Very disappointed with our transfer window again we have no ambition to get out of this league with current owners forget all the excuses about money or wage bill we have had time to secure decent targets shed w have more intent than us?

Can't even get an up coming striker from lg1 with a nonsense bid of 300k. We are not serious about up coming talent from elsewhere, without the academy players we are an average lg1 team at best, and to think that cellino views the academy as a financial burden?
Come on parkin, do the business with MC, if tin pot boro can be at the top with their p155 poor following we should be a fluking shoe in for a top 2 spot and before anyone tells me 'it don't work like that, ; not that straightforward. etc. Need to resolve our ownership structure once and for all.
we need to somehow eradicate the GFH tapeworm which passively absorbs approx 25/ 30% of our turnover.
TA/ ER rent;goes without saying this is a massive blight on the balance sheet each year.

I have an idea!

How would people feel about doing a shirt sponsorship/ staduim naming rights with gfh in exchange for their shares in lufc? (putting on my protective body armour as I type)
Then whoever is in control of lufc owns much nearer or the full100%. no Mr 25% lurking in the background and being out of the running for mediocre perm players and being outdone by the likes of sheffield W@^k$d4y.
(self censored ed)

Free publicity that companies pay millions for, worth a try Massimo/ Parkin.

Evening fellow sufferers,

It pains me to say it. But we are no longer a big club anymore

I don't understand for the life of me why we are not attracting a man city/ chelski type owner.
Leicester, Wednesday, Bournemouth, Bristol city all have rich backers why not us.

Look at the size of those clubs
We are a one team city WITH a huge fan base

I know we don't own ground etc. but we are leeds united. Seeing teams like Brighton getting bigger crowds than us every week is embarrassing go be honest.

Being outbid by these teams for players. It shouldn't be happening. We were big but not anymore I'm afraid to say.

Hey up guy. First time posting on here but enjoy coming on to hear MOST of your opinions and rumours.
Just wanted to say what an absolute joke this deadline day has been. Everyone with a shred of knowledge about the club know that we are crying out for a solid defender and we need a guaranteed goal scorer. Ok I admit the douk has been puttin in some decent performances but we need that week in week out. Now iv been watchin deadline day as i'm sure most of you have and norwich completely dismissed any interest from leeds regarding lafferty. Mr cellino has lied to us once again just trying to keep us sweet. Its an absolute joke.

Looks like it is going to be another disappointing transfer window. We have Bridcutt and cars yolk on loan does anybody know if we have agreements with the respective clubs to sign them both at the end of the season should we wish to sign them.

Big Steve still at Elland Road working late on three tasty deals:-
1. Turkish Forward Donna Kebab, this is the most likely as all terms agreed £5 including delivery, reported to be racing to the ground undercover in take away delivery van to avoid photographers.
2. Chineese International center half chopper suey, known in his home land as a bit of a hatchet man, deal in doubt as he will only come if he can have is usual number 64a.
3. Vinda Loo, 22 year old winger described as s++t hot by his current manager, will reportedly play for a bowl of rice so Cellinio very keen on this one, however as we all now know deal nan too likely.

HAPPY TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY FELLOW SUFFERERS.

So MC comes out and comments that he hasn't got enough time to replace a striker

Does he know that this window has been open all month? HE wouldn't have tpo replace one if he had secured one early enough.

More bullcarp coming out the management room at the club.

Letting Antenucci go now would make perfect sense, a nominal fee and freeing up wages, and he is 31 and will be leaving anyway.

Thanks Speedy and Mick but I am just like you Speedy I can't get to barely any games due to the cost and listen to nearly all matches on Radio or on Sky. I only get as much of a good view as you. People like Hess and others who say they go to every game have a much better view than you and I. So thanks for the kind words from You and the Mad one and I will continue my analysis for the games but really you and others who get the same view as me. Can put there Opinions down. And people who get a better understanding because they go every game can correct me if I am wrong and they will probably be right because of a better view. Thanks for kind words again. MOT!

I don't expect much to happen - I think the priority is getting the finances sorted - don't think 50P and as much tap water as you can drink will attract anyone. Let's hope it's part of the greater plan - difficult to take but let's hope it all works out🤔.

I've just heard that Lewis Roll (also known as Loo Roll) is currently at Thoroe Arch having a medical. He's a young centre back who's good at working with crap, so should fit in well with the rest of our defence.

Can't decide if I am happy or sad over the current transfer (lack of) movements. On the one hand are we showing that we cannot compete and that we are not as big a draw as we think we are or are MC and SE keeping there money in the bank until the summer and the big push next year.
I hope they don't fall between 2 stools and buy somebody just because.

Who is out there at the moment? Why do we need to sign some average ageing Prem league player? I'd go with Celinio and Evans are looking towards next season. Wednesday have to go all or bust, because they have a realistic chance of getting in the play offs. We can only look towards next season, whether that comes with the usual circus we don't know.

Sheffield W seem to have a lot of money and could have kicked our arse again by signing that Everton guy and Fernando before (who has been a great signing to be fair)

I don't know if we are going to do anything today but looking at their league position/ spending makes us look a little second best in yorkshire, or maybe 3rd best behind Hull as well.

We need to aim be ahead of Hull/ Wedns, least we have more fans.

I don't think there is such a county as Humberside anymore. It was abolished before 2000 and the cod heads have been split between Yorkshire (where Hull is) and North Lincolnshire (where Grimsby is) .

Well humberside was abolished in 96 and Hull became part of East Yorkshire, Middlesborough is in cleveland so come on Mr Leedsarewe if you going to correct make sure ya right!

MM I went to Grimsby once, and Cleethorpe, had a girlfriend who as at Grimsby Uni/ Poly so went over there a lot, it wasn't too bad when I was 21, smell (of place, not girlfriend) didn't bother me really, ain't been back for 20 years, must put that on my wishlist, oh and would be good to see Grimsby again as well ha ha

Danny's Dodgy Deals:

As its deadline day, I'd thought I'd let you in on a few secret transfer deals. Their so secret in fact, not even the clubs, players, agents, or even old blokes in tesco know about them.

Leeds are apparently chasing Italian dinamo Tassimo. He brings a smooth blend and aramatic style. He should suit Leeds well with his play often being described as flat white.

Leeds are also interested in Dean Brick, a talented non-league 6.5ft centre back. Evans hopes he can use Brick to strengthen the foundations of the team, using his height to create a wall in defence.

I'll keep you posted as more deals could be possible.

Really good performance against Bolton yesterday dominated 1st half, one of the best half's of the season up there Wolves's 2nd half and Hull's 1st half (Which was the best IMO. ) and Derby's 1st half. (We could of had 3 or 4 goals in the Bolton game maybe even in 1st Half! ) and second we were still the better side and were comfortable until the 83rd minute.

IMO our last two Fa Cup games is the two way's we should play against bottom sides either (Obviously preferable option and what we should be doing! ) perform like we did against Bolton for 83 minutes, (Preferably 1st half Obviously! ) this how we should peform against bottom sides especially at ER.

The other option (We should hopefully hardly ever happen but they we are right now struggling against bottom sides in the league it probably will happen often. ) is if we have a bad day we at least ( At ER especially. ) have to play ok and win comfortably like against Rotherham.

So now on to the players ratings:

Silvestri 5 Was average didn't have much to do and so couldn't and didn't (Which is good! ) have to play better.

Wooton Clan 4.5 Don't understand why we didn't play Coyle for this game Wooton was below average missed a chance he really should of scored (Even though he is a full back. ) and got beaten a lot by Silva but he was one of if not there most dangerous player so maybe a bit harsh.

Taylor 6.5 Taylor was decent, and was consistent as usual. "The Beast" Bamba 7 thought Bamba had a quite good game thought he had a shaky start especially with that header downwards which led to a golden chance Bolton should of scored but luckily didn't. But as the game went on Bamba grew into it and had a quite good game at the centre of defence.

Hess's Fling Bellusci 6.5 had a decent game did Bellucsi and also tried another spectacular free kick like he did against Bournemouth like he did last season but unfortunately didn't go in.

Bridcutt 6.5 A usual Briddcutt performance winning the midfield battles, screening the defense and starting the some of our attacking movements a decent, and consistent performance from Bridcutt.

Diougara 8 ( This will make Philg happy! ) A good performance from Diougara he was winning so much in the midfield yesterday especially early on and worked hard and rounded of a really good 1st half performance with a goal. Just IMO didn't stay that quality in the 2nd half but was still decent.

Cookie 7 a quite good performance from him and hopefully this will quite some of his critics Cook was dangerous today and I think playing in his best role in an attacking free roaming role IMO.

Also Cook's final ball was back to it's best because overall in the Brentford game it was good IMO but near the end of the second half he couldn't get it right. Just hope he can start scoring then he would be the complete package, In a way I am happy he doesn't because some club might pay that "Ridiculous" money Evans was on about. Cook was dangerous and quite good today.

Dallas 6.5 was decent today which I am glad to see because IMO you can't deny his work rate but he is quite going forward sometimes which is frustrating because he can be really dangerous (For example Wolves. )

So that is good to see just hope he can score a couple more and add a couple more assists. A decent game from Dallas yesterday.

Doukara 8 was good yesterday he worked really hard and was involved with a lot of good things to do with our attacking movements especially in the 1st half. He was a big part in the second goal and obviously scored the first. Doukara MOTM.

Aunty Lucy 6 Ant played ok and got an assist I personally don't think he want's to be here and want's to move back to Italy but an ok performance. Adeyemi, Coyle and Carayol were either not long enough or didn't enough to rate.

So a really good performance, quite a poor scoreline to say how much we dominated but a good win against a poor Bolton side. So our cup run now continues on to a very tough away match against a decent Premier league Watford. But hopefully with the magic of the Fa Cup on our side (Couldn't help it. )

we can provide a upset against a lot smaller club who are were we should be. Were Leeds Were Proud Stand it up Sing it loud Because there nothing you can do against the Yellow, White and Blue. MOT!

Stan. You've arrived as a breath of fresh air to this site.
