ok is it odd to say i enjoyed that defeat?

I know we lost but thought we were really good and very entertaining, always looked dangerous and played great football.

KP tackle was awful and I have always said he is very capable of a red card, that said he has cleared that part of his game up so feel bit sorry for the lad. That said he is no CB and if he plays it has to be midfeild for klicth (dont think we can drop forshaw)

keeper is a must for me, too many goals this season has been his fault although he made some great saves and won us poitns as well, but business end we need a more consitent keeper.

alosiki for me has improved, harrison good today but we need better. so one winger one cb and one keeper and we should be laughing!

also that lad clarke, i'm not saying he is the best youth product since my time as a leeds fan, but i honestly think he is the most exciting.

Bermo, very fair post! I enjoyed the game as well, never say die! Effort with 10 men terrific and I agree about Harrison and Alioski. Even agree that KP shouldn’t be playing at CB and we should give Aapo a go!

Feel sorry about Bailey because he could benefit from some wiser goalie hands around him.

Just hope that Bielsa and Orta can find people who fit the criteria!

I think we played really well today, down to 10 men was always going to difficult but they gave it a go and offensively looked very good.
The way we play we need a secure back line and with KP filling that role when he certainly isn’t a high quality centre half that’s our downfall.

The worrying stat over the last three games is that the opposition has had 13 shots on target and scored 10 goals, that’s surely an unacceptable percentage. Now do we say it’s that we limit opponents to chances so that only clear cut chances are on target or is it that BPF isn’t positioning himself ready for the strike and therefore once the defence is breached they have a good chance of scoring?

I hope the powers that be who know far more than I do analyse where the problem lies and rectifies it. The return of Beradi and Cooper would certainly help but are we dropping points now due to lack of foresight regarding injuries', BFP certainly needs competition for his place which he hasn’t really got at the moment and Pontus needs a top centre half beside him to repel break away attacks when our full backs/ wing backs are in the opposition penalty area.

Overall we’re a good team but defensive frailties could derail our season. We also need to start quicker - how often recently have we been a goal down within a few minutes of the start and we end up chasing games. The game always seems to start for us after half an hour.

Kp needs to be back in midfield when he gets back as Foreshaw not half as good as him. We need to get a winger who can score consistently and a goalie. Another game we were bossing but nothing to show disappointed but not down we are still top.

2 defeats isn't the end of the world because I believe in mb and his coaching staff to turn this back to winning ways again . Fa Cup has come at a good time to rest surtain players plus to get new in like a goal keeper to push Farrell on . We are Leeds and still proud of Leeds.

I have been posting what I consider to be realistic posts for some time now. I am not one for rushing about saying we are great and will go up automatically or we are poor and will be in mid table mediocrity. I am a Leeds fan but that doesn't mean you have to blindly keep saying we are going up until May then be all doom and gloom until the season starts again. I like watching football and calling it as I see. This group of players is punching well above its weight and they need the help of some fresh quality players to see them through. I think we have done great so far but the cracks are beginning to appear and remedial work needs doing. May is a long time off so let's see who is right.

Fair play. And I hope the positive ones are right. We are not punching above our weight tho. We deserve to be where we are, as do the likes of Norwich, Brom and blunts. This is the only real competitive league in Britain, and it’s a battle to get out of it, but we will, this year, with the greatest coach we’ve had since Wilko. We are Leeds.

For my own part, I don’t think I have ever said we are definitely going up, because nobody knows what is going to happen. But I am enjoying what we are doing and how we are playing and I think the team spirit that Bielsa has fostered is a big part of our success. He shows trust in his players and doesn’t slaughter them publicly and they respond. Let’s see what we do in the Jan market and the. Get some honest views on here about whether it is enough.

Conceded silly goal, could not take any of the chances we then created, that was the problem, they should have been down to 10 men before us . Showed great spirit, looks like lots of the teams around us have fatigue as well, a lot is down to strength of squad now. need our injured players back, they will freshen it up. Still think we need the new faces in as well, I would look for up to 6 players 3 or 4 to replace the players we have lost from the squad and a couple more for good measure. Cannot even say Brown and Roberts are squad members when they have hardly played a game between them. Thought Harrison tried harder and looked better today.

Everyone saying Hull loss was just a blip. We shouldn't lose at home! Now back to back defeats against a poor forest team not helped by ref and KP. But playing the same players for so many games in such a short period shows we have a team and not a squad. We tried hard and played well at times today and gave it a good shot but If we had 18 quality fit players then a rotation would have been done over this xmas period. So come on Radz we av lost a keeper and Saiz so let's get them replaced and then add a winger, c half and striker this jan. We can then reach the promised land.

The attitude, determination and fitness is awesome . Never give up even at 4-2 with 10 men. Time to recover a bit now. No luck again in the first half, gave them a goal start and then an extra man.


For the cup, all of the bench plus a few more of the under 23s please. Give as many as possible a break.

Said it before but Bielsa needs to be honest about the squad, those players on the bench should have been good enough to play a bit more over Christmas. If they aren't then ask for some more.

I said a few weeks ago we are not good enough. I've kept quiet after the euphoria of the two late but lucky wins. The squad is two small and we are forcing players to play out of position. This leads to inconsistency, fatigue and then injuries. Bielsa should have strengthened when he had the chance and used all the players at his disposal. He won't play Halme but plays Harrison. That is poor. He has done wonders so far but he is inclined to be rigid and stubborn. Going back to the Harrison issue. We all thought Man. City would do us favours but it is clearly the other way round. I still think we will finish in the top ten, probably the top six. We are not automatic promotion calibre unless we strengthen. Relying on Bamford, Brown, Cooper and Beradi coming back and getting us promotion is a bit too optimistic.

Hess it’s easy to post that viewpoint after we have lost, would have been braver to do it after the wins! This is Bielsa, the trust and faith that he shows in the players is rewarded by the way they play and keep going. You can’t write the season off with a loss against Forest when we played a massive chunk of the game with 10 men.

I agree and have posted before that we should use Baker andAapo more, particularly over Christmas. If he doesn’t trust them, then don’t have them in the squad.

It’s not just our results that are wobbling and the manager of the team that beat us today might still be sacked tomorrow!

This season is a long way from being decided, Bamford and Brown contributions will be key.

But in my opinion you are a very brave Leeds fan to give up on automatic promotion after the fight the players showed today.
