Bmd came to Leeds on the word that the owners would support him, but no guarantees. I really hope that they make true on their word as I feel that to not follow through would be devastating for us. I can't help feeling that they only bought us in the hope that warnock would get us promotion in one season so they could make a quick profit and now they want out. Therefore they either give Bmd very little to work with whilst trying to find a buyer or stick it out and give him their full support. I only hope its the latter or else he may walk.

For all you "no money" pesemists out there:

GK - Gordon or Turnbull
LB - Harte
CB - Simpson
CB - Upson
RB - Lichaj
LM - Thomas
CM - Gera
CM - Whitehead
RM - Bentley
CF - Cole
CF - Simeon Jackson

These are all players that have been released from premiership sides and could potentially be signed on the "cheap".

Of course you have the higher profile players out there like, Malouda, Squillaci, DiSanto, Gallas etc out there, but fraknly speaking I would trust the free signings to do what BMD needs.

There are probably international players out there too. {Ed003's Note - Lichaj has agreed to join Forest.}

To b fair these might b prem players but apart from 2 or 3 none of them have been a good premiership player and I dnt see how they would improve us tbh, simpson is terrible, harte to slow now, upson to old, thomas very quick but nothing much else, gera I mean really? come on he's shocking, whitehead would b decent and so would bentley and jackson. the 2 gks ain't very good atall and cole will always b a prem player

mat mills loan no money at all time for gfh to go and get someone in who's willing to spend about 10-15 million let's face it the only players that are good enough are byram lees and mccormack if we are not going to be took over selling byram is our only hope MOT

Spend 10-15 million on players. Then get fined a s*** load of money as well as overpriced players not getting us promotion because they're only here for money and then the fine gets divided up between all other championship clubs therefore funding a promotion push. You sound like a clever guy. Wish you was our chairman

Mcd would not have come to leeds without guarantee of a couple mill. See if they deliver. If they don't and mcd stays, he will get decent freebies. For christ sake. Patience you lot. A lot off people are posting that GFH have no money hears watt we do no, GFH were first used by bates to try and find a buyer in the Middle East or a buyer from anywhere, GFH were not the people who LUST were talking about at the start off last summer when they said Leeds fans can start to dream again. That take over fell though ( I'm not praising LUST because I believe they had a lot to do with that take over not going though by not keeping quite, and pi!in bates off )GFH did the deal when all the other deals were dead in the water, and in there words Leeds was a good deal. Since then we have found out Leeds united is been held by them for resale. When the take over went though, on tv one off the presenters said Warnock had said he only had money for loans. Since then we have paid no money out in transfer fees. Chris Wood GFH wouldn't pay the transfer fee + 16k a week Chris Burke GFH wouldn't pay the extra 250k brum wanted, Lloyd Dyer GFH would only do a loan deal not the 400k Leicester wanted. M King GFH said no. I know all these were Warnock deals late last year, and they may not have wanted to support Colin any more because he was on his way. And his early signings had failed to cover them selfs in glory. with out a big investment deal we may well struggle to compete again in the transfer market this summer. I'm not saying GFH didn't Back there last manager because Kenny Pearce Peliter Hall and Morrison ( to some extent) cost money.

rumours are so funny and way off the mark.
no one saw the matt smith signing and yet he bacame the 1st sighing this summer.

you didn't see bmd at the airport. you thought you saw him and even if so he wouldn't tell you who he was planning on sighning

any talk of beckford should just refrain them selves from typing as its rediculous we don't need another 30 somthing player or becchio. eric lihij or how ever u spell it was poor for leeds on loan a few years back so why would we want him.

I agree 110% with this post, I understand that it is a rumours page and people are entitled to their opinion but rumours are paper talk, tv news report speculation. not people supposadly meeting up with the manager in the airport and telling total strangers their plans of who they are going to be signing.

ANY manager from any club would obviously welcome chatting with fans when they do meet them in public but no way would any of them go giving away infomation that they are trying so hard to keep out of the papers.

As for ex players coming back. again 110% behind this post Beckford, Lichaj, Becchio, Gradel, Killgallon, John Lukic they left the club for a reason so why would we want them back. move forward and make new Leeds legends with up and coming talent rather than living in the past

Adding Lukic to those names kind of kills your argument about players coming back being a bad thing, we won the league title when he came back!

Sounds a better idea to get Matt Mills on loan. He has not played regular football for a couple of seasons now because of injury and I think he only has a year on his contract. Bolton want him off wage bill so it is looking possible. Then we could get him on a free next year which is how Leeds like to do things.

Not really sure I get the Matt Mills facination, for once I actually feel a free option, in Matt Upson would be most beneficial for us right now. The lad has played consistantly at a higher level than Mills and is FREE, why pay for someone who struggled to even get a game in this division last season when an experienced premier league quality defender, is available.

Don't get me wrong if Mills was to sign I would support him Wholly, I just feel Upson would bring the experience and quality we need to our defence, as he was for Brighton when he played for them at the back end of last season, only 12 goals conceded in their last 18 games (not including playoffs).

Lets see if I can get organised for our promotion winning season. Does anyone know of any other tv channel, apart from sentana, that I can subscribe to in australia which will allow me to see leeds live at least five times a year. Sentana is ok but only airs about 4-5 games a year. I try and get streaming every week but don't seem to be able to, maybe my computer hasn't got the program it needs. I don't know. I used to get so peed off last season watching the text. Help please anyone?

More likely the fact that Leeds are not covered on TV anymore than that. (league fixtures)

I would imagine if we was more successful then maybe there would be more televised games.

Try XBMC ( program ) and SportsDEVIL ( addon )

Xbmc with sports devil only use sites like VIPbox. tv that you can stream direct.

Unless you have a Roku/Apple tv device I wouldn't bother with XBMC/Sports devil just use the sites direct.

Firstrow sports is the way to go although LEEDS won't be on every week.

Google Firstrow Sports and you shall be ok. CLick on football and you get a list of todays games. ALthough not sure you get get it in Aus now that I think about it. Try anyway.

Christmas Period. Barnsley at home (21st), Blackpool away (26th), Nott’m Forest away (29th) and Blackburn home (1st Jan)

We've signed one player "Matt smith" i'm willing to give
The guy a chance but surely he was expecting more to be done by now. I an feeling a little conserned that we are cash strapped and, they got DMd on broken promises.

I know its only early but we couldn't afford Rowe, now appears we can't afford mills ( want him in loan now). And Bmd said he's going to use youth, so we can't get anyone and were going to rely on the young ones. I say give em a chance but we need quality in there as well.

All this is a little worrying,

BMD first full day back is today, he is set to meat GFH owner & Shaun Harvey tonight.

BMD has said deals are lined up and all that is left is for authorization to be granted. That said I think it's far to early to be judging or speculating anything.

The time to speak is when we've seen proof either way & not jump on to paper talk/social networking stories.
