Good time to remind ourselves that Halaand only wanted to play for Leeds in the Premier May not be available next season but no shortage of goals for any team with Halaand junior up too.

Class. If he'd have come to us, he would be scoring for fun, (in the U23s) 😜😂.

Bermo. It says on some sites that Spurs are circling over Philips. If this is right, you and I will never hear the end of it.

i spoke to the cheif spurs scout who told me they are scouting Clarke and when i mentioned phillps he laughed and said no we are defitnaty not interested in him. granted new manager and times change but i can't see that happening

i posted this november 2018 well before spurs signed clarke. so i doubt it

i hope phillips does go for a lot of money but i predict. no i know phillips will not cope with the prem. he is just too slow.

Leeds player of the season so far for me! Think we missed Kalvin massively for those 3 games! Last two games he has been on a mission. to get Leeds up! Top bloke as well, just hope we can get him the promotion he deserves!

Well said DSW. The community work he puts in, as do the rest of the squad, is amazing, and he is genuinely a true Leeds lad.

Bermo, EVERY Premier League club was scouting Clarke last year but it sounds like you are now telling us you told us he was going to be a Spurs player in advance of it happening

And then the leap of faith to you saying that Phillips isn't good enough for the Premier League based on your previous post about Clarke being scouted and talking to a scout.

By data alone, Phillips IS a BETTER player than Clarke. Not my opinion, not your opinion, just data.

And from freely available data Phillips doesn't come across as being slow. In full games, on average, he covers more ground than most of the midfielders in the Championship top 10 teams (couldn't be bothered to look at those teams lower) .

So is you version of 'slow' just his data over a 100m sprints, or is it an IQ thing? Really not understanding what your specifically discusding

Maybe you perceive Jordan Henderson (captain of the liverpool team that is on course for a record breaking season) of being slow too. If so, I am bl00dy glad that Kalvin is slow. Slow and steady wins the race.

Phillips picked for almost every game for 2 years by Bielsa (who also said we would only get promotion with the future England player)

Clarke - not selected by Bielsa since his illness.

Now at QPR

Hope the lad is in line for a good career but we got good money for someone that’s done nowt yet. Got Poveda and hopefully Harrison for the same price

Decent business.

We use to get it in the 80s at some grounds because of the numbers we were taking the clubs were taking advantage, if we do go up the away fans will be charged £30 in the West Stand so that means our fans in the rest of the West Stand paying at least £10-£15 more.

Talking of the 80s. Did the stadium tour with my son yesterday, they told us that the flood lights aren't upto premiership standard and should we go up we'll be having another version of the old pilon floods we had. That'll bring back some memories, think they were the largest in Europe at the time. 😁.
