management/ownership still sorting itself out. well we'd be strong bet for bounce back down.

So. Brian gets a year to stabilize and build something strong and lasting.

So notwithstanding the speculative "what ifs", my biggest one is ---If I were in Leeds area/Britain. right now I'd be buying us season tickets fer whole family ---

Sometimes the optimism and distance hurts

i think if we manage to get in playoffs this season we will go on and get promoted, at the moment 6 points looks a long way off with only 3 games to go but if we win this week that could be 3 or 4 points.

saturday
leeds to beat birmingham
middlesbrough to beat bolton
blackpool to beat brighton
palace and Leicester to draw
barnsley to beat forest

all possible results even if its a big ask

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2013 22:12:30
I've done the predictor thing for our remaining matches and put in each result a win for us of 10 nil and a loss for each team above us of the same margin and hey presto we are in the play offs!

Good news about Stiliyan (can't spell) Petrov

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Respect to you mate. Understandably we get very focused on our club and (most of the time) our disappointments. However, none of it is really important when it comes to the matter of life- threatening illness. I agree, good to see the guy looks to be on the mend.

I went on saturday and tuesday and what a difference a day makes, we looked composed confident especially in 2nd half on saturday and definitely last night. I won't get over excited and say we will walk it next season but I am very confident we will perform better than this or last season.
I think BMD could do with just maybe 2 or 3 players to give some pace and flair.

Best signing addition made by Warnock?

IMO it is Stephen Warnock without a doubt. The guy gives everything true professional and at this level class act.

What's everyone else's thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

True, though I would expect it from an England international. He is a very good LB which is why he's spent most of his career in the prem.
I think it would be a close call between Warnock and Diouf. Diouf maybe old but he still has the skill and pitch intelligence of the £10 million pound player he was.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gotta be DIOUFFFFFFFFFF

Agree0 Disagree0

Diouf is great but for me he doesn't get enough goals.

I would expect another 5 per season from him. 10-12 goal man if he was really doing the job.

Agree0 Disagree0

"I would expect another 5 per season from him. 10-12 goal man if he was really doing the job"

Well if Warnock had actually played him full time every game he might have done that? Hard to score from the bench?

With Bristol going down, hopefully we can get Adomah for a knock-down price. He could be just what we need; a bit of pass and a great cross!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Erm. Pace mate?

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know what you have heard mrs adomah but your son ain't good enough for the mighty elland road first 11.

not 1 of there players would get in our squad now, let alone next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

For all those making silly comments about Adomah, last summer a £3mill price tag was mooted so he clearly is valued & every time he's played against us he's ripped us up down the right wing.

Mcd wishes for 6 games not 3. Too bloody right, 6 and in play offs. 4 would be enough. Bugger bugger bugger. Well done lads and mcd. Continue having fun. We are. What a w. Warnock was. Like I said all along!

Two wins on the b-o-u-n-c-e two wins on the b-o-u-n-c-e. I am reminded of the famous quote by Billy Bremner (whose poster I used to have on my wall) 'The white shirt is feared the length and breadth of the country. ' Is this sleeping giant about to wake?

Bring on Birmingham!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It's a sign of how testing this season has been if we're getting this happy over two successive wins. well done lads, let's banish the memory of this last year.

Fantastic Lads!
What a great performance - great atmosphere
Just what we needed! Just shows the potential we have in this team
And Rudy was on fire - thought he played out of his skin and took his goal well

Some deserve it.
I would love to see
1. Uddersfield go down. Clayton as a Div 1 player, and
2. even better Norwich joining us in the Championship. Watching Snodgrass, Johnson, Howson and Becchio gracing the championship with their big bankrolls. (well not Becchio because he can't get a game).
Now that WOULD be justice Ha.

MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yh but Norwich are good team cause got our best players synod grasses becchio howson Johnson

Agree0 Disagree0

Its going to happen

Agree0 Disagree0

all them players wanted to stay at Leeds just the board wanted to cash in typical narrow minded individual who always blames the players

Agree0 Disagree0

Wanted to stay? Why then did Becchio put in a transfer request and both Howson and Johnson turn down improved contracts?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nonsense to the guy who says all wanted to stay. Go read Howsons interview, he wanted to play in PL. Same for Snodgrass, he was offered a big contract and made captain, still left. Johnson wasn't good enough, and Becchio handed in a transfer request. Typical, always blaming everyone but the players. Macca72

Agree0 Disagree0

" Why then did Becchio put in a transfer request"

Might have had something to do with Warnock starting to get on his back?

Good job Lees isn't like that though.
