Time for people to quit with the hat and just have a little faith. We're living within our means, and that means spending within our means.

There's a full month of the transfer window left, regardless we have players back and ready to step up. There's a lot of teams in this deivision that would die for the starting line up we had out on Sunday

Lets keep the faith and get behind Uncle Ken, SG and the squad. Remember what Blackpool did a year a go? Their squad then was no better than what ours is now.

Just seen the 2 goals that Real Madrid scored at Leicester on East Midlands TV News. Both were the result of a defensive mix up. Just can't think of the name of Leicester's Goalkeeper - Young fair haired lad.

why does every one keep goin on about smith coming back he played his best football at leeds and since then has had a lot of injury prone season why do u want the teams highest earner to be past it and spend most of the season out.forget smith.
Also everyone goin on bout get bates and grayson out because of s**tty transfer policy if we only pay 12 grand a week and they dont want to come for that then stuff them no one player is biger than leeds.If players want to leave then let them killkenny wanted to go to prem not good enough so went for money instead.You cannot build a team around players who dont want to be there.fact

Better centre half pairing without a doubt. Haven't seen enough of Lonergan to say who would be the better keeper. Our full backs are our weakness. As much as I would like to see Parker shine, I think it's about time he went. Connolly's ok, but that's about it. I agree we are probably stronger than the 1st game last season, but not strong enough to stop leaking goals. Paddy was awesome yesterday and with OB they should make a great pairing, just need the full backs sorting.

I agree mate, my fear is if we end up loosing any to injury, really need more depth.

Bates said the other day, he had been in talks with two agents representing Midfield players, one can play up front.. (correct me if I'm wrong) we do need two more midfielder's, but I think we need two more defenders, a CB and LB which can play both sides, maybe a Van Aanholt, not too sure about the suitable CB. I was glad when Bates said the player
can play up front too as the first half of the season we are lacking fire power (Super-sub Somma and also I don't see becchio being 100% fit for a while) I think Keith Andrews and Sammy Clingan would make me feel a lot better about the season ahead if we are to get them in. Nu es will be a star for us this season.

could you give me your thoughts on this please people.
And also could you tell me how the trialists, Mendy and Bodor have been doing.

well done paynter for getting off the mark.. but dont you think we should try gradel up top with a five midfield behind him.. snodgrass and white on the flanks would provide great pace which gradel can match going foward, howson doing what he does best just behind gradel with brown and clayton holding the forte..... think about the space that would create for howson. we would tear teams apart. any thoughts?

The result of that would be a bit like when we started with somma up front last season against cardiff at home. Was unable to hold the ball up so it did not stick and so was not able to bring the rest of our midfield into play so the pressure is constantly on us and we get hammered 4-0. Thats what i think of that idea.

Squad numbers released...number 6 vacant, 16, 17 and 18. Read into it what you will...but reckon 4 more may come in? Any thoughts?

Maybe its just that they wanted to keep the same numbers as last year as only obrien has had his number changed

I hope we do get four more we would be considerably stronger then. LB, CB, CM, and striker cover. Throw in Mendy on an initial 6 month deal as well on low wages.

Right do we defo know jonny howson is going to be one of our midfield players next year, all depends what formation we do i suppose

Of course Howson will be a starting midfield player next year Doesn't matter waht formation we play he was ALWAYS a cert to play and to be Captain.
