Red Bull to invest £650m in Leeds United before end of august this includes stadium naming rights new kit design badge change and club name change to RED BULL LEEDS SPORTING CLUB. oh and the building of a DEATH STAR just outside the earths atmosphere above Elland Road so we can destroy old trafford and stamford bridge

I like the investment part and the deathstar part but not so sure about the rest. However, the deathstar would be worth it

With the interest confirmed in Mills we'll see whether GFH have a transfer kitty. I have a feeling this won't be
a loan move. I think they are being shrewd with not making public that we have cash to spend.
Can't wait for the 3rd!

YP has announced that Leeds have made an enquiry for Matt Mills. I sometimes find it confusing why we feel the need to wait to secure deals for players in that we needed a quality centre back 3 weeks ago. With just over a week to go before the start of the season it would have made more sense to bring mills into the fold earlier. I suppose the answer is that by waiting we make Bolton more desperate and therefore get a better deal, does the end justify the means?

Would have thought Chris Dawson would have been in and amongst the first team for tomorrows game. Wonder if he`s still in bmd`s plans?

I personally think this is a good thing. All the fans will still call it Elland Road anyway but it would get some more much needed investment in players and we would own the Stadium again, so we don't have to pay fees to use it every season.

Who are red bull going to be paying? we don't own elland road anymore. we rent so it looks like bates is going to get a nice paycheque. to me this sounds like bates had this all planned. I hope i'm wrong.

Dont often find myself agreeing with ausman posts but this obe I do 100%!

No I don't agree cause we need McCormack because help in the attack and defence is not the biggest position we need filling its wingers

3.5 mill atleast - would be price of a replacement - don't want McCormack to go - successful Leeds sides always have Scots in them ;)

Nar considering marvin emnes from boro is worth 1.5 mill then mccormack has 2 b 3mill plus. if we sell mccormack then we have no chance of going up, you really think hunt, smith, poleon will strike fear into any defence? smith I like but poleon is not ready yet and hunt is useless. mccormack is still miles better than any of our attackers.

Mcc has great commitment, works hard, promises heaps but dosent deliver. He is not a prolific striker. He will not be our top scorer this season and he ain't worth 3. 5. Bet you lot still write to your first girlfriend!? Jeees.

Ausman why would it make sense to get rid of a player that clearly enjoys playing for this club

Hes worth atleast 3 mill. he is a decent goal scorer but we just need teamplaying midfielders not greedy like austin and brown. remember ross at cardiff he was scoring for fun. better mid and he will score as he's proved in past

Brad Jones could be the keeper to replace Ashdown with Liverpool buying Mignolet and already having Reina he won't want to be a number three when he can be a number one at Leeds. {Ed001's Note - he is a Liverpool fan who has said many times that he would rather be a reserve at Liverpool than a first teamer anywhere else. So you might be wrong on that, though you can't always believe what people say.}

Hes a god awful goalkeeper anyway, did you see some of his performances for Boro?
