Not a rumour, just a thought.

Danny Graham would be a very decent signing for us. Not playing regularly for Swansea and proven at this level. Not sure how realistic it is though.

What do you lads think?

Would be good. Unfortunately I think he will have prem takers. He is much improved from when he was on loan at Leeds.

West ham Norrwich and Southampton are all in the hunt for his signature.

He won't be coming to Norwich he's no better than what we already have, How is Adam Drury doing up there?

Can see why you let him go. NW doesnt rate him either.

The games he has played he has looked a good defender, though he's been injured a few times and for some reason unbeknownst to the fans, Warnock prefers Lee 'Out-of-position' Peltier..

To the norwich supporter, Drury hasn't really had much time on the pitch(injuries etc)But the little i've seen of him seems a solid no nonsence full back a good squad player!but i'm sure your already aware of that!Hows Snodders et al getting on?

Replying to the post from the barnsley young un.who obviously needs reassuring on who's the biggest team in yorkshire. Just ask your mates which is the biggest game of the season. They will all say leeds as its their cup final we are bigger because we've won far more than them and are supported througout the world not just in the suberbs of sheffield. They will always claim to be bigger mate but everyone with a brain knows different they are just jelous of our past sucess and traditions. Keep smilling at em we all know the truth. This may sound stupid but I'm a 15 year old lad from Barnsley and have supported leeds all my life visiting matches every other home game. I have a friend at school that supports Wednesday. There are more Wednesday fans at my school than leeds(that I know of). This of course means I'm greatly outnumbered when it comes to WHO'S THE BIGGEST CLUB IN YORKSHIRE. I believe (and probably right) that its leeds. However the attendences lately and the fact Wednesday are quite big leads me to doubt myself and I want to know what you think and why we ARE bigger. Is there any stats?
I do believe leeds are bigger than anyone outside the prem and bigger than most inside. Any ideas??

Actually I'm a leeds fan troubled by the fact most my friends are SWFC fans. Just trying to find the facts. Plus the SWFC fans think they're better than anyone, and every time it comes to the situation of WHOS BIGGER I'm always outnumbered. Just wanted help from you guys so I could back my argument with facts.

Suppose I can't prove I'm a leeds fan but anyone on here could be a SWFC supporter including you!

You obviously aren't a very fanatical supporter if you don't know our history well enough to counter any arguments brought up by other clubs

Just tell them we've won much more than them have a bigger fan base a better stadium(theirs is a dump)are higher in the league right now have better players (past and present) and are going up while they are going down ....that should keep em quiet ! Karl mot

I know what we've won an that but that doesn't make us bigger! Notts forest have won 2 champions leagues and so does that make them bigger.

We have a rich history and that has lead, worldwide, to a much bigger fan base than for either Wednesday or Forest. MUCH MUCH bigger. That said, it aint supported by the way the more local fans are at the moment.

Whenever you go abroad and talk football the clubs they tell you they've heard about are always man u Liverpool and Leeds ..fact {Ed003's Note - really ? I've never experienced that}

Yeah its true Ed. went to Paris had a kickabout with kids in street they spoke about Liverpool man u and Leeds......same thing happened the year after in ibiza with the kids there.......must be the history cause obviously man u and Liverpool have a lot of it too

How about Simeon Jackson as a striker. He isn't getting a game at Nawich and is fairly fast and busy. Failing that Gary Hooper will do ;_)

Norwich will prob put a bid in for Tongue, Tate and Thomas. It would appear there one and only scout lives in Leeds and doesn't own a car.

Are you serious, Norwich have three scouts in Europe as we speak a deal is on the cards for two players from Norway and one from Spain, so Tongue will be way off the radar

what about the attitude of the payers and the two we've loaned in to positive effect. I cant believe how the anti Bates sentiment has blinded some people. Get a life and support your team. Plus the money doesnt go into his pocket anymore. That was the main reason I kept away.

As much as I would love to see a return for Max Gradel, dont think it will happen. Maybe if we get promoted! I think we will end up with the likes of DJ Campbell or Jay Bothroyd.

hes what we need ,a consistently good set piece taker.
its better to have a full back as set piece taker so you can have your attacking players in and around the area .becchio would defo get more goals with harte in the team as diouf seems to win plenty of freekicks in dangerous positions .
even if harte was sitting on the bench and used when we need a goal in the last 30 mins of a game or to add an extra defender to shut up shop he would be a good signing .

If we get him, then we will see a hell of alot more goals from Becchio because him and Beckham were the best set peace takers in the country if not the world. Hope it pulls off because those that are too young to remember him. Will soon see what he brings to the table.

I can only speak for myself but I would feel sick if I missed a game at ER yes it's not cheap yes Bates is there til 21 st (figure head only til end of season) but there's no place I'd rather be.

Well said mate all those stay away so called fans who now cant use the Bates excuse and use the excuse of premiership prices...If we got promoted to the Prem and the price were as they are now would they still stay away what wuld there new excuse be...Best supporters in the land my codpiece

Did people really think the fans would come rushing back ? Lets be honest GFH still haven't got 100 % until Friday so bates does still own us until then
I'm luck enough to have a decent job and be able to afford a season ticket.. Those who are less fortunate why should they spend what they have paying premiership prices for the very mediocre football we have had to endure the past few seasons ? It's not down to me or any other fan to judge people who don't attend games... For those moaning why worry about who's not there ? I go to watch the team not the fans

Hmmm... "those stay away so called fans who now cant use the Bates excuse" well of course they can!

He's still chairman till the end of the season then will become president, a title that he does not deserve and one many people will be disgusted he is getting.

So yes, if people feel strongly enough about Bates they can still stay away because of his continuing offical status at the club. However I do hope that after the 21st the fans will start coming back in their droves! Christmas is an expensive time fo the year though...

Too many fans hate bates more than they love Leeds if Bates is an excuse to stay away cause he gets the title ' honorary president' and has no power whatsoever then you don't love Leeds as much as you hate him fact.

Im sick of reading about fans boycotting games, i say leave em to it, they will all return, as long as wer still there n shouting loud, who cares what others are doin MOT.....

Here we go again 'so called fans' and 'glory hunters' are names that seem to crop up a lot from the 'real fans' who are fortunate enough to go to games regularly...we are all Leeds fans, it doesn't matter that we all can't go all the time, better an armchair Leeds fan than a fan of any other club..grow up

Once some real money is spent, then you will see them all come trickeling back through the gates because it says nothing just buying the club but spending money on the squad speaks volumes, to the stay away fans. This is all we want to see, well it's all i want to see. Theres been to many times when the club have said theres money to be spent. Then watched the best players leave for peanuts. It's abit like the saying, once bitten, twice shy.
