Thanks Dave I am 60 this year and have been trying not to cry all day
Norman was from a different time in football it was tough then and he played the game as you had to to compete in that era. He was just a wonderful player.

I was just in one of these Skype meetings whilst working from home and the text just came through from a mate that Norman Hunter had died - and time just stopped. We used to play attack and defence in Manston Park when we were kids and someone always wanted to be Norman Hunter. This is losing a treasured childhood memory. I never met him, I never spoke to him. But he was a hero. Almost mythical, as most of that team were and are. What a sad, sad day.

Totally devastated, my favourite player of all time. The only time I went in the scratching shed we were playing Ipswich, Norman hit one from 20 yards into the roof of the net with his RIGHT foot. True legend,

Tragic news, been listening on the radio and loads of former greats paying tribute to Norman. Bite your legs but off the field a true gentle man. Hate this sodding virus, so many tragic deaths happening around the world. Football maybe doesn't seem that important anymore, hopefully though we can get this season finished a fitting tribute to Norman and all connected to Leeds would be promotion this season.

I see it keep cropping up if we make it to prem then we should sign Milner I don't think so me don't think sign any old players back they had the time trust bub ps that's if it starts again MOT.

In the main I agree.

Those that turned their back on us due to our limited ambition or wage structure etc. Yes they should not be given a second chance. Their are thousands of players who have never been lucky enough to experience playing at Elland Road. No need to fall back on those that have but didn't realise how lucky they are.

But, Milner, I am absolutely against you on that one. The guy is Leeds thro and thro. He didn't want to go. He was a kid and he got bartered off like a cheap piece of meat. He never had the chance to really enjoy the adulation of ER. I would live him to come back and complete his sporting life.
Becchio and Howson are a couple of other guys that I think were treated shoddily in the past. And for me Kalvin Phillips is creating a life he will be proud of once he retires.
