Lol Brighty he will be sacked in the morning 😉🤣🥴.

Bazooka he should be way way out of his depth didn’t have a clue what to do sack in now,

01 Aug 2020 21:36:58
He'll probably have the sound of Leeds fans singing that song going round and round his head in his sleep. Two finals as a manager, two losses.

01 Aug 2020 22:17:46
White man - surely you don't want fat Frank to be sacked before we get to beat him again.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 22:47:04
love it can't wait to take 6 points and a few pukka pies off him next season.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 23:45:18
Berm - in my previously discussed effort on FM2020 mobile (the kindergarten version) we beat Fat Frank's Chelsea home and away on the forthcoming season, with his dismissal following shortly thereafter, and he was last heard of managing Middlesbrough, with an unsurprisingly mediocre tactical knowledge rating.

That sounds about his level, with apologies to the Smoggies. Hopefully something similar will happen in reality. The pressure will be well and truly on the fat one next season, with no excuses for failure and lots of money spent.

funny enough i'm on the main version and similar happened he is with fulham who are mid table in championship. maybe the game can see ino the future.

Could Ben White ask for a transfer and say that he wants to play for us. Does being a footballer not have the same choice where he wants to work as the ordinary working person?

Baz.

01 Aug 2020 18:28:33
No because they got u by the short and curlys it’s called a contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 19:46:55
I’ve had many contracts, that've been for years, but I could still give 3,6, 12 months notice. Football is weird in that way.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 20:18:51
If Ben puts a transfer request in and his agent pushes for the move Brighton will have to sell they are over run with defensive options at the moment so where does Ben stand I say offer 15 mil 20 mil at a maximum and that is pushing it for an unproven premiership centre back.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 22:49:56
come on tad,

i am the most negitive and cheif nonsense talker on this site but it seems you are after my crown

contracts now days are not worth the paper they are written on and players have all the power

if ben white wants to be a leeds player he will be wearing white next season make no bones about that

question is

a does he want to play for leeds?
b. do we really want him or is there better value for money out there?

Agree4 Disagree0

02 Aug 2020 09:20:51
Dunk Duffy and Webster I think are there main 3 centre backs? Surely Brighton will look at white and say he is likely as good or if not better than all 3 now
Or certainly will be . I think They see him as an asset because I genuinely think he could be a future England CB.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Aug 2020 11:51:52
Seems to me with their embarrasment of riches Brightons obvious option is the re loaning of White for one more year.
One more year Prem experience.
One more year Bielsa coaching.
One more good year and his value will double.
win - win.

What a change for Ryan Edmundson! Started the week in Leeds now sat on the bench waiting to get some action in the televised Rangers vs Aberdeen game. Hope you come on and grab a goal. Good luck!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

01 Aug 2020 14:25:47
He came off the bench for about 30 mins in what looked like a pretty poor Aberdeen side. Didn’t get much service but held up the ball well a couple of times and made a good clearing header from a corner. Given he only arrived yesterday not a bad taste of Scottish premiership football. With their injuries he might get a run out again next week.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 16:00:42
Certainly, Aberdeen lacked that extra spark of menace required to trouble the visitors until Leeds United loanee Ryan Edmondson came on. The 19-year-old appears to have the physical presence required to compensate for the absence of Cosgrove.

I really do believe that playing behind closed doors for the final 9 matches was to Leeds United advantage especially home matches as there were no crowd nerves and anxiety transmitting to the players during play. # promotion done this time

But conversely now Leeds United are going to be the underdogs in the Premiee League matches we really need the raucous
Leeds United supporters back in the Elland Road stadium asap as that vital 12th man.

Agreed. I remember when we went up in 1990 - one of our first games at ER was v Arsenal - the noise was deafening and Arsenal we’re rocking - though they came back to 2 v 2 from recollection. And the noise v Everton in December 1990 was probably the best I’ve ever heard. We beat them 2 v 0 - Shutt scored. It clearly affected opposing teams. Mind - Wilko having Fanfare for a Common Man blaring when the team walked out sent everyone into a frenzy. Can’t do that anymore!

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 19:50:47
I don’t agree. I think that under God, we have the ability to play most teams, except Citeh and Liverpool off the park when we hit form. But yes, the boost of our outstanding support would be a bonus, for players, and us fans! Top 10 for-me next season, even without additions! Spit and shake on it!

Manston spot on great examples

Brighty I tend to agree and hope you are right regarding playing the EPL. teams off the park. I referred to us as underdogs as newbies for 16 years away from the EPL and specifically as underdogs the Elland Road roar would be a tremendous asset to spur on the team as Manston gave great examples of.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Aug 2020 10:47:39
I was there too Manston! The matches that stick out for me that season, in terms of decibels, were Newcastle and Chelsea. Think it’s the loudest I’ve heard Elland Road. Think that was 90/ 91 season, anyway.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Aug 2020 12:05:47
The atmosphere v Everton was charged up because they came out first and immediately turned left and ran toward The Kop. When Strachan led us out, he started left then had to wheel right and lead our team toward The South Stand. The crowd went berserk. Poor etiquette from Everton. And they paid for it!

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Aug 2020 13:21:18
The season we went up 90/ 91 was definitely the loudest most vociferous season by Leeds home fans .

the Leeds comeback in the Liverpool game 9 goal thriller being one of the loudest when Chappy got a hatrick and was denied a legitimate 4th by a dodgy ref.

note to FLW. We are NOT a South Yorkshire Club.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

01 Aug 2020 12:52:16
You spotted that too. The 'quality' of writing in most of those news/ sport sites is laughable generally, but that must be up there with some of the worst 'researched' comments.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 14:58:35
We can only wish we were a South Yorkshire club, I suppose West Yorkshire will just have to do! 🤣🤣.

01 Aug 2020 16:22:33
FLW's quality shining through again, with an article stating that Leeds fans' distain for Kewell was due to his move to Liverpool. 🙄.

if only we was south yorkshire save me a few miles and hour or so on every trip up. in fact who is up for a move to milton keynes it worked out really well for the dons who are loving lif in the prem.

What has happened to all the players bought On the one for the future?, don't know why we need a new goalkeeper when the young lad has done well for us. Spend the money on getting a top striker, bring in some of the younger lads let's see how we do.

As thought and guess deserved that brentford v Fulham in final. Worried Orta/ Radz and Beilsa feel current squad good enough for premiership. I feel and seems Like consensus Is we need 5-6 in.
If bees get beat, would go for Watkins and Benrahma or Fulham out then Kebanno looks tricky winger.

Ecstatic that Leeds United are no longer under the clutches of the EFL .

As the EFL continue may just have surpassed their shambolic injustice of Spygate by finally making a judgement on Sheff Wed in deducting them 12 points but for next season not this season. it should have been for this season which would hs e seen them come bottom, relegated and Charlton stay up.

The EFL as ever never fit for purpose.

Believable12 Unbelievable0

Bazooka agree mate Charlton should take advice on this mater it happen in the season and therefore should stand for this campaign. EFL you are shambles.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 09:23:27
But if Derby get the deduction it would be like no penalty unless it applied to next season. Do not want them to get away free.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 10:44:31
It's a weird one as it didn't happen this season, its about 2018/ 19 accounts isn't it?
I agree though why carry over to next season. They have no clue how to operate the EFL.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 11:03:03
The charges were made in November 2019 . Any competent organisation would have reached a judgement 6 to 8 weeks later by February at the latest not forking 9 months later

Last season Birmingham were charged and deducted 12 points in the same season. A precedent was set

I hope Charlton have the balls to sue the inept EFL for unjust loss of championship status and loss of income.

01 Aug 2020 11:24:27
I agree Bazooka. They should crowd fund it. I would contribute. I really believe that the EFL need to be made to do things consistently. It just feels like minnow clubs like Eigan and Charlton are not treated the same as big city clubs do.

Agree6 Disagree0

01 Aug 2020 11:47:08
Yes Axe I would contribute to that crowd fund . the EFL needs suing and then replaced by a new competent organisation.

Charlton are looking at legal action, and rightly so. Wendies should be relegated, and Charlton should stay up. The punishment should be relevant to the accounts period. And what about the Derby scammers?
