I remember rushing home from school dumping my bag, running to the park and playing football until it was too dark; most evenings. Then playing for the school most weekends. Now I hear managers blaming poor performances on tiredness, by Ocober. What's that all about? It should be compulsory Sat/Weds every week for these prima donnas. Otherwise I end up watching reruns (of reruns) of Midsummer Murders.

Why oh why can’t we get a Chinese investment with lots on money never seems to work for us, we get someone with little money yes he’s bought the ground and done some light repairs but the investment on the team needs big improvements, seems we just get players in then let them go because they are no good and no one else would buy them, or let them play for them, still never mind a.

Above two posts by alf and sg a bit confusing but maybe i'm just being dim. Frightening to think barnsley could be a prem league force within a few years. He would have to build a stadium for them too though.

Birmingham had foreign money bags owners and that has gone really well. Qpr the same My mate a villa fan assures me their Chinese owner dr Tony will take them right back to the top. he chucked a load of money at it. Has now realised that doesn't always work It's still Barnsley . He'd have to rebuild the town never mind the ground . I rate Radz and think that he has enough cash, motivation and acumen to get us up. With his tv rights to Prem in Asian countries, he obviously believed he could get Leeds into the Prem and reap the financial rewards thereof. Apparently the Chinese consortium bought Barnsley on the strength of "statistical analysis" which identifies the club as undervalued and with prospects. Barnsley can keep their Chinese chaps and their calculators - much rather have a shrewd Italian with bags of common sense. Buying the ground is not an insignificant starter.

Radz May have motivation and acumen but money I am not so sure, he’s part of a consortium and has to ask before he spends like the rest, he may have TV rights inland of Asian so what that’s no good for us just sky haven’t been bothered. But he needs to Find better players and tv rights won’t buy them.
