I know everyone says if smith comes back he needs o be fit but I'm sure with the backroom staff at Leeds they will soon whip him back into shape.
To be fair even pardew said smith had been training like a demon to get back fit for a couple of games, when he'd been expected to be out the rest of the season, he's teetotal and strong minded I'm sure he'll prove people wrong

First signing in my eyes with what I've heard tonight on Twitter from Thom Kirwin suggests are star coup will be Smith, tbh of we get Smith first and follow up with 4-6 others then I'll be very impressed so long as the players are ones of similar ilk, Danns, Smith, Montgomery, A new LB, St Ledger from Preston would all be great signings and be very ambitious in my mind

Leeds have not changed sponsor so no we will not be having skybet or any other. We got contract with net flight still and seen as it a multi million pound contract we are not going to change for something less.

This skybet one is nice, but it's a fake! The home kit doesn't get released until mid-July. Sponsored by Netflights as they still have a year to run on their sponsorship.

Ken Bates will face a parliamentary demand for a government inquiry on Tuesday in order to disclose every detail of the transactions that led to his taking over Leeds United.
The former Chelsea owner has been chairman of the Championship club since 2005 barring a short period during the club's 2007 administration during which time he served two separate consortiums of anonymous offshore owners. The obfuscated ownership structure finally came to an end last month, when Bates took over 73% of the club in a transaction whose cost has not been disclosed. But the lack of transparency remains a major concern of the ongoing parliamentary inquiry into football governance.
Now Damian Collins, the Conservative MP who sits on the football governance inquiry, has set up an adjournment debate at Westminster Hall next Tuesday. "The principle is that it should never be allowed to happen again that football clubs are bought by offshore trusts of which we have no idea who the owners are, " said Collins. "Even though Ken Bates has now taken the club over, I do not think we should forget that. There remain a lot of unanswered questions about the whole process which warrant a full investigation."
When Leeds collapsed under the weight of £35m in debt in 2007 its anonymous offshore creditors refused bids that would have earned them £8m more, simply because they wanted Bates to retain control as chairman. That insolvency process also led to HM Revenue & Customs receiving only a fraction of the £7.7m it was owed in unpaid taxes.
Collins added: "I think we should investigate how Leeds was bought by Ken Bates and whether there are issues for the government to look into, given the millions of pounds of unpaid tax in the administration. We should also consider whether there is a need for the government to look into how the money was raised to buy the club, and where it came from." {Ed015's Note - i stand corrected}

Macron is nothing to do with th style of the kit we will only no when it is out. They is a leeds page on Facebook and someone posted a pic of what it could be like. Plus we are not geting bet 365 as we have still got the same sponsor net flight still got contract to them seem as they sponcer the stadium as well

Netflights shirt sponsorship ended at the end of last season and they don't, and never have, sponsored the stadium, no one does, the East Stand is sponsored by Hesco Bastion, hence the big Hesco Bastion logo that is plasterd all over one of the biggest stands in the country and is visible from miles away, Neil Hudgell sponsor the South Stand, no one sponsors the stadium.
The rumour is SkyBet will be the new shirt sponsor but the new Macron kit won't be released until the sponsor is tied down although the one that's been leaked on the internet with the yellow and blue flashes on either sleeve does look quite tasty.

last season we had a bad defence because our usual starting 4 had only just been signed, connolly, lichaj, o'brien, bruce, bessone, mccartney
players need to gel but we do need to strengthen, personally i would play lichaj and ob put paddy straight back in as he is a rock. left bk is the main problem and a centre mid smith fit would be great and monty from sheff u as thats the sort of midfielder we need to sit infront of def and make takles, a batty sorta figure as for att thats fine

Okay, If Woodgate does return, Along with Smith, Then Who plays? If smith is a replacement for Kilkenny or Johnson then fair enough, but what about Woodgate. One knock, and we're back to the defenders who shipped so many goals last season! Paddy's bound to be a bit rusty coming back into competetive football, and you need a good start in this division to give yourselves a chance. Becchio up front, with Smith alongside him would be my choice, but if that's the case, then we definitely need a tackler for the centre of the park, along with a left back, which I honestly feel is our weakest area. So that one midfield anchor can then allow Howson to play his more forward role. I'd fancy a team like this......

To be fair mate the Pro Smith lot seem to conveniently forget that the reasons alot dont want Smith back isn't simply down to Man U ties as much as they try and convince otherwise. He's just not that good anymore. He wasn't a prolific striker and he doesnt know what he's doing in midfield he has no confidence, and just runs around alot. Hes very injury prone, and wont last the full season, he'll be on the treatment table being paid the highest wages at the club, is that fair on the players that got us where we are and have struggled through the hard times. I guess people want him to just automatically be given the captains armband as well, naff the players that have earned it putting in the graft, no Smith can waltz in and claim it with no effort. It doesnt make footballing, or business sense to bring him in at all. We need new, healthy young players in. Bates is pushing this because he knows alot of plastics will return if they think Smith returning is a possibility, even though in reality the talks will break down because Leeds won't offer the wages Smiths accustomed too. The same goes for Woody or Bowyer.
