(Dont like to gloat when I get something right but it don't happen very often so I will lol)
Like I told you 6 weeks ago 7 first team players to be released at the end of the season ;)
El-Hadji Diouf-D Pugh-M Brown-A Drury-P Green-L Varney-J Ashdown.

(Y-E-Post)
MC has ordered BmD all his staff and ALL the first team sqaud to report back to work at ER @10am on weds 28th may.
MC was quoted as saying if they want EVERYTHING that's in their contracts then they also have to abide by it. 25 days holiday a year, they left on may 3rd and I want them back on may 28th as per contract.
(THE FUN BEGINS)

I don't know more than the average joe but was told about the 7 players getting released back in March, I shared it on Leeds rumours and got slated by a few people but STRAGELY those people have gone quiet lol
MOT forever ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Andy, to be honest I don't think anyone would have slated you for mentioning Diouf, Pugh Drury, Green and Varney. I think the whole world and his dog could have come up with at least those names. So who were the ones you mention that have gone quiet? Was there really anyone? Really?

Agree0 Disagree0

Irishwhite
I didn't mention ANY players names as I wasn't told I said (as I was informed by a first team player)
7 players to be left to go at the end of the season ( yes 7 ) also said half backroom staff to be left go.

Don't want to mention the 3 people that tore my rumour to bits it's a fans site and we should ALL stick together ;)

Good to see MC starting to employ specialists in right areas. He needs to start building a squad for next season & sorting pre season out.
If BmcD mum is ill he needs to be there & shouldn't be hounded about it but MC & BmcD need to resolve issues quickly so we have structure & players know what's what. Good to see MC watching players but would like to see Calgliari sold so he puts all his eggs in one basket & it frees up cash for him. Be nice to hear of some new faces coming in & the transfer list posted so we see his full intent.
I'm right behind MC but want to know what I'm going to be watching next season as last season was unbearable

Agree 100% sloughwhites. Good post mate.
FA look a proper set of Muppets now. This is what you call looking after a club & I love the fact he wants to concentrate on developing the fantastic young talent we already have.

I don't care. Who he sacks, releases, pays off, forces out or watever. let's face it, leeds has been run by idiots last 10yrs. Do what you want mr c just keep
Name
White strip
Ground
And winning
Leeds is a club not any one or 500 people!
I want to win not be nice!

LU has been run by persons longer than 10 years, remember Ridsdale era and his borrowed millions? Viduka on a 25 year mortgage type loan, fish tanks, the Johnson salary farce, etc etc.

So players bk early tuff get fit an show sum pasion like the fans dif under sgt wilco mot

MC states they get 25 days off, so why were they looking at taking 50+? Get back to work and start earning your money. Would love to be a fly on the wall come May 28th lol.

But looking at our guys 5 weeks to get match fit doesn't seem enough 10 weeks though we should have the fittest squad in the league.

Just throw this out there can everyone see the process he is going through and direction he is going and the tough calls he is making? So far they all look pretty logical to me. Is there any that don't like it?

No issue with making staff (players) stick to 25 days holiday but:-

* Why close Thorpe Arch if you are starting pre-season on 28th May?

* 25 working days holiday is five weeks so I make that the 7th June for players to return to work.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bic
Think what you will find is players get paid 7 days a week as they could be asked to play a first team, reserve match ANY day of the week.
25 days holiday includes sat/sun as well mate ;)

Does anyone know where I can get 23 days holiday paid at 10k a week? Oh, and then expect a further 4 weeks off, two of them paid?. Everyone who has left ER has left with pockets full of cash, Even Trevor Birch, the administrator, trousered 750k for three weeks work. It's been coming, the de-railing of the gravy train, and it needs someone with cajones to take on the agents and the vested interests. We are cited as the example of a badly run club, maybe we'll be the model going forward. Why fine Man City for spending too much money. They have lots of money! Dock points! Then the rest of the leagues can compete on a level playing field. In the end it's the like of me and you who end up paying the prima donnas who always want what the other guys getting even if they haven't got the brains or class to know how to spend it.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree.i thought the same about man city too.why fine them then give them most of the money back! They needed points docked a transfer ban and potentially expulsion from the c.l. For a season, otherwise they will just keep repeating it as money really is no object.

They fine them BECAUSE they have so much money, it's a free way of topping up the Authorities bank balances to allow for all the corruption the harbour!(Aledgedly) .
By not docking points it allows Citeh the oportunity to face other fines in the future! Wash cycle Repeat!

Of the Premier League players out of contract this summer, below would make for a decent spine of our currently spineless team.

Kieran Westwood - GK
Steve Sidwell - CM
Matty Fryatt - ST
Joleon Lescott - CB - As if, I know. He'd be awesome, though.
Sebastian Larsson - CM
Apostolos Vellios - ST

Fryatt a fair replacement if Ross goes and Vellios as a development project.
Ok, Sidwell and Lescott are a bit of a stretch when we're cutting costs but Larsson is a talented lad.

Beni Carbone apparently liking what he's seen from the academy so far. Said he's watched the U21's, U18's and U16's and there are some "really good players". Also said that in 3-5 years he wants to be at the point where the first team is built around a strong core of academy developed players similar to the late 90's/early 2000's
