BBC player ratings had KP about 5th best Leeds player. Bermo always going to be watching KP through prejudiced eyes! For that reason his opinion really doesn’t matter to me. I understand that for publicity reasons it’s always good to have a different and outrageous opinion but shame that it always seems to be focused on destroying A Leeds player loved by just about everyone else, picked for England and who chose to stay with the club rather than accept the first premiership cheque that came along.

didn't notice coopers legs to be honest end but chances are we have just grown use to it.

Cooper is a model pro but league one footballer at best, due to his hard work he has become a middle of the road championship defender, due to the great team he become a promotion winning defender but prem is a road far too far.

Cooper goes in my vinnie jones, Mervin day, beradi category. model pro, hard worker, honest but limited in terms of ability.

{Ed001's Note - unfair on Jones, anyone who trained with him will tell you he could spray the ball about like Thiago just did, but he would just lose the plot when it came to matchday. Watching Cooper and he just looked like he was well out of his depth. However it was his first game in the Prem and he will hopefully learn from it.}

the year we come up 89-90 jones was quality. and he score two of our best goals of the season two screamers. jones was quality and should of stayed had we not had David batty coming through

sadly I don't think Cooper will learn from it he has played prem before and is experienced just limited sadly. full respect to him but not a great player.

Some of the criticism of koch and the penalties is way over the top. Today's was no way a pen. Kochs only mistake was giving the ref a decision to make. I think what happens is when a ref is unsure he gives it mistakingly thinking if its an error var will correct it. However the unseen cowards at var are reluctant to overrule one of their mates. Today's var muppett was stuart attwell of ghost goal fame. A very reassuring appointment. Not. Regarding our defensive play i feel the main problem our style causes is a lack of protection our midfield offers. Whatever, Bielsa will sort it. Great 3 premier points. MOT. ALAW.

Good post. I like Koch! I think he has been unlucky with both penalties but he does get stuck in. I agree the defence will settle but in this league KP and 2 CBS not enough defensive cover if the full backs are awol.

The key for me so far is that the guys are scoring in the Premiership, Harrison, Klich, Costa and Bamford. There was a question mark over whether they could. We are still creating those opportunities and now taking them well.

Also winning the game was key today, 3 Pts absolutely priceless!

also feel sorry for him, ailing is class but league one Liam worries me, Dallas just not a prem left back, keeper is promising but at this point in time not good enough and of course phillips is worst Dm in league. maybe ever so what chance has he got

3 points, priceless but let's be honest Fulham are rubbish and going down, how will we fare against teams we need to beat like Brighton, west Ham and palace? let alone everton and spurs?

I love the way we play and neutrals will love us but reality is we must defend better and have a bit more steel.

I personally think like Bamford Kiko is made for prem over championship. Maybe Douglas ain't good enough but we know dallas certainly aint.

we also know kiltch is great but can not carry both phillips and one of either pablo, Rodrigo or Roberts. one of them three can stay but we need either shacks or stuijk in alongside cliché otherwise we will need to score three every week because we will concede for fun. and everyone must admit it will be great to watch but will 100% see us go down. blackpool did the same won many a fan but are now in league two I think?

Andy, I really don't know what you saw, but koch rose his leg AFTER the slide, it was a penalty imo . Ideally Robin would be partnered up with an experienced prem center half to help him with his crash course welcome to premiership, but he don't so unfortunately for us both lads are learning together.


Best we can hope for is survival, and hopefully experience gained will be crucial 👍.

I think this season may be a rollercoaster.
3 points is 3 points, Bamford seems relaxed and calm in front of goal so far . I
Am Sure the defence will settle as it's a new pairing at CB . Still think looking at bench that there is likely to be a couple of players going and hopefully a couple of players in. Main thing is for me we have the first win on the board.

Mighty Ed025 and Hess spot on. This style of play possibly unsustainable for a whole season. That said, I can see us scoring 90 goals this season so it'll be entertaining. Just concerned about the other goals column. Mid-table stability beckons.

First win of the season in only our 2nd game

The pressure was on us in that game. 2 newly promoted sides, one that had walked the league, the other had scraped through. One who had beaten the other 3-0 last year and was at home for this game. Fulham came in to this game with no pressure on them.

In the real game they were 4-1 down. A reflection (along with their Arsenal game) of were they are.
In the manic s4!t-or-bust last 30 they they threw the dice and did well.


Sure, we surrendered a 3 goal advantage to scrape home. But we do have a very young keeper who is learning on the job. Let's not slaughter him. Let's praise his development. We do have a centre back captain who is playing his first ever Premier League game. He would have felt pressure today. He has a new centre back partner who is only playing his 2nd PL game. These guys are learning on the job in the harshest league in the world against the most productive striker over the last season.
Its easy to criticise. Let's look at the overall picture more

AND FOR THE GOOD NEWS
Costa is better than last year. Klich has found his scoring boots of 2 seasons ago.
Bamford has tripled the number of PL goals he has ever scored
Our talisman and No10 was withdrawn before kick-off and we still score 4.
And Trent-Arnold is still waking up at night in a pool of sweat, screaming Harrison's name

I am loving this rollercoaster. and this hot tub is sooooooo warm.

axe I agree let's be greatful after years out of top flight but if you think 7 goals conceded in two games. one against a team going down at home makes a warm hot tub I think you must have a fever mate.

today was a great watch but bigger picture makes a very worrying one unless me make some world class 100+ million signing at CB or Dm or make some changes to the way we play. you get no points for entertaining.

Berm, it's one thing to welch but entirely another to claim you're right after the event when the first thing you should be doing is getting the tat. It's one or the other. You have a choice.
