Warnock says he deserves a medal for what he's been
Through the last 12 months. Warnock, we've been going throught this crap for the last 10 years and will be for many more to come if someone doesn't sort it out!
WTF do we deserve then? Some rich Arabs and poyet or Adkins? Oh yea, and a one-way ticket to the prem please!

Believable13 Unbelievable0

Fed up of the Warnock bashing to be honest. You have taken the "medal" comment out of context. Any Other manager trying deal with the Leeds United circus wouldn't have lasted five minutes. How could Warnock succeed when both Snodgrass and Becchio were sold from under him and whilst he received no funding in the Summer, he was doomed to failure. Cheers Neil. I'll leave you with his comments "It’s a great club and in the next couple of years I’m sure they’ll be back in the big time. They’ll make some noise. ” We will make some noise.

Agree4 Disagree2

Where the f*ck is our medal for watching this sh£t every week.

Agree4 Disagree1

I think it has not been easy for him, with the protracted takeover, and financial constraints, its always difficult to know what is going on at the club. A team of new players takes time to knit together, and the playing of players out of position, plus the sale of the leading goalscorer, have made it an impossible task to gain promotion in a season

Agree1 Disagree0

I like Warnock, but I am shocked at the state of our play.
Why buy Hall and NEVER play him, we are crap so give him a chance!

not a brown fan but I thought he was the only player up for it and was the only player putting the tackle's in and was getting in the face of yaya

He upset Yaya and got him to retaliate. Other way round and Brown would have seen red, Yaya nothing

Some people must be stupid, they keep saying morison did not cost 2m, ok I will keep this simple for you, becchio goes to Norwich, morison comes to us, we get 200k if morison didn't come the club would have got about 2.2m so yes effectively he cost 2m, just coshe was part of a swap deal, gfh could have sold becchio and made Warnock bring in a freebie then they would have been over 2m better off, I wish they had because he ain't worth 2m.

At the end of the day. Yes a poor result but now we can concentrate on the league. 8 points off the play offs but alas 8 points off relegation. Time for action is here and now. Feel sorry for warnock but also felt sorry for grayson at the lack of capital to build on. Pat on the back today for the ever present brilliant following. You deserve better and one day them days will comeback and we can all smile once more. Gzzz it seams along time since I smiled but I know it will comeback one day. Hopefully soon.

Believable17 Unbelievable0

This season has been a disappointment and so has warnock along with almost all of the squad but I wouldn't write us off for a playoff spot just yet. A win against Blackpool will see us 5 points from playoffs with 15 games to go. All to play for if we win on Wednesday and if not ten our season is over and we should prepare for next season as no matter where we are prem or champ it will be an exciting season mot kent white keep the faith

Strange a lot of people were saying that NW was the right man to take LU to PL. some of them greats of LU. quite frankly, I never liked the idea of GFH taking over, with no money in the bank and negative profits for a few years. KB has made a good deal of dosh and still holds assests it is believed that has not been sold to GFH. I had posted months back that GFH had no money. Anyway that's history now. I fear LU to remain out of the PL for a long time unless a billionaire can be found.

ER dweller since 1969

Agree3 Disagree2

Around this time next season everyone will want him out too.

Agree2 Disagree0

If the new guy comes in and gets the squad playing half decent football and whoever loosens there purse strings a little then no I think your very wrong to the guy who says well want the next manager out same time next year! Fans WILL be patient if they see a squad with heart and playing it on the grass. BUT it has to be the right man and he has to be given time by fans, players and the board. This club needs a lot of work that can't be done in half a season to get us to the promised land. Look at Swansea as a perfect example. That didn't happen over night that was built slowly and with signs of improvement over time and they are now established in the prem because of that!

Agree2 Disagree0

I don't believe that this time next year fans will want the likes off Adkins out. We can forgive the team we have with what budget the manager has, but we can't forgive the style of football the manager sets out for the lads to play. When it was said warnock looked to be next manager the majority didn't want him but with Adkins the majority do, can't see another warnock fiasco. Things do look to be going right direction from warnocks words after game and rumours about adkins so for once this season I am optimistic. Sussex white mot

The worst bit about today's defeat is that we down without a fight, it's obvious that they don't want to play for Warnock.

Believable7 Unbelievable2

I am getting bored of all this negativity, we were beaten today by the current Champions who have the Argentinian strike force ffs. We knew we'd be played off the park and we were but on the positive side I thought Peltier was excellent and Austin looked a lot better than he has been of late, some of his tackles were amazing.

On way back from the Etihad, shame about the score but we never really had a chance before kick off on paper. I'm sure most of us were optimistic and dreamt of a win etc but it was never going to be. The only downside of our performance was that we never seemed to shoot, our players looked scared to have a strike on goal which was disappointing. Our fans were amazing today we showed the world that we are the best supporters in the world just a shame our performances are not anywhere near the level of our passion and loyality! Time for Warnock to walk, he lost us fans and lost the dressing room it seems. It's a different 11 and style of play every game the players don't know whether they're coming or going! Time for a new manager with fresh ideas such as Adkins or Di Matteo to come in assess what he has in the squad and get rid of what he doesn't think is good enough and build around what he wants to keep! Season is a write off unfortunately but ill still be attending each week as I'm sure a lot on here will continue to do so! Bring on 2013/14 season and let's have a real go at it then!

Good post. Totally agree. Only problem is a new manager can't just come in and get rid of everybody most will be on good contracts. Warnock found this out with likes of Rogers, Connelly, Bruce, etc. I'd like to see Adkins in now to give him chance to assess and build for next year. Remember his record Southampton from Div 1 to Premiership in 2 seasons, we all know that but year before that he almost got them promoted after a 10 point penalty. he got Scunthorpe promoted with a team of journeymen, Hooper apart. GFH go get him now before some other club gets him. JD

David Haigh and Salem Patel I have some questions? Do you not think you are out of your depth? Do you not think if you don't admit this very quickly you will do more damage to your companies reputation than you could ever imagine?
Part of an investments bank makeup is they have to be seen to have the money and investment guidance that brings returns to their clients and also shareholders.
You appear at the moment to be skint members. Which cannot be any good for your clients or shareholders.
Strongly suggest selling majority stake and allowing those who have the money and footbal knowledge to come in and make the sort of investment required to get the infrastructure right and also the playing staff.
The longer you play at being a football club owners at a club with the history we have behind us and because we are known world wide the worse dent in your reputation this will be

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Dear disgruntled stakeholder (not shareholder)

Mr Patel and I are not in need of any advice from yourself, throughout our careers we have made millions of pounds leaving us in the position to buy your club.
However if you consider yourself of any worth business accroment please feel free to contanct the club with intentions to invest the amount required to aquire world football domination, untill such time please refrain from making comments on something you are clearly unversed in. Peace

Great point, maybe if you explained this to the fans before they spent their hard earned money then we might have had sense and watched the game on tv. seemed like we were destined to lose.

Agree0 Disagree0

Expect a manager who is not a dinosaur tactically and a team of players that will fight as if their life's depend on it and play fast paced pressing and passing on the deck football. Just read the patel and haigh interview with paper. Do they really think fans are going to come back while they spend a year and a half getting house in order. They should of known from the start, fans want to see investment on the pitch. I couldn't careless what they have to pay out. The only bright point was bringing through are young crop but without good investment along side, hows that going to work? This would only destroy the confidence they've built up, by throwing them straight in to the deep end. Do they not see there's still dead wood to replace and there going to fill all the gaps with young lads, NOT GOOD! This will end up too many, too soon.
I just really hope someone comes in that wants to put in or buy out right. How the hell there going to sell season tickets on that statement, I don't know. There telling us, this is not the right time to buy. Well news flash! Most fans are probably thinking the samething about there season ticket in May, This is not the right time to buy it, let's leave it till 2014. I guess it works bothe ways. They said they kept are best players and we watched one of the best, go down the road to the same team that took are other best players, WOW! I don't think they get it. Lowering tickets is not going to get the fans back, its a start but fans care about what's happening on the pitch and the months that tell us its worth going are August and Jan. I guess they need to see that fans don't really care what they've had to payout and cover. Do they think fans with there waqe every week, have nothing to payout or cover long before they think about going to match. So dig deep GFH, if your wanting fans to show the same willingness.
I really hope the boys do us proud tomoz.

Can't really blame gfh for not spending millions. They bought Leeds for 52 million and then find out Bates has handed them 13 million debt. So that goes down as 65 million loss for the year before they even invest in playing staff. They have to try recover some of that loss. It doesn't help that Bates sold Snodgrass and took the cash with him. I only don't understand why Bates is at the club. I think byram will be sold in the summer unless gfh find some decent investment by then.
I want us to spend millions and get promoted can't see it happening though

So they will of gone through everything and known about every little in and out at the club. So they knew all the bad things to start with. I've got loads to payout aswell, electrcs gone up, tv licence, morgage, so I guess i'm like many other fans and going to say like GFH, it's time to be prudent.

2nd poster mmm I can understand your point but GFH are a investment bank and have people that should see these things in the paperwork. If they didn't, well they can't be any good at what they do.

They spent six months checking what they were buying and suddenly this other debt appears if this is true then either there not very clever or they are lying

I thought I read recently that GFH bought Leeds United for £17m?
