Becchio is going nowhere! the new owners EFGHIJK ?? (whatever) may not be our multimillion pound saviours as we all first thought but they cannot be that daft to sell one of the fans favourites, they need to get the fans on side, turning down any bids for him would go a long way to prove this to long suffering skint fans?

I can't believe some are disagreeing with this. How on earth could GFH expect to be taken seriously if they even CONSIDERED selling Becchio? What a start thet would be!

I know we've had a bad decade, but come on folks, let's not let doom & gloom swallow us up this early in the reign of our new owners!

I disagreed with original post because LUFC are a business not a fans plaything and, if the right offer was put in front of the owners, they will sell.

Awful, disgraceful play today. Apparentely the team had a virus, but all of us on this site could have probably gone onto the pitch with one leg and one eye and put on a berter performance than that! We have no chance to get anywhere if we continue like this. We are just lucky bolton were as rubbish as us!

Come on lighten up! We got the three points, it was never going to be a great game. {Ed013's Note - 3 points is great, 3 games in a row of very poor footbal is worrying, today was terrible}

The way both teams shape up, Leeds v Bolton was never going to be anything other than a very dour affair. The important thing is we got the points which keeps us in the mix. Now we have January and hopefully an injection of quality.

Being fair, at the start of the season many Leeds fans thought we were in danger of going down. The reality is we're currently 2 points away from 6th position.

Agree completly with last post. I don't care if we win ugly as long as the points go our way. I know we wasn't great yesterday, but our only goalscorer was man-marked all game by a 6ft 9 tall zat knight. i personally thought we was gunna lose but cheered them on from south stand! Virus going round the squad i wouldn't of expected us to play like barca, but as warnock has proved already this season, a couple of smart buys, team improves massively. A couple of points off the playoff's with plenty of games to go i have faith lets cheer sgt warnock's barmy army all the way MOT!

All 3 permanent with also tonge. (missed him today I fell )

We may be 3 points better off than we were this morning but in truth that was a pretty shocking display of football. I'm told that Bolton have the worst away record in the league and if that's true I'm not surprised. They were by far the worst team I've watched this season and we barely scraped a win against them. Had they not given us a needless, soft penalty, I really couldn't see where we were going to get a goal.

More hopeless long ball, no invention, cant pass/won't pass, cracks papered over once more. No doubt loads of people will tell me to stop moaning and that we're only two points off the play offs but that was a team we should have buried. Fine, keep your heads buried as much as you like.

Only the mindlessly loyal, or those who weren't there and are just looking at the score and the table, can possibly believe we have a squad capable of reaching the Premiership.

It all hinges on what signings we get in I think, team needs someone with some creativity in the middle, still not keen on the defensive set up, not a great fan of White or Lees tbh but least they're young, I know teams need some players with experience but way too many old players what happens if we do get up, theres gonna be quite a few to be replaced, an I'd be suprised if we don't drop straight bk down

It was dire and not helped by Austin hoofing shots over the stand in the final third, he needs to cut that out and pick a pass now and again.

The only 2 posotives of todays game were 1 No varney and 2 Brown didnt get on the pitch

Might have escaped your notice but the transfer window opened today , for f***s sake stop moaning, we got three points, becchio, mccormack and byram are staying and we will be bringing more in , so three points today was the important thing, not the performance, or maybe you'd prefer grayson back , as it looks like he will be free soon

Totally agree. Like you I'm tired of people dismissing those offering this type of criticism as "moaners". I pay over-inflated prices for 2 season tickets and I'm entitled to express my views. Today's performance was dire, the Boro win was only marginally better. In neither match did we deserve more than a point. Sandwiched between were Forest and Hull when we got precisely what we deserved. No pace, no quality, no creativity, no hopers - about time NW owned up and did something about it or got out, instead of usual distracting post-match comments to avoid facing the truth. Error stricken from start to finish and would never have scored in open play if the game had continued til now.

Eddie Gray summed the performance today up in one word " Attrocious". Think there was a bit of frostiness between Gray and Warnock in the post match interview, Gray not happy with it at all, Warnock thinking we played well, I wish NW no harm and still hope and wish he does the business but if he thinks todays was a good performance I despair

Tate has only signed till end of January either a stop gap till donkey hill signs or were after sum 1 better great result and a clean sheet omg MOT jp

Good, based on his performance at Hull & today he's only one step removed from needing a Zimmer frame -he was rooted to the spot and has absolutely no pace in both games

Although id like a younger up & coming player i do think hill will be better than tate

Watched Jool's Holland's Hootenany last night, amazed to see KB playing with the Dubliners (check it out on catch up). Now it makes sense why he wanted to sell up, a new career with the irish warblers beckons.

McGugan was an unused sub today and Boyd played full game so i don't think deals for these two are particularly imminent as some suggest.

I really fail to share the excitement over Boyd.

Just seen the Leeds team to play today. Looks promising but don't understand why Warnock has not picked one natural left-sided player? No Brown than f*** for that :)

McCormack started off as a left sided winger come striker...he's capable playing both positions

I know its a weird 1 but how's about putting rossco in center mid he's got flair brilliant range of passing and he will want to get forward and help out leaveing austin or dare I say it brown to sit and help out the defence

Good call! You always need that style of player that can pick a pass. The rest are just ball watching or playing hot potato with the ball. Watch Warnock get a player in a position that we don't need, then play him out of position in the place we do need.
