Look on web he rarely scores doesn't look too good tbh never seen him play tho so can't judge but going by stats alone he looks tragic

McPhail wasn't good enough as a youngster and isn't now. Why would we want him back? What's Jacob burns upto and Paul okon get them back while we're at it

The thing what makes following Leeds the hardest is never knowing anything about the club. We hear that we have missed out out on many many players this transfer window for various reasons and that Neil Warnock has never been off the telephone; well OK that is fine if that is the case but at least tell us who you have approched then at least we as supporters can get a handle on the calibre of players we are going after.And maybe, if we have missed out on them, explain to us why we have missed out on them....And I don't just mean Neil Warnock making a statement I mean David Haigh and Neil. David could and should take a few days out of his schedule and speak publicy and specifially about who we have gone in for and what caused us not to get him. This would not be a breach of national security, but just a football club telling its supporters, (you know, the people who are responsible for the clubs existence) why we haven't signed a striker or a centre mid.We don't need to go to the national press, just a statement to the Yorkshire Evening Post will do. eg, "we went in for Graham Dorrans yesterday but the West Brom had new injury worries so they kept him", or "we went in for Dexter Blackstock offering 600K and we didn't have it so we refused". We as supporters would get so much from specific feedback like this as opposed to comments like "we have gone in for 8 players but we were unsuccessful, "....like what the **** does that tell us. Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi, Iniesta, Rooney, Falcao, Van Persie and Walcott have all knocked us back, or does it mean that a load of lads from Macclesfield Town and Chesterfield have said no. Exageration I know but you know what I mean. We just simply do not know where we stand or what is in store for us as supporters, and when I say supporters I mean SUPPORTERS, not just fans, (we financially keep this club afloat), for which myself as a supporter do not mind making my tiny cintribution to Leeds United as long as we got a little bit of information back. But unfortunatley we don't though, but I will keep contributing in the vain hope that this club will give a little back to the supporters one day, because surely the relationship netween fan base and footballl club must be a two way street.

Rant nearly over, the most effetcive way for a guy like David haigh to get some customer feedback must be sites like this or the YEP site as he has got access to so much precise market research about Leeds United for completely no cost. Surely he must read these websites, after all he's a keen fan isnt he???

Good call sinny boy from the heart....I've just read the Dominic Matteo piece from Leeds local paper(soz ed not sure if I'm allowed to say the proper name)?? Anyway Matteo said basically he can't understand why nothing/ no real signings have been obtained by us as yet and only 13 days left ....he's got a lot of contacts still in the footy world and even has asked premier players if they'd join LEEDS and most have said they would but in particular a good striker would def come if only asked too....PERHAPS NEIL SHOULD GET THE GUYS NUMBER OR MAYBE DOM MATTEO SHOULD BE THE NEW DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL ALL PLAYERS JOINING SHOULD START FROM DOM THEN HE PUTS THEM FACE TO FACE WITH NEIL/GFH to sort financial sides out as Dom played for us and knows what LEEDS IS all ABOUT the articles worth a read lads and lasses oh and you gfh / Neil Dom little black book could help you save you're job

Sheesh, if Mr Haigh or Dave was reading this forum after the Barnsley match then am suprised Warnocks feet didn't touch the ground.

Tired of warnock playing the victim all the time and telling us how great he is. Ok so bates has lied to him but he is still getting paid loads to produce the rubbish he is delivering where as we the fans who can't walk away are having to pay loads to watch it then hear his excuses again afterwards. Please go warnock, you may believe the rubbish you spout but we just want to watch our team play football, be proud of the players after a game and have some hope of promotion sometime in the future! football over hoofball, pride and passion over egos!

WEEKEND GAME: Thought we would stick in a few against Bristol this weekend and make up for poor performances. Just seen Bristol City on TV and team are stating that they have responded to O'Driscolls intense training and tactical awareness. I now fear a Bristol backlash if we assume their position will be easy pickings for us

Ross McCormack has just tweeted that Derby are bidding for Dexter Blackstock and he rates him and would love to see him at Leeds.

Any other striker would not welcome another to the team and fight for places surely?
Does this mean Becchio is on his way out? I do not know?

But I would not welcome another Striker if I was McCormack as that would put his place in jeopardy..

I would like to see Nigel Adkins given the leeds job for the summer. He has a good mix of youth and experience in his teams. Some top players come through him including beckford, hooper, lallana, shaw and great signings too. MOT

I don't think any new signings are on the horizon, nevertheless I want to join in the banter. I think we need a pacy attacking winger and a striker. I have come up with a possible and I think realistic list of three candidates for each of these positions: Winger: Boyd (transfer listed and someone who can run at defenders and create chances) - Gradel (do I need to say anything)- Puncheon (i admit he has played a little for Soton this season but he's not exactly first name ont he team sheet. I think he could be bought. Striker: Fraizer Cambell (Fast, strong and scores goals...when he is fit) - Connor Wickham (scored plenty for ipswich and was a great prospect. I think its a shame he hasnt been given much of a chance at sunderland)- Craig Mackail-smith (ok doesn't score as much as he should be he is someone I see in the Bechhio mold ut with a little more about him). Personally would like to see us 4-2-3-1. With Austing and Barkley in the middle and Diouf Boyd and Gradel behind Cambell. HOWEVER never going to happen. I enjoyed my fantasy leeds team whilst it lasted. MOT big three points needed saturday!

just think GFH are hoping warnock will get promotion this season with out spending much, then look at next season with a new manager and some dosh to spend

To the poster who said GFH did not buy us for 52 million more like 8 million, l have been wondering all along why they paid so much? Been bothering me. If they fail to make some signings in next 2 weeks the conspiracy theories will grow. I don't think GFH are dodgy but there's just something not right with their acquisition. I believe it's something to do with TA and ER.

People are so gullible, it was 52 mill, there is no conspiracy, grow up

TA and ER not part of the club acquisition by GFH.The ground and training facilities still owned by you know who. Buyer in place for these but the 'agreed' purchase price went up after club acquisition.

If TA and ER weren't part of the deal, what exactly did they pay all that money for? i'm on the side of the OP.
