The content of MC's seemingly insatiable appetite to be in the press continues to generate ridicule. That is not in the best interests of the club. He is an embarrassment to himself and, more importantly, the Club. Let's face facts, the FL were right - he is far from 'fit and proper'.
. looking forward to MC's forthcoming court cases and how the FL wish to proceed.

Slightly premature I know. but. If we are suggesting new managers names I would not be unhappy to see Poyet or Hoddle or Zola. If MC wants to look closer to home then a couple who have good reputations (Organise well and play good football) are Valter Vio and Ivan Carminati.
The latter has been working at Lazio, Galatasary, Inter and Man City primarily working on fitness but has learned from some of the top managers around. The teams, you could guarantee, would pass it around when they have it, close down when they don't and do so for 90+ minutes.
All of these are currently unemployed so fit the Cellino criterea - they are probably cheap.
Certainly the last two would not be alien to the Continental "Coach only" role

It's his money & he can spend it how he likes but I'll be amazed if Cellino gets us to the premier league in the next 2 years as he hopes as the coaches & players he's brought in on the whole haven't been good enough.
I get the impression he's too arrogant to suddenly change his ways but we'll have to see.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2015 22:11:48
He will want us up there so that he can cash in and get out- he has invested stacks so will need the premiership so he can sell for profit and head off to buy another boat😀

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed003's Note - wonder if he along with others realise the implications of a european breakaway league and all the tv money that will leave with that and this so called 'promised land' might not be there in the next few years ? just an idea I thought I would throw out there.}

17 May 2015 22:33:23
Can't see the European thing happening - the premiership are onto a good thing and I can't see those teams giving it up - not to mention the impact on champions league etc. having said that maybe MC sees Leeds playing in such a league - now there is a thought😏

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed003's Note - It will happen and the money will go with it or at least the majority of it will,the clubs apart from the big ones won't have a say that is why it is called a breakaway PP.}

I have to agree with most of the comments on here, Cellino is a fruitcake no denying. However, let's give him credit for making us a solvent club again, without his money we'd be in the mire.
He has a massive ego that needs massaging regularly and needs lessons on style, class and diplomacy. Whilst he's in charge the name of LUFC will be continually in the news mostly for the wrong reasons.
Personally, I have never thought Redders has been the right man for head coach. A nice man yes but lacking in tactical awareness. I think he has brought his own downfall on his head. I think he also has a huge ego and thinks the academy players relative success is all down to him.
He seemed hell-bent on playing "his" players and ignoring the foreigners. This must lead to resentment and probably led to that infamous mysterious injuries scandal.
I don't condone what those players did but they obviously felt the weren't getting a fair crack of the whip.
I really hope we can recruit some quality players in this window and Gus Poyet to be the head coach.
Finally, one piece of advice for Signor Fruitcake, let Adam Pearson do the press conferences keep yourself in the background as much as possible. I know a lot will disagree with me but all our opinions are valid. MOT and pray for a good summer recruitment and a successful season.

Speedo, I think most on here concur with what you say. The man has no class and an ego the size of ER. It looks like Redders will be on his was but why ffs didn't he do it in private?

Many people on here will say "what the hell, if he gets us promoted, then I don't care how he does it". Ask yourselves this though, if you were related to one of the many people Cellino has trampled on along the way would you still be singing from the same hymn sheet?

Treat others how you'd expect to be treated yourself Mr Cellino you coward!

It must be so boring being a supporter of any other club in this country. I for one can't wait to get up in the morning or come home from work to find out more controversies we have gotten ourselves into.
I was born and live in Doncaster and could quite easily become a Rovers fan. How dull would that have been!
I enjoy being part of this club (the main part like the rest of you because we are here forever).
I like the fact that other clubs/fans/press/Football League/everyone hates us, and that we always seem to get dumped on from a great height, often.I think this brings us closer together than any other clubs fans.
The current situation is just another stepping stone in our troubled history and I for one think all we can do is get behind Cellino and trust his judgement. He might be a lunatic but he's our lunatic!

All the young talent at Leeds are not down to Redders alone, although he seems willing to take all the credit for them. Its the development team we have in place who source them from local teams and schools sign them up then its coaches of U16, U17, U18, who help them progress and develop, then its Redders. Yes he has put a lot in first team this year but that's for his own reasons, maaybe easier to manage. Look at all the ex Leeds lads playing in the leagues and tell me they are all down to him. He has been with us six and half years we have always produced young talent. And I know he is loyal to Leeds but I expect he was loyal to Barnsley, York, Charlton, and all the other clubs he was with.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 May 2015 14:11:23
I also feel that is a bit of a myth that Redders brought a lot of youth into the first team whilst head coach. Byram was introduced by Warnock, Mowatt by McDermot. Therefore you have Cook (Fair enough), Phillips who he used for a couple of games and Taylor who he was reluctant to play until Warnock was sold (against his wishes).

Thought there was something not right between Cellino and Redfearn. Redders stopped picking the players he bought and even dropped Sylvestri in the end. Berardi only got a game because Taylor was playing upfield. Cellino should have dealt with it then gone public with his reasons but at least we know now he will not be coach next season. Explains team selection and use of bench. Also Redders never once spoke up to defend Cellino and just stoked the fires in his post match inerviews, mainly blaming the bad results on the foreign lads. Looking foorward to next season, never a dull moment, hope we get one of the three being touted about, will be big improvement. Really wish Cellino would get a script writer though. what he is thinking does not always translate.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

17 May 2015 09:45:58
Think Cellinos comments are pretty disgraceful if you ask me. Redfearn has done loads for this club, and he hasn't caused the fans to turn on Cellino, Cellino has done that himself. I supported Cellino at first but now it seen how insane he is, we need him out and a new owner.

Yes, MC has put a lot of cash in so has the right to employ who he wants but he has no class, no style for me. He just seems to think he can say anything cause he has the cash but NR has done right by Leeds so just sack him if you want but don't do all this media stuff about it, not right.

To be fair NR does seem to have made it easy for MC to fire him, I mean it is his job to find/talk to MC as he is the boss not Redfern, maybe Neil forgot that? Who knows.

In life you have got to have a bit of class, MC doesn't, I would not trust him at all and you would not want him as a friend but as long as he puts his cash in then he will make decisions, hopefully Pearson will be able to advise him about how you do that so MC doesn't always appear like a complete loon and a bit of a tossxx in my opinion.

It does make you wonder how this guy ever made any money if he treats everyone like scum, he is a bit like one of those tinpot country dictators, keeps talking crap and making weird decisions, god help us methinks, let's hope he gets lucky and gets us up.

Agree DG if my contract was up I would be waiting outside his door for a chat as soon as he got back. Cellino is mad but Italians have that Cosa Nostra approach and I suppose he was expecting Redders to show up and looked upon it as an insult when he did not. He does need to take a back seat though when he gets new coach in place. Still think we are going in right direction though, although its not smooth sailing

Regardless of your opinion on Redders, the interview in the mirror is just beyond belief. A vicious assault on a decent man, hung out to dry and ridiculed for daring to stand up for his point of view. Cross Cellino and you will sleep with the fishes. What coach is going to want to work with him? Probably Darko seeing as he is still on the payroll!

Interesting rant against NR by Cellino to gutter press and YEP. As much as I think Celine is right (my new name for him - Dion would probably make a better owner - she makes me vomit too though) because Redfearn is not a good coach and is a timid person (not qualities for lufc) Celine has to be the biggest bipolar hypocrite the world ever saw. Not going to list the evidence, too numerous to do so. Celine, take your meds and leave ER. You are deluded and demented. We are so favorites for relegation next year. If Dion had a brain, he would buy out GFH, get ER back and then just tell Pearson to run the joint. You see guys you can be almost a billionaire but you can't buy the sanity.

I find it quite ironic that Cellino calls Redfearn a coward and uses the gutter press take a swipe at him and basically tell him he's fired. Pot calling the kettle black don't you think?

I know this site is full of Cellino lovers but the man is an out an out coward. Why the hell doesn't he keep his gob shut and do things professionally? Oh I know, he craves publicity, but as long as he gets us promoted, who cares eh guys, never mind who he s**ts on in the process.

MC is just mad and says really dumb things, changes mind every day, can't seem to make a decision in private, repeats his mistakes, so how did he ever make any money for god sake?

The man is mad for sure, go home or just shut up and get on with running the club, he makes out he is some kind of god but no class, I supported him when he came in, no prob with sacking Redders who is average coach no more but for god sake man stop giving the media so much stuff to bash us with and just meet him, says thanks and part ways, simples man.

17 May 2015 09:24:02
I think the only reason Redfern is still here is because Cellino is worried that the youngsters were playing for Redfern and not the club. (which I think is a load of carp).
I don't think Cellino will sack Redfern until he has spoken to the youngsters and has guarantees from them that they will stay.
(ps definitely don't want Phil Brown. Just like Ian Holloway, seems more interested in getting his face on tv than coaching nowadays!)
